Strange font issue. Fonts other than my default fonts set in preferences are being used. How can this be fixed?

Fonts that should be showing up as Helvetica are showing up as Wubble. In my preferences/content I have my Proportional: Serif; Serif: Times; Sans-Serif: Helvetica; and Monospace: Courier. Everything was fine until I upgraded to 6.

For newer cameras, you can use the free Adobe DNGconverter to batch convert a folder into the DNG raw format that PSE10 can read and edit.

When trying to print a page such as a bank statement, Firefox 18 now prints in a large font size so that information does not fit on the page (A4). Previously, there was no problem and the information printed out exactly as on the screen. When printing from Google Chrome there is no problem. In previous versions of Firefox there was no problem. What has changed and how can it be corrected?

Try to adjust the print scale: File > Page Setup > "Format & Options": Scale (unselect: "Shrink to fit page width")

If Allen's suggestion doesn't lead to the solution and you have trouble reading what's on screen, you can always zoom in and out. On the Mac, this is made very easy:
On your keyboard, scroll up and down with your mouse while keeping the [ctrl]-key pressed on your keyboard.
If this doesn't work, you might need to enable this feature first.
To that purpose: go to: “ apple menu> System Preferences > Accessibility” (if your language is not English and you’re confused about this, it’s on the fourth row and looks like a blue roadsign with a white person in it)
Once there, find “Zooming” in the left column and click on it.
Find the checkbox in front of “Use scroll gesture with modifier keys to zoom:”
Below that, it should say

When I visit a website that has a .pdf file on it and I try to download the file, rather than opening up to be read, Firefox asks where it should be saved. It does not directly open the file for viewing as it had done last week. Thanks for any advice to address this problem.

I finally found the right fix in the reset section of Check Firefox settings. I clicked on "Help" and clicked on "Troubleshooting Information". Under "Application Basics", I clicked on "Open Containing Folder". A window with my profile files opened. I selected the "mimetypes.rdf" file and deleted it. I then closed the Mozilla program, rebooted my computer and then reopened Mozilla Firefox. Voila - It returned "Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)" in my settings. All is well.

I'm trying to write an email and import files that are in other emails I've been sent. Some are attachments. How can I do this?

I'm new to the mac world and would like to know how to compose an email including information from emails I've received. I want to forward the contents of three emails to my a new email I'm composing. One email has attachments and the others have typed info. I know I can copy/paste but I'm not sure about the attachments. Is it best to open them and copy them to the email?

Save those attachments > Default location is the Downloads Folder.

I am having issues with my iPhoto application. Anytime I connect my camera to my computer and try to import the photos, iPhoto crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but still no luck. How can this be fixed?

I have read other posts similiar to my problem to try those solutions such as searching for 3ivx add-on but it was not found on my computer. Not sure how to get iPhoto to start working again.

I import photos and the last time I imported photos was in November. Just recently I've tried importing photos again, with the same camera to the same version of iPhoto by connecting my camera and when I click "import" the program freezes and closes. After iPhoto closed the first time I thought that it was just an update that it needed so I updated iPhoto to the latest version. The same problem with importing is still occuring.

The LMS has no control over the playbar that pauses or plays the Captivate content.
In a Multi SCORM package, the LMS also may be showing a TOC in the SCORM player with links to launch the lesson modules. This TOC is in addition to the TOC inside the Captivate project file which gives access to sections of the module by jumping to slides that begin those sections. But the LMS doesn't usually give you any control over the look and feel or functionality of that TOC either.
If your client is adamant that they want complete control over these areas, then your best option may be NOT to build this course with Captivate but build it from the ground up with another tool. E.g. Flash, or Dreamweaver. Either way, that will add a lot more time and expense to the project. But if the client has the budget and is unwilling to budge on their requirement, then that's what I would be telling them to do.

Thank you for your detailed question. It sounds like the real issue is pdf files. Are there any antivirus/firewalls that might be blocking this specific file type? or are there any preferences in your control panel that might be blocking this?
Do you have any stored preferences for PDF files in Firefox?

It states under 'Adapter Configuration', that you can specify the Adapter Engine you want to use in the Adapter Engine dropdown box.
I have activated the XI components on my ERP system using transaction SICF, but what do I have to do to make the other adapter engines show up in the dropdown list when configuring an adapter?
Maybe some background would be helpful: This is for a scenario that will send a file from an external system to one of the ERP systems in our landscape. BUT, the system admins have decided to revoke our FTP accounts (because they have their reasons), so I need to create a File Adapter that will drop the file on the file system of that ERP system, due to visibility I want to use the integrated Adapter Engine that comes with the ERP system, but need to know how/what I'm missing in setting up this scenario.

in order to use some other adapter engine you
have to install it first by dafault only one
(central) adapter engine is used and it is all
most clients need
if you'd like to use some other adapter engine

Deploying Crystal Reports 2008 on a website other than the default website

Hi,
We have an ASP.NET 2003 web application using CR 2008 as reporting tool.
To deploy the application, we are using the CR 2008 mergemodules.
If the application is installed into the default website, this works fine, but if another website is selected, the mergemodule still installs CR 2008 to the default website.
To overcome this problem, the crystalreportviewers12 virtual directory has to be created in the selected website.
But if the application is installed directly into the website, and not into a virtual directory of the website, problems occur, like images not showing up.
I would like to know if there exists documentation regarding deployment into websites, other than the default website and what configurations have to be done to make it work.
