\\ONTHEFRIDGE\development LinkStation Share Folder
\\ONTHEFRIDGE\database LinkStation Share Folder
\\ONTHEFRIDGE\share LinkStation Share Folder
\\ONTHEFRIDGE\info LinkStation information
\\ONTHEFRIDGE\lp Network Printer for Windows
what does this error mean?
when i booted up arch today i found myself unable to ping/connect to this NAS - is the error related?
thanks.

never mind the second issue - i forgot to comment out eth0 in rc.conf as specified in the networkmanager wiki, after i did that + rebooted i can see the NAS fine as well as mount the shares using autofs.
still getting that error with smbtree though.

  • Error return from xmlparserBuffer

    Hi,
    I am in the process of converting the program from using IBM's

    xmlparseBuffer to parse an in-memory message (with embedded
    DTD). The following error was returned:
    <1,1> LPX-00218: invalid character found
    How do we investigate the problem based on this return error ?
    Is there any other details that we (the application) need to
    know ?
    The same message was fine when using IBM's parser.

    The "<1,1>" is the line,char location of the offending
    character. If this doesn't help can you post the XML message you
    are trying to parse?

  • Strange values returned from xentop

    I'm going to take the output of xentop to expose its data via snmp akin to this method here. However my testing so far has resulted in some strange results. My machine is idling with no virtual machines running. Running xentop in interactive mode (e.g. just type xentop from the command line) I typically get the following output.
    xentop - 10:08:55 Xen 3.1.4
    2 domains: 2 running, 0 blocked, 0 paused, 0 crashed, 0 dying, 0 shutdown

    Note that the dom0 CPU time isn't really doing much, it is sat around 1-2% usage.
    However if I run the command;
    xentop -b -i 2 -d.1
    First of all I have to run two itterations because xentop always returns 0.0 for CPU usage in dom0 in the first itteration. Oddly the second itteration has a VERY high value for CPU usage even when the machine is at idle. For example...
    [root@ovm bin]# xentop -b -i 2 -d.1

    Also, Oracle VM already collects usage metrics -- the Oracle VM Manager uses the OVSDataCollector.py cronjob to obtain CPU/Memory utilization statistics from all the servers within the pool. And, Oracle VM 2.1.5 was released this week that includes the Web Services API and CLI tools. You should probably take a look at those instead of trying to hack snmp support out of xentop.

  • Error return from JOB_SUBMIT / SUBMIT when running with another  username

    I am trying to run the program RSBDCSUB after setting up a BDC session.
    Due to our authorisations in the production environment I have to run this program under a generic user (l_ernam) that has the authorisations as most users do not.
    Here is the code I am using:
    CALL FUNCTION 'JOB_OPEN'
    EXPORTING
    jobname = l_jobname
    IMPORTING
    JOBCOUNT = l_jobcount
    CHANGING
    RET = l_ret
    EXCEPTIONS
    CANT_CREATE_JOB = 1
    INVALID_JOB_DATA = 2
    JOBNAME_MISSING = 3
    OTHERS = 4
    Submit RSBDCSUB And Return
    User l_Ernam
    Via Job l_Jobname Number l_Jobcount
    with mappe = l_mappe .
    CALL FUNCTION 'JOB_CLOSE'
    EXPORTING
    jobcount = l_jobcount
    jobname = l_jobname
    STRTIMMED = 'X'
    EXCEPTIONS
    CANT_START_IMMEDIATE = 1
    INVALID_STARTDATE = 2
    JOBNAME_MISSING = 3
    JOB_CLOSE_FAILED = 4
    JOB_NOSTEPS = 5
    JOB_NOTEX = 6
    LOCK_FAILED = 7
    OTHERS = 8
    When I run this with a restricted user I get a return of 8 from the submit rsbdcsub - has anyone seen this before and can you offer advice on how to solve it?.
    I have also tried using JOB_SUBMIT with the following settings instead
    CALL FUNCTION 'JOB_SUBMIT'
    EXPORTING
    authcknam = l_ernam
    jobcount = l_jobcount
    jobname = l_jobname
    REPORT = l_report
    VARIANT = l_variant
    EXCEPTIONS
    BAD_PRIPARAMS = 1
    BAD_XPGFLAGS = 2
    INVALID_JOBDATA = 3
    JOBNAME_MISSING = 4
    JOB_NOTEX = 5
    JOB_SUBMIT_FAILED = 6
    LOCK_FAILED = 7
    PROGRAM_MISSING = 8
    PROG_ABAP_AND_EXTPG_SET = 9
    OTHERS = 10
    and in this case get a return of 3 (INVALID_JOBDATA) - anyone any ideas as to how to resolve this?.

    Hello Caroline,
    I do not know whether this issue is resolved at your end. I faced a similar problem and found that User Type for the generic user(l_Ernam) was the cause.
    We had initially defined User Type for the generic user as a 'Communication' and it was giving return code 8 after SUBMIT.
    We later changed the User Type to 'System' and it worked as intended. Job was created under the name of the user who executed the main program and the steps added using the generic user(l_Ernam).
    Please note that the user who is running the main program will need authorization to add job steps using the generic user.
    With Kind Regards,
    Jatin.

  • Error return from Host Command

    I use procedure below to run Win commands from stored procedure, Had found this last year by searching in this forum and it works fine.
    However this procedure lacks facility to return if command was succesful on OS.
    All I want is for Oracle to be able to pick up value of windows variable: %errorlevel% after command has been executed. If necessary I will include " echo %errorlevel% "in a batch file.
    I am patching up somehow but it is too slow. I am currently saving %errorlevel% in a txt file and then using sqlldr to load value in an Oracle table. But this takes about 40 seconds to execute (time needed to open a new session each time).
    I would rather have Java procedure pick up result of batch command directly.

  • Strange Errors from Import Server on Schema-based maps for repeating nodes

    I have already posted one thread about this, but perhaps some more in-depth information is required:
    We have uploaded our schema into the console, and have mapped the following multi-node file to it:
    CUSTOMER <repeating node>
      MDM_CUST (new Customer number returned)
      CUSTOMER(mapped back from XI for RECORD MATCHING)
      CREATE_DATE (text field)
      CONTACT<repeating node>
        CONTACT_NO (RECORD MATCHING : NON-QUALIFIER)
        CONTACT_SAP_NO (QUALIFIER)
         [NOTE: There are other qualifers for CONTACT, but only this one
    qualifier is being returned and is the only field that would and should be updated.
    The other fields should be left alone. However, it appears to overwrite EVERYthing
    with NULL other than these two fields. The CONTACT_NO is the sole qualifer on
    the table. It is a calculated field that equals the Auto-ID that is also produced on
    the table - but obviously not mapped.]
      PARTNER<repeating node>
        CUSTOMER_NO (RECORD MATCHING : NON-QUALIFER)
        PARTNER_FUNC (NON-QUALIFIER - Code given to lookup from PARTNER_FUNCTION table which has Code and Desc)
        PARTNER_NO     (NON-QUALIFIER)
        DEFAULT_PARTNER_FLAG (QUALIFIER)
    <CLOSE CUSTOMER NODE>
    In the Customer main table, all records are matched on CUSTOMER. The CONTACT_NO non-qualifer is matched to the CONTACT qualified lookup table directly since it is the only available non-qualifier. For the PARTNER table, the three qualifiers are mapped and then a compound field is created to map to the PARTNER table entry.
    We have the Configurations set at:
    Default Multi-Valued Update: Replace
    Default Qualified Update: Replace
    Default Matching Qualifiers: None
    Our record matching is: Create / Update(ALL MAPPED FIELDS) / Update(ALL MAPPED FIELDS)
    When the map is reused, the repeating nodes are all recognized, be it one node or many. However, when the map is reused, it does not automatically map the values for many of the Partner fields (nor the compound field) though the fields are correctly mapped.
    Also, when we attempt to use Import Server to automate the mapping, we use the mdis.ini set to
    Automap Unmapped Value=True
    Unmapped Value Handling=Add
    Always Use Unmapped Value Handling=False
    We get a very strange error saying that :
    [code]Encountered a pre-SP4 map. The map needs to be upgraded to SP4.
    Solution: Please, Launch the Import Manager GUI using the same source file and simply save the map.[code]
    Could it be that our MDM 5.5 SP4 is not compatible with schemas generated with XI v.7 SP9?
    All of our MDM is 5.5 SP4. It makes no sense that we would get THIS kind of error. Also, I am questioning our combination of these and other configurations since it doesn't always seem to do what it should

    Hi Donald,
    this sounds good so far. Just a short hint: you've set "Default Qualified Update: Replace". This explains why Import server "appears to overwrite EVERYthing
    with NULL other than these two fields.". The reason is the replace. A replace means that the old values are completely deleted and only the new incoming ones are stored. I'd suggest to use any of the Update possibilities.
    Note: the definitions you set in in the record matching step are mainly for the new records in the main table! Records in qualified look ups are handled differently! If you open your map in Import Manager, switch to tab "Map Fields/Values". Select a field that is your non qualifier. Right-Click on it and choose "Set qualified update" from the context menu. Now you can define which qualifiers can be used for the qualified look up matching. And you can define as well what should happen with new and/or existing records.
    Regarding the value mapping: do you use keymapping? Or do you use simple values only? Do you save the map everytime you add a new value mapping?
    Regarding the issue "Encountered a pre-SP4 map. The map needs to be upgraded to SP4. Solution: Please, Launch the Import Manager GUI using the same source file and simply save the map". This sounds very likely like a bug in MDIS and should be reported to SAP!
    Hope that helps
    Michael

  • JDEV 11 r1 Returning from page opened as dialog , give errors

    I have some problems when we call pages as dialogs.
    When I return from dialog i have strange validation errors (Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key[100 ].)
    this happens when the same view object is used from both pages.
    You can see detailed description in
    [http://adfbugs.blogspot.com/2009/07/adf-return-from-dialog-dialog-bug.html]
    Anyone else has the same problem?
    Is this a bug?
    Is there a workaround?

    Hi,
    you need to refresh the calling page (re-execute the VO query) if you perform changes to the VO in the dialog. Otherwise the view and the model are out of synch.

  • Pacman : returning error 16 from alpm_db_update

    Recently, yaourt behave oddly on my homeserver, outputting some truncated errors messages as if they were answers from a regex search. Long story short, I tried to fix the problem but did not yet succeeded, so maybe someone here will help me.
    What I tried :
    Use pacman instead of yaourt -> gave me a full error message "opening /var/lib/pacman/sync/core/dhcpcd-5.1.3-1/depends failed : No file or directory" . I am not sure the problem is package-related since I uninstalled and reinstalled it.
    Moreover when I tried pacman with -Scc and -Syy I had an error message about the core database. Then, with -Syu and --debug option, I had this:
