Strange message keeps popping up on Safari

Hi folks,
I keep getting a message popping up saying:
There is no application set to open the URL httpss://b3-uk.mookie1.com/2/Radium_One/Volvo/Activation_Q2_2014/WRAPS/0414/1$1 401900025465@X50?.
I haven't the faintest idea what this is, I haven't ever tried to open that URL. The popup appears every few minutes every time I browse the web. Does anyone any suggestions as to how to get rid of it? (I've tried quitting and restarting Safari and rebooting the computer, but can't think of anything else!)
Many thanks for any help you're able to give.
-Kitty

OK, note "accessory" not "application" ... You get this message when you plug the iPhone into some device, usually made to work with iPods but not iPhones. Such combinations may cause extraneous radio interference, so it invites you to switch to airplane mode when using it.
Now, if you are getting the message without plugging into anything, that is an error ... it could be a bit of dust in the connector or something ...

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
    ... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

  • Message keeps popping up PLEASE HELP!!

Hi, I tried to send a message with a pdf attached and the file was too big to send. Now a message keeps popping up that says:
""Some actions taken while the account “Gmail” was offline could not be completed online.
Mail has undone actions on some messages so that you can redo the actions while online. Mail has saved other messages in mailbox “On My Mac” in “On My Mac” so that you can complete the actions while online.
Additional information: The IMAP command “APPEND” (to Sent Messages) failed with server error: Could not parse command.""
All the messages are being put in my sent folder and are marked as unread. I've given up deleting them as they keep coming. The message pops up about every minute or so. Im lost on what to do about this. I've tried quitting mail, restarting my computer but they keep coming. Also, when I try to shut down my computer or log out it wont unless I force quit mail.
    PLEASE HELP!!

I was having the same problem, and found this on a related thread. It worked for me.
    1. Quit Apple Mail. It cannot be running for this procedure.
    2. Click the Finder icon in your Dock. This will open a new file browser window.
    3. Go to the Library folder.
    4. Go to the Mail folder.
    5. Find the folder named [email protected] [email protected] should be the email address that you are having problems with.
    6. Move this folder to another location on your hard drive. Do not delete this folder in case there is a problem and you need to restore it.
    7. Open Apple Mail and it will now re-download all email from the IMAP server and rebuild your IMAP cache. This can take a while depending on how much mail is in your account.
This means that the problem was likely not with Gmail, but probably with the IMAP cache.

There's probably some debris in the docking port. Try cleaning it out with some canned air.

a message has popped  up in safari saying we have won a prize cant get rid of it

Try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
Then when the iPad has restarted clear Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data (Clear Cache on iOS 4) and also Clear History
You could also close Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

Clip for trailer won't load, regardless of the size the error message keeps popping up, "That clip is not long enough. Choose a longer clip for this part of the trailer."

    I got it out!
    Here is how.
None of the Apple-suggested ways worked. However, before totally giving up I started Roxio Popcorn and pressed the big eject button on it. It came out effortlessly!
    So, I thought "Weird..."
I put the CD back in and reproduced my original problem. I got it out just as easily using Roxio Popcorn Eject feature.
So, I then thought "Maybe it is the disk?" There is nothing wrong with the disk as far as I can tell. It is perfectly round, has a smooth label-side surface. It is not even a label, it is a standard software install disk you buy in stores.
I inserted a different disk. The mini mounted it, I browsed it, and then ejected it by dragging it to trash. Worked fine.
I tried a few other disks.
The drive seems to work fine.
Maybe that CD is cursed, I dunno. I tried that disk in my PowerBook and it works fine there.
    Who knows ?
I am still backing up my hard drive as I type this message in case I need to take it to the store.

  • This message keeps popping up at the top of the page: "Hey, this is important: We don't have a password recovery email address or phone number for your account. If you lose access, we may not be able to help you. Add info now |Dismiss" How do I stop it?

I have provided the information asked for but the message keeps popping up.

Doesn't sound like that message is coming from Firefox, Mozilla wouldn't need a phone number for anything. Firefox does use an email address for the Firefox Sync feature, but not a phone number - the Sync feature is automated.
Please provide a screenshot of that message, including the URL of the website where that happens. <br />

  • Iphone 6 "other errors" message keep popping out

Hi, my phone keep getting this error and it keep pops up randomly and i will have to press the "dismiss" button every time it pops up. This message does not give me any details on what errors i'm having with my phone and I have no idea what causing it since I only purchase my phone recently and updated to 8.1.2. Is there any available fix?  Please help. Thank you.

This is an overview of what data is being stored in that section:
Note the category at the end called "Other." What is "Other?" iTunes has 8 standard data categories listed in the Data Bar of iTunes. They are called Apps, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Books, Photos, and Info. Basically, anything stored on your iDevice that cannot fit into one of those 8 categories is categorized as "Other." This includes:
    Browser cache
    Mail cache
    Mail messages
    Mail attachments
    Safari's Reading List
    iTunes Backups
Crud resulting from jailbreaking your iDevice
    Game data
    Saved data files
    Call history
    Notes
    Media
    Voice memos
copied from What is "Other" and What Can I Do About It?
So, if your backup contained such data, it will be moved again to this location on the new phone after you restored it from the backup. In addition to that, something else must be going on with your data, because the section is expanding, as you said earlier. This looks like something is being processed over and over again, without any outcome. Did you check the usage and the apps listed in Settings/General/Usage and see if any of the apps listed is almost constantly using the battery?
