Strange error when running initialize_services.sh

Hi,
I have just installed my app on my MDEX6 (VM). The install uses all the default ports and mdex6 for a host name. I copied over my app and went to the control directory and started by executing the ./initialize_services.sh script. Everything hums along nicely but all of the sudden I get this (near the end?)

When I check the log the only error I see is not really all that useful. The error says --
/bin/sh: /usr/local/endeca/PlatformServices/6.1.0/perl/bin/perl: not found
I thought perhaps it was PERL that was missing, but it isn't. My OS is Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Server.
Can anyone help?

Hey Dave,
You are correct in that I don't TECHNICALLY need web studio for my implementation as it is a Latitude project. I don't like the idea of just turning it off, but I did as you suggested to move the ball forward. In the AppConfig.xml I set the flag for webStudioEnabled to false. That allowed me to get past the initialize_services script and the load_baseline_data scripts, but when I run a baseline_update, I get a similar error --

The log file does contain something a little more useful this time though --

I checked in /usr/local/endeca/PlatformServices/6.1.0/perl/lib/5.8.3 and I do see the strict.pm file there so I'm not sure I understand what the issue is.
