Thanks very mutch.
Thank you!
It helped but now i received another error:
Looks the same, but the first line is:
The following error was generated when "$error.Clear(); initialize-ExchangeConfigurationPermisssion -DomainController $RoleDomainController
I tried running /PrepareDomain
It was successfully but this error keeps coming.
* The might been another error regarding to the domain before i run /PrepareDomain that solved.
So you were able to install Exchange Server 2010 without anymore issue?

Exchange 2010 EMC and EMS errors - BLOCKED by software restriction
EMC has this message:
Initialization failed "Execution calling 'GetSteppablePipeline" with "1" arguement: File D:\program files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\RemoteScripts\ConsoleInitialize.ps1 cannot be loaded because its execution is blocked
by software restriction policies"
EMS has this error:
"There were errors in loading the format data file: D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange 2010\V14\Bin\exchange.format.ps1x
ml, , D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange 2010\V14\Bin\exchange.format.ps1xml : File skipped because of the following validation exception: File D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange 2010\V14\Bin\exchange.format.ps1xml cannot be loaded because its execution is
blocked by software restriction policies. For more information, contact your system administrator."
All other powershell scripts work just fine. It is not the execution policy. That is set properly. Authenticode returns valid on the files. There are no settings it GPO to control or cause this. Email working fine. It just started
after a reboot for updates. Any other thoughts before I spend $500 for a call?

Update Rollup 4 v2 for Exchange Server 2010 SP2
Thank youThe long and short of it was Microsoft Certificates didn't update and were expired. I was not given a reason why this happened but the final solution after Microsoft spent 2 weeks on this was to first reinstall Exchange Service Pack 3, reboot. Install
update rollup 8, and reboot. This fixed the EMC but not the shell. Then they reinstalled the rollup 8 again and one more reboot. Everything now works. I'd say with all the other little tweaks they looked at as possible suspect and "other
things" they fixed in their efforts to solve this, I defiantly got my money's worth. Despite not really knowing what really caused the issue in the first place -
Outlook 2013, Exchange 2010 error with Rules and Alerts
Hello,
I was recently informed by a user that when they open Outlook 2013 and click Manage Rules and Alerts, they get the following message:
By the way, NO Microsoft, this information is not helpful. Anyways, I found that the same problem is happening in my Outlook as well. I do not believe it is happening to all users' accounts, and I am able to set up Rules within Outlook Web Access,
so it seems to be some local setting. I found a lot of forums suggest running the Outlook /cleanrules switch, and this did not fix the problem. Other suggestions are to delete the profile on the computer and/or uninstall outlook and reinstall it.
I don't like these solutions, as they don't point to the true source of the problem and do nothing to help avoid this problem in the future. Has anybody else had this problem and been able to fix it? We are running Exchange 2010 in our environment,
although not sure if that makes a difference or not. Any answers that do not suggest the things I have already mentioned would be greatly appreciated!Hi,
For this issue, I recommend you ask in Office forum which is staffed by more experts specializing in this kind of problems. You might get better help there.

PF DB is arounf 90 GB with alot of public folders and sub-folders. around 60 mail PF and too many subfolders.First and the most important thing you need to do is, upgrade exchange 2010 to SP2 and RU5.
Exchange 2010 RTM support is long gone.

Hi...
Our company is running Exchange Server 2010 SP3 Standart would like to have Shared calendar with organisation running with Exchange online.
We made a Federation trust between organisations and I checked that one certificate was installed and the rule for their domain was created. but when I try to share my calendar I always receive.
"Calendar sharing is not available with the following contacts because of permission settings on your network."
Name I took from GAL or input manually and always same. Forgot to mention that we migrated from Exchange 2003 to 2010 SP3 and all old exchange servers I removed. I tried everything that I know and read and nothing helped.
Hope for your support.
Thank you.1)I deleted everything and made step by step as indicated in your articles.

Hi Guys,
I've a strange and mysterious Traffic dropping all the network caused by one of the HUB\CAS servers.
We have Exchange 2010 Environment 2 DAG Members and 2 HUB\CAS Servers we are using WNLB as a load-balancing Solution.
We have two physical hosts and we virtualized the all servers mailbox and HUB\CAS
MBX-01 -- HUB-CAS-01 on HV1
MBX-02 -- HUB-CAS-02 on HV2
When Both servers are up strange traffic begin and all telephony system "Avaia" go down.
I've disabled the replication on the MAPI network on both DAG members to ensure that the replication traffic goes throw the private network and changed the mode of NLB " Multicast and then Unicast" and nothing changed any ideas.
All servers running Exchange 2010 SP3.
Thanks
Best Regards
Mohamed AttiaHi,
Based on the description, you used WNLB as a load-balancing Solution, however, it is recommended to use the HLB instead in the production environment.
From the "Network requirements" topic in the article
Planning for High Availability and Site Resilience, DAG must have a single MAPI network, which is used by a DAG member to communicate with other servers (for example, other Exchange 2013 servers or directory servers), and zero or more Replication networks,
which are networks dedicated to log shipping and seeding.
So nothing changed, even though you disabled the replication on the MAPI network on both DAG members. It is the expected behavior.
Do you connect the telephony system "Avaia" to an Unified Messaging server?
Best regards,
Belinda

Hi all,
4 Exchange Servers (2 DB + 2 CAS NLB Cluster) all Exchange 2010 SP1
Outlook work fine.
If I delete a message in OWA i became the following errors:

Fehler: MapiExceptionNetworkError: Unable to make connection to the server. (hr=0x80040115, ec=-2147221227)
Before SP1 it worked fine.
Can somebody help me ?
Kind regards AndyHi,
First, I would like to confirm the following questions:
1. Does the issue occur on certain user mailbox via OWA or each user mailbox?
2. Which OWA folder’s email cannot be deleted, Inbox, Sent Items or each folder?
3. Which version of operating system is installed on the client machine, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7?
At this stage, I suggest you temporarily disable firewall and anti-spam for a test. If the emails still cannot be removed via OWA, please refer to the following article
and use isinteg tool to check and repair Information Store.
Description of the Isinteg utility
Thanks.

Installing SP3 on Exchange 2010 - Error
Hi,
I'm getting an error message when trying to install SP3 on Exchange 2010.
I am currently running: Exchange 2010 SP1 - Windows Server 2008 Ent. 2 nodes, DAG
"The server side error is: 0x21a2 The FSMO role ownership could not be verified because its directory partition has not replicated successfully with at least one replication partner."
So I ran dcdiag, and sure enough I get a replication error, several of them actually:
"The failure occurred at 2014-02-11 13:54:23.
The last success occurred at 2013-05-30 00:51:00.
32 failures have occurred since the last success.
[Replications Check,EXCHANGE2010] A recent replication attempt failed:
From EXCHANGE2010-2 to EXCHANGE2010
Naming Context: CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=mydomainname,DC=lcl
The replication generated an error (8614):
The directory service cannot replicate with this server because the time since the last replication with thi
s server has exceeded the tombstone lifetime."
The thing I'm not understanding is this: When I check the EMC looking at the DAG tab, it looks as though everything with the DAG is fine. Also, when I check the Organization Config->Mailbox, both copies of the Database seem to be Healthy.
So, I guess what I'm asking is what can be causing this error message and what steps can I take to try to fix it? I'm not an expert at this, which I guess is clear since I'm posting here!
Thanks,
mikeThanks DarDevil,
Before you replied I came across an article that suggested I could force a replication.
So I ran the command they listed: ‘repadmin /syncall /AeD
It seemed to have worked, as I am now able to install SP3, which was the thing I was trying to do all along. I'm testing SP3 on this test system before I install on production.
Any particular reason not to run the force replication command above? Before running the command, I put in a registry key that would allow it according to another article I read. I have since removed the key.
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NTDS\Parameters\Allow Replication With Divergent and Corrupt Partner
Thanks! -
I have a DAG environment with Exchange 2010. last week I moved from sp2 RU6 to sp3 rtm. I then manually installed RU6 for sp3. the correct verison numbers are being displayed in the EMC under Help>About Exchange Server 2010 (it shows version 14.03.0195.001) I
verified the version numbers on this site -
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/240.exchange-server-and-update-rollups-build-numbers.aspx
My question is, in WSUS, it shows that all my servers with exchange on them, (a management server with the EMC only, 2 exchange servers for the DB, a CAS server and a DR exchange server) need SP3 RU2.
1) Will this disrupt the current SP3 RU6 installation?
2) Would it be better to just decline the SP3 RU2 update in WSUS?
3)Should I just proceed with the installation and see what happens?
If I am on the wrong forum, please let me know.
thanks
Ian
IanHi
I prefer doing rollups by downloading the file and installing it on the server from an elevated prompt.
Deploying it with WSUS always leaves room for error.
Rather manually download the file and plan the installation.
Hope this helps. Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. -
Exchange 2010 - Error setting a new transport rule for email disclaimer
Hi
Trying to setup some additional email disclaimer rules on Hub transport under Org Config on exchange 2010. We allready have a few and they work ok, however we are trying to replace this woth some alternate ones and are getting the error
The length of the property is too long. the maximum length is 8192 and the length of the value provided is 8522.
Most of this length comes from the html code we are inserting into the disclaimer. I've reduced it by about as much as i can but it's still too large. Does anybody have any suggestions or know if it;s possible to increase the 8192 sixze limit ?
Regards
RogerHi Roger,
For AD replication packet the ideal size is 8K. Or the above error may occur due to build/design issues.
You can eliminate this size related issue by splitting the large rule into multiple rules. This size limit is Per Rule and does not add up for all rules. -
EXCHANGE 2010 (cfexchange and IMAP)
First, let me say that I would have loved if this post was about how I was working with cfexchange and Exchange Server 2010, but its not, because cfexchange does not work with Exchange 2010 and never has. See Bug report 82576 and vote!
Now, since I was not able to use cfexchange, I wrote an email parsing script using CFIMAP that was working until recently. About the same time, I upgraded Exchange to SP1, I also upgraded CF9 to CF9.01. Now, I am unable to use the GETHEADERSONLY or GETALL actions of CFIMAP. I consistently get the following error:
The cause of this exception was: javax.mail.MessagingException: Unable to load BODYSTRUCTURE.
Does anyone else have a similar environment to test to see if CF9 or 9.01 works with CFIMAP on Exchange 2010 SP1? Your input would be much appreciated.
--SeanI know this is an old question, but perhaps this will help someone else down the line... I've run into this problem when accessing GMail using CFIMAP.
The problem is caused by messages that have other messages attached as files. In GMail, these get converted to "noname.eml" attachments that can only be opened if you download them.
You can confirm this by quarantining all of the inbox files in a separate folder, moving only a couple known-attachment-free messages into the inbox and re-running your script.
Once you remove all messages that have other messages attached, you should have no more trouble -
Exchange 2010 DAG and NIC Teaming | Team broke and now cluster doesn't see the box
Hello everyone,
Question for the group. We are running an Exchange 2010 DAG cluster with four boxes with active/passive DB's on each of the four boxes. We run HP boxes for Exchange and the NIC's are teamed. Now mind you, I arrived at this company well after this environment
was set up so I have inherited everything here.
What has happened is one of the four boxes had an issue after an otherwise normal reboot. We could no longer ping it. Logged into the ILO and was able to log into the server, only to discover its team NIC was messed up and our only option was to rebuild
the team NIC. So I rebuilt the team and gave it the original IP/subnet/gateway it had. The server reboots and we can ping it.
However, when I look in the EMC at Database Management, all the passive copies that were on that DB are showing Failed. Ok, so I suspend the copy and attempt to reseed. No luck. I get the error "The NetworkManager has not yet been initialized"
and it references my machine which had the bad team NIC. Curious, I go look at my Failover Cluster Manager.
Looking at the fail over cluster manager, I notice a X on the cluster and I am showing my server which had the bad team NIC being listed as down. I attempted to start the cluster service for the machine, but it did not work.
Is there something I a missing? What are my exact steps to take to get my cluster configuration working correctly again and see my box? Do I need to remove the box from the DAG, evict it from the cluster, and rejoin it again? If so, can I do this without
affecting the other three machines so users don't notice any outage?
Thanks for any help you can give!Hi Kyle,
I am Chetan Savade from Symantec Technical Support Team & sorry to know the problem you faced because of SEP.
Symantec recommends that the Exchange server's OS always be protected by the latest available release of SEP. The Exchange server's message flow and Information Store must be protected by a dedicated mail security product, such as Symantec
Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange.
For cluster environment I would recommend to follow this article:

Hi all,
i have a problem with Q10 phone, sync with Exchange 2010 with activesync (not BES) all seem ok but unable to download attach.
When press "download" didnt start. Unable also to forward same message but i think is a chainde problem.
Same message from desktop (outlook) or OWA is ok and attach downloadable.
This is the only Q10 present in company for test so i cannot compare to others BB.
All other users connected to the exchaneg server have iphone & ipad no issue result. Email service seem ok also for desktop.
Firmware was updateted about 10 day ago.
Any idea for me?
ThanksHi marcottt,
Could you provide more detail please so I can better assist?
Do you have this issue with all attachment types? If not, what type of attachment are you having this issue with and what size is the attachment?
What happens when you try to forward the message? Is any error received?
Does removing and re-adding the email account make any difference?
I look forward to your response.

First, please make sure the account have these required permissions: Organization Management and Recipient Management.
Please check on your account in AD under advanced settings if the checkbox "Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent" is checked as this can cause problems when you perform Exchange tasks.
Have you tried to execute the Setup /PrepareAD command to check the result? This command will run the Forest Prep and Domain Prep for Exchange Environment and will re-add all the permissions to the Forest and Domain.
If no, it's worth to try it.
If the issue persists, to narrow down the issue, I need to clarify one thing.
Did you install Exchange 2010 using the split permissions model?
For the split permissions model, please refer to:
Understanding Split Permissions
