Strange Mail - Mobile Me Issue

Folks;
I've had Mail handling my email for MobileMe for quite a long time.
Today it suddenly started exhibiting a strange behavior.
I can send but the email does not show up in 'Sent'.
I have the account settings to never delete sent email.
If I send using the web interface it shows in the 'Sent' on the web interface but not in the Mail client.
I see messages in the web 'Sent' that do not appear in the Mail client
(No messages appear in the Mail client - Sent')
What the heck is going on?

now messages seem to be arriving with no content, wrong headers and content put on existing messages. everything seems fine on my computer, iphone is just acting strangely. should i delete the account on the phone and recreate it? thanks again!

Strange mail/mobile me behavior (-1 indicator)

my phone is showing a -1 mail indicator and my inbox now shows inbox (429*****) as a header instead of just inbox. has anyone else had this happen and know how to fix this? everything seems to be working ok, sending, receiving, etc... thanks for any help.

MAJOR Mail - Mobile Me Issues

For no reason, yesterday afternoon all **** broke loose in Mail. I have a MobileMe account that I've been using for quite a long time and it doesn't send anymore and doesn't receive either. It keeps on bringing back an old draft from last week that I've deleted.
A whole bunch of sent messages that I've deleted have come back as well and everytime I delete them now they keep reappearing.
I've cleared everything directly on MobileMe server and deleted my preferences in User/Me/Library as well as the Draft, Deleted, Sent and Inbox mailboxes in the same folder.
Everytime I restart Mail and either try sending or receiving, it starts spinning as if it was sending or receiving (depending on which one I'm trying to do) but it just hangs there forever and doesn't stop.
When I quit it or it times out I get the following message:
"Some actions taken while the account "My MobileMe Account" was offline could not be completed online. Amil has undone actions on some messages so that you can redo the actions while online. Additional informations: Operation could not be completed. (MFMessageErrorDomain error 1028.)

Strange MAIL and SAFARI issue

I've never encountered this before, but my iMac can't seem to "remember" that my specified default mail client is "Mail" and my default web browser is "Safari". Even after I set them up in the Preference window, when I relaunch "Mail" the default mail client selection reads: "No applications found." and the default browser that shows up is "Opera" (which I have loaded on, but I hardly use it!
I'm running an iMac G4 FP and Mac OSX 10.4.8
Anyone have any thoughts on how I can fix this?

Sounds like your LaunchServices are all messed up. I believe that OnyX has a rebuild LaunchServices function. Did you try it? There are also cache files that can be removed:
"/Library/Caches/com.apple.LaunchServices-0140.csstore"
"/Library/Caches/com.apple.LaunchServices-014501.csstore"
plus your personal over-rides in this plist file:
"/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/com.apple.LaunchServices.plist"
If you remove the above files and restart you should be taken back to the default state of the system. If you aren't and you may need to rebuild the LaunchServices database from the command line:

I was provided with PDF of contacts but there is no specific contact e-mail for my issue, plus cannot get though to customer support, as usual. The telephone number 0116227746 does not exist. The other links provided on PDF just lead to the same pages I tired before. Still cannot locate e-mail contact address for support issue.
I have a copy of Photoshop CS and Dreamwaver CS3 that I want to sell they are both registered in my name and I want to sell them to allow the buyer to register in his name. I realize that I will have to deactivate the software, however, as I cannot get throght to Adobe (UK) will this prove problematic. It seems there is no e-mail contact for any support in the UK.

How can i cancel a strange mail?

How can i cancel a strange mail that arrived to me? It is empty without object. The mail program doesn't permit mebto cancel and to move it.

Just in case the email is bona fide but there has been a malfunction it is worth doing a Reset first. [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!
If there is no change then just try to delete it. The reset should enable this to be done.

TS3276 All accounts keep going off line, quitting Mail fixes the issue

All accounts keep going off line, quitting Mail fixes the issue.
I have 3 Gmail, 1 hotmail and a yahoo. Al go off line with a little alert symbol next to them.
If I select take all accounts on line nothing happens.
Email delivery stops.
To fix this, I quit Mail and re launch it. That fixes it.
It's realy annoying.
Any ideas?

I have the same problem - it started when I upgraded to OS X 10.8
I thought subsequent releases may help, but I'm now on 10.8.2 and no joy.

Google Mail (Gmail) Sync Issues

After I put my computer into sleep, then wake it up, Mail stops syncing or retrieving new mail from Gmail server. Am I the only one who's having this problem? I tried deleting the account and logging in again, but it didn't change anything.
Any solutions? Thank you!

FWIW, this problem happens for me in Mavericks (10.9.5) too. It seemed like there was a point release or two where the problem seemed fixed, but it's definitely back in 10.9.5. I had hoped that Yosemite would address the issue. (I'm waiting a while until upgrading my main Mac.) The easiest solution that works for me is to quit Mail and open it again.
Out of curiosity, do you switch between Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks often while Mail is open? One of my unfounded speculations is that the frequent network switching I do "breaks" Mail's IMAP updates with Gmail. It'd be great if someone with more time than me logged the IMAP transactions between Mail and Gmail to see if this issue is a Mail or Gmail issue because iCloud IMAP (Oracle) seems to update fine…

Is Mail still "spinning"? If it's been doing that for a while, I'd kill it, using either Activity Monitor or the OS X application picker. Then relaunch Mail and see what happens.
Two "by the ways":
1) Your system details mention an PPC iMac. Since a non-Intel Mac can't run OS X 10.6, you seem to have another Mac. You might want to consider updating your system details.
2) You seem to have been misled by the poor labeling of the message composition fields on this forum into trying to enter your entire post into the "subject" field. In the future, just enter a summary of your post there and the main text into the field below it.

10.7 Mail and exchange issues after time machine restore

Trying to figure out what the problem is with mail
Background
- was running 10.7.1
- had mail configured with exchange no issues what so ever.
- hard drive failed and I restored with time machine using the recovery hd partition in Lion
- mail started having issues
Issues
- mail doesn't push over. It check on the default 5 minute increment
- mail stop working
- folders don't update
- have to restart mail
- mail redownloads all the message again
what i have tired
- disk utility - single user mode
- removing the mail folder ~/Library/Mail
- removing the mail preferences in ~/Library/Preferences
- recreating all mail account by deleting the above. Works for a bit then has the same issue the longer mail is open.
any help would be appreciated.

As per my understanding, workflow need to be defined for the same.

in eBusiness Suite the workflow are already defined you need to request your dba to setup the email server (SMTP i am not sure) integrated to your apps instance so that you can get your notification via email..
If you need to approve from your email directly then you need to customize your workflow

Iweb and I think mobile me issues

Several problems seems to plague my website in both Iweb, and on the live site.
In Iweb:
Regularly the program crashes
If I select the Albums page on the left pane it displays links of my welcome page and empty album frames.
If I go to one of the specific page (beyond the 3rd one) from the Album, I get (same as above) a page with a list of links from my welcome page and empty picture frames.
One of the pages had GPS routes upload-able from Google Earth, that page is also gone (same as above)
On the live published site:
All the albums previously publish do not appear anymore
The page with GPS route also gone
The only glimmer of hope that I have re. this problem is that when I log in to Mobile Me, idisk\Web\Sites\Site, the actual site appears to be intact including media files and all. This is why I believe that the Iweb problem is related to some kind of Mobile Me issue.
Suggestions would be appreciated, as I have spent countless hours building the website,

If restarting did not resolve the issue, open Mail Preferences and make sure the box next to "Play sounds for other mail actions" is checked.

Multiple Mobil.me mail accounts - synch issue

Have a home/work mac pro with 10.5.6. Have mobil.me family pak with 5 e-mail accounts. Three for me. I had synched my main Mobil.me mail account on my iphone....all well and dandy, working fine for months.
I added and synched two additional mobil.me mail accounts to my iphone, but on my iphone I don't get the apple mail "Notes" (under REMINDERS) for those accounts - like I do with my main (original and already synching very well) mobil.me account.
Not sure if (or where) I've missed a setting, or whatnot, but I believed all those items under reminders for my new accounts should be showing up on my iphone under those individual accounts.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or insights would be appreciated !

Setup the second Exchange account in one profile would always keep prompting usernam/password. This is limitation of Outlook profile.
