Strange error message when creating Project Excel Template, can anyone explain?

I am getting this error every time I create a Project Excel Template, and I don’t know why, nor do I understand what the error message is trying to tell me. The project is very simple, just a task list with resources assigned, but
the resources are not assigned any costs or rates, as we don’t use. Any help is appreciated, as I have to explain this. Thx!

thx John for your help. I don't think any thing at all is applied... I get the same message if I just create a new blank project and try the export. The resulting output looks fine - it's just the message that worries me. I am on the road training some folks
in Africa in regards to the beauty of MS Project 2013, and this one is a bit embarrassing. Perhaps it's an OS thing? The only substantial thing that's changed on my machine is that I went from Windows 8 to 8.1. Hmmm, also installed Visio. Well, thx again!

I don't know if it will work, but try rebuilding the mailbox. This can take awhile if you have a lot of mail.

"Macros in this project are disabled..." error message when creating PDF files

The following error occurs when creating a PDF file using a document that was created from a MS Word 2007 templates.
"Macros in this project are disabled..."
The security settings are set appropriately - it's not that. I have done everything I can think of including asking Microsoft; they say it's not them. It may not be, but I do not know how to get around it. It did not happen before upgrading my templates to the Office 2007 format.
Has this happened to anyone else? There is no coding within th etemplates regartding PDFs. We are using Adobe Professional X. The error only occurs when we use Adobe Pro X.
One thing I just noticed, our templates get the following message when we go to save as a PDF using Adobe:
Acrobat PDFMAker needs to save the file before continuing. Do you want PDFMaker to save the file and continue?

Does it work the first time after you delete your Normal.dotm file? You may be running into the same issue that is detailed in this post Unable to open document. Please check to see if you have read permission for the above file.

Strange error message when I tried to use the "collaborate" function under "File"

Has anyone else met this before? : I am trying to share my project with my team members. Tried File -> Collaborate and then try three options under it. Non e of them works. It asks for your Adobe ID in order to sign in and upload. However, every time I typed in my Adobe ID and password, it gave me strange error messages. The first time it says: User has not verified email address yet. I have been using this Adobe ID since 2008 or 2009 and of course I have verified my email address. But to make sure, I went back to my email box and search for emails about Adobe ID verification but I didn't find any (I never delete emails such as this).
Then I tried to register a new Adobe ID. This time when I tried to singn in with the new Adobe ID, it will either say "Network may not be available" (which is not true because I am able to surf on the Internet at the same time), or it says "User has not accepted user condition/agreement".
I feel so frustrated because I feel this is definitely not my mistake which caused the failure of log in.
Hope someone can tell me what the reason is and how to fix it though.

Thanks for your quick response. I followed your suggestion and verified my Adobe ID on acrobat.com.
Now I can enter the collaborate function. However, everytime when I tried to send it to myself (for test purpose) I got another error message "You need to enter a valid emaill address". I saw someone else on this forum has met the same problem. Do you have any suggestion on what is the possible reason for this to happen?

Error message when creating a Master File

I have finished editing a multicam clip of a graduation ceremony which is an hour and 27 minutes long. Clients are anxiously awaiting the DVDs/BR discs.
There are six "Rotation" and one "Ribbon" titles and 21 chapter markers in the timeline. None of the chapter markers are placed in a transition.
I'm using 10.0.8 FCPX and OS 10.6.8.
I've tried to create Master File in order to use Toast 11 titanium to make a Blu Ray disc but I've had the following message appear twice midway through the process:
The operation could not be completed because an error occurred when creating frame 152526 (error -1).
Any suggestions as to what I might do to resolve this will be greatly appreciated. Or is there is another method to create a Blu Ray disc, I'd appreciate info.

Go to Preferences and turn off Background Rendering.
Select your project in the library and in the File menu, click on Delete project Render Files; choose All when prompted. Select your event and do the same with the event Render files. In the project use the range tool to select a short section. Try to export that as a test. Don't render before you export.
If that doesn't work, copy the project and paste it into a fresh project. Try another export test.
If that doesn't work, create a new user account.
As for Blu Ray, there is a Share preset if want to check it out. Very simple menus. And the preset can only handle single tracks.

Error message when opening project.

Hello,
I get an error message when I try to open a project which I've been working on for the last couple of weeks.
It looks like this:
Any tips on how to get it to work again, or am I screwed?
I've tried to restart Captivate aswell as the computer. The file is not an attachment and I've been working on it every day the last weeks, been working just fine. There's still hard disk space left, so shouldn't be an issue either.
Any help is appreciated.

I was referring to the Preference option in Captivate to create backup files. Did you have this turned on?
Working over a LAN on any Captivate project file is not recommended because a glitch in the network traffic during a save action can corrupt your project file. This may in fact be what has happened in your case.
When you say the file was "only saved on my hard drive" do you mean that you saved the project file to your hard drive before opening it each time you work on it? If so, this is highly recommended.
Look to see if you have a backup version of your file (look in the same location as the project file and see if you have another file there about the same size with the same name but backup on the end).
If there is no backup file then you may be able to restore the project by using the Captivate cache files.

Final Cut Pro X – error message when exporting project

Hi,
When sharing a project to Master File I get an error message (error 1) – error occurred when creating frame (10387, 12723, 12836 and so forth). I keep editing and cutting these ‘bad’ frames out (with the blade), but it keeps finding new error frames. I originally found the bad frames as they were showing up green in the timeline. Now, I can't find any more green/bad frames, but the error messages keeps coming up. The file shares to 29% and then stops.
Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue? How can I get rid of these error messages? How can I export (share the Master File) the project?

Are you working 0n 10.0.9? If not, update FCPX and see whether that solves the problem.

Buffering table not up to date error message when creating a Cart

Hi Folks,
We are getting a 'Buffering table not up to date' error message when attempting to create a Cart. The error message only happens to the one end user ID only with the others not getting this error, therefore suggesting that my SRM org plan set-up is correct.
Has anyone come across this previously and what checks are available in the system to resolve this? As mentioned, the attribute check is okay and I have also removed the user ID from the SRM org plan and reassigned again but this has not corrected the problem. We are on SRM 5.

Error message when creating new Pantones

Hi,
When I create a new pantone then double click on it in the swatches panel I get the following error message:
"Cannot create swatch library. There are no swatches in the file "HARD DRIVE:Applications:Adobe InDesign CS6: Presets: Swatch Libraries:PANTONE+ Solid Coated.acb"
I've checked the folder and the acb file is there so I don't understand why it is not recognising it?

I tried running pacman -Syyu, but that did not seem to solve the problem. There is /var/lib/pacman/local/openssl-0.9.8l-1/
directory but it is empty. When running pacman -S openssl, I get the above error message as well but it spans for hundreds of buffer lines. In the end I end up with this:

seemed to have fixed it. Did not know of the force reinstall option. The necessary directories in /var/lib/pacman/local/openssl have been created.

This is the forum for the free Adobe Reader and since it doesn't create PDF's, you'll need to be a bit more specific about what you are doing and what you are using. Maybe then we can point you in the right direction.
