Strange error message when submitting my contact form - what does it mean?

This site was designed by someone else and taken over by me. The contact form used to work but now when you type in the fields and hit SUBMIT you get the error message that I've attached. I've tried changing the code using Godaddy's gdform mailer steps and it's still not working.

Your form is apparently trying to send via SMTP through pobox.com instead of from your own domain. pobox.com has probably set up their server to prevent this type of email relay - a good thing.
Why not send through your own domain's mail server? I know nothing about GoDaddy, though. You might want to give them a call.

Is this an error message? A notice?? What does it mean?

Every day for the last two weeks or so I've been having the same thing happen. When I leave my computer on but unattended for several hours (maybe 6+, like while I'm at work or sleeping), when I come back to the computer, there's a message on my desktop that says: "192.168.1.100 in use by 00:21:5c:0b:f8:a7, DHCP Server 192.168.1.1" And there's an exclamation point in a red box to the left of it.
What the heck does that mean?? And do I need to do anything about? I wonder why such cryptic messages are even made!

Yes, use of the term "machine" is meant to explicitly avoid implicating only computers! If your printer is networked, then it has an IP and must be considered a suspect. That is to say that if it connects to your home Internet router/hub via an Ethernet cable or WiFi, it has an IP; if it connects directly to a computer via USB it almost certainly does not.
Since the offending device was manufactured by Intel, and since Intel makes both wired and wireless NICs, I would start with your husbands computer. Do you know how to display IP addresses on both computers? It varies by operating system but it can be done fairly simply regardless. In Windows, I just launch a "Command Prompt" (under Accessories or Run>cmd) or and issue 'ipconfig' and then just look for that duplicate IP address. In OS X, you need a terminal shell and issue 'ifconfig' and repeat the same process (depending on the number of NICs installed, you may have to wade through a bunch of nonsense but your main goal is just to ensure you don't see that common IP showing up twice). Of course there are more graphical ways to do both but that'll take a fair bit of explanation, so try to go with this path of least resistance.
If you do in fact find a duplicate, you'll have to decide how to fix it. Hard-coding one machine for a similar but not exactly identical address would be one choice. Implementing DHCP would be a much better choice but you'd need to ensure something in your network will act as a DHCP server. Most everything sold in the past decade will.
And I should say again that your specific network environment may lead to a different conclusion about what exactly is going on. I gave you my best guess based upon the information available. As a general disclaimer: I'm a network engineer by trade but I'm by no means an OS X expert, so that error message might somehow be misleading me. I doubt it highly, but can't rule out entirely that it might be...

I googles this and can't find anyone who has had it. How can you find out without being an operating systems developer!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. What happens to the slideshow other than giving you this error. Don't know what it means. However, several users have reported iPhoto crashing when trying to export a slideshow. You might search this forum for that to see if you're experiencing something similar. As far as I know there was no fix found.
Be sure to report it to Apple via via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.

Error messages when submitting a validated RSS feed URL to iTS.

Why do I keep getting error messages when submitting a validated RSS feed URL to iTS. Feed is http://streaming.integrationworks.com:3000/archive/feed2.xml
I get variations on the follwoing message: "We had difficulty reading this feed. Bad http result code: 504"
I validated this file at http://www.feedvalidator.org/. I am able to manually place it in iTunes (Open Stream) and download episodes. I can paste the URL in my browser and retrieve an RSS feed page.
Any ideas?

You have to remember that when subscribing manually, it's only your iTunes application which is doing this - the Store is not involved at all. When submitting, the Store software checks the feed as a technical check before its assessed for content by humans; but how this is done and what sort of call is made to the server is another of Apple's dark secrets.
You're the third with a similar situation in the last couple of days, and I've seen this arise before: though the specific message about a proxy server is unique to you. (A proxy server would act as an intermediary - anyone accessing the feed would ask the proxy for it, and the proxy would retrieve it from the actual server and pass it back, masking the original server's URL in the process. Whether this is actually what is going on is obviously something only your server technicians can say - and then there's the question of what is different about a request from the iTunes Store.)
If all else fails you could place the feed on another server and try again - you could do this and leave the episode media files where they are, they don't have to be on the same server as the feed, as long as the server in question can handle 'byte-range requests' (which is a quite separate can of digital worms).

Try 2 solutions: 1. Press both Ctrl and Shift keys then double click on ITunes. Hold keys down until a box appears on screen indicating ITunes is starting in "safe mode'. left click on 'continue" and ITunes will run without closing.
2; Start ITunes normally, then after loading, choose "Match" and then touch "stop" beforre step 3 , Uploading songs...", runs for more than a few seconds. The code problems are in Match; the uploading function in Match. ITunes won't crash if you stop Match soon enough!

What baltwo is saying is to clone your volume over to an external hard drive with CCC reformat and clone it back. This will defragment the files and make them all contiguous but will not address any directory problems.
Your choice. You can do it one way, then the other if it doesn't work out for you.

Double tap home button and then at the bottom of the screen it shows what's apps you have open. Hold finger on one of those apps till they wiggle and then tap on the X for just those apps at the very bottom of the screen. This closes them but does not delete them. See if that helps

If you have an album with tracks by different artists, for instance "Now That's What I Call Running", that's a Compilation of songs by different artists. (Presumably, they ran out of numbers )
So in iTunes, each track should be marked as Part of a compilation. When you see that box on a CD loaded in your CD drive, ready for importing, look at the Get Info for the complete album (by highlighting the album title on the left under Devices) and on there you will see a tick-box named Compilation CD which - if ticked - marks all the tracks as Part of a compilation. This becomes useful when the iPod and iTunes sort the album.
However - iTunes obtains the album information from a third-party database called Gracenote, which is compiled by the record label personel, artists and fans. Quiet often, you will find that an album of "Greatest Hits of <a band>" will be marked as a compilation. I don't think it is, and neither does iTunes. So if you are importing a "Greatest Hits of xxx artist" album, make sure that the Compilation box is off (no tick-in-the-box). Likewise, an album by "an artist", but with a guest artist on one or two tracks is not a compilation.
One final point; if you import a true Compilation album, with each track by a different artist, then once it is imported, make sure that the Album Artist field says "Various Artists". You do this by highlighting the complete album in your library and selecting File/Get Info/Info>Album Artist which is the box immediately below the Artist box and typing in "Various Artists". This will help you when sorting and searching albums on your iPod.
