Strange occurrence caused by HTML for head

Hello,
Whenever I put text in the HTML for <head> section on the page properties page of let's say the index page, it causes the page to shift down about 5 mm while the other pages stay exactly where they are. I can't seem to figure out why a mere meta text is causing this and it's quite annoying as it causes the pages to shift up and down while navigating.
Does anyone know why this happens?
In the meantime I've created a workaround by adding the same text to the HTML for <head> sections off every single page which works. However it did cause the whole website to shift down aprox. 5 mm which I'd really prefer it not to do.

Hi, Do you know when the HTML for <head> will be ready? This is a real pain to have to update all of this again when you make a change to a page.

To enter HTML into the head section of a document:
Right-click(win) or ctrl+click (mac) on the page in Plan or Design view.
Coose Page Properties and click the Metadata button.
Enter your HTML in the HTML for <head> field.
Alternatively, when editing the page in Design view, you can access Page Properties from the Page menu.

Is GA the only HTML for analytics in Muse?

I am confused:
Is there a Muse or BC HTML for site analytics, or is GA from the Google Analytics site the only one? It seems as though I read that Muse would publish an HTML <head> but I can't find such a thing.
When GA is used in the <head>, is the same data published in both Muse Manage and also the GA site?

Hi Greg,
BC has its own analytic engine. However, muse being a designing software, doesn't come with any analytic engine. You can add google analytic or any other analytic code to the Muse site in "HTML for head" section available in Page properties > Meta data.

Use the concept of Events.
I am giving you one of my requirement to show date and title on the ALV report.
Here it is:
Add this event in your report.

Afraid I haven't seen that before. The only thing I could suggest is to boot from the 1st Install disk and run the hardware test. I would wonder about the video card. You might also post in the MacPro forum. I just got MY MacPro today, and the MacPro Forum is where I would go:

The only other thing I can think of is to launch Console from the Utilities folder and see if any errors are being reported.

WAAS causing extra prompts for credentials

Hi guys,
So when I install the WAAS mobile client onto one of our branch boxes it's causing extra prompts for credentials to pop up every few seconds. I read what I've pasted below already but our branch servers are running DNS and don't use IP's to communicate back to head office.
Has anyone had this issue and how was it fixed.

Are you running this on a Vista client? If so perhaps this release note applies:
CSCsy72308-In some deployments, Vista clients may occasionally be prompted for credentials by the domain controller. Workaround: Verify that the domain controller has been excluded from being accelerated.
One solution that would solve it is to simply bypass the the server in WAAS Mobile using the IP Exclusion List. If it is a domain controller it is likely that that is not a file server and therefore is not the primary need of optimization.

PDF or HTML for mobile Technical Documentation and Newsletters

I've been reviewing the pros and cons for PDF and HTML for mobile technical documentation and newsletters and wanted to get your honest thoughts on this.
Here's the scenario:
I need to create mobile technical documenation and newsletters that are interactive, i.e. video, commenting/annotating, links, forms, etc.
Given how the mobile publishing market is rapidly evolving, what is the most practical format, (with minimum format issues) to use for both short term and long term? PDF or HTML? Why?
Based on your choice, which format would you use for non-interactive documents that offers the most creative options and usability? Why?

Hyper Text Markup Language ( HTML ) is going to work better. Mainly because the way mobile is setup, the interface has to conform to the device and with the other elements coded into the interface, HTML is far better. You keep referring to usability, so even in non-interactive scenarios in mobile documentation, you're better off using HTML.

Contract net value for Header Statistics is not correct

There is issue with value contract. The net value for Header Statistics is not showing correctly for some contracts. Especially, when we delete the PO line items or reverse all entries (GR and IR) for PO line item.
Contract has one line with account category ‘U’. The target value is 300,000.00 and total quantity released to date is 160,000. The net value for Header Statistics should be 140,000 but it is showing 600,000 which is over (double) the target value and user cannot release any further PO reference to this contract.
Earlier I defined net price for line item 300,000 and I changed net price to zero and execute report RM06ENP0 but it doesn’t work.
Please share your experience and thoughts.

Hi Jurgen,
There are few Purchace orders with multiple line items and each line item for Purchase orders referencing the same line and same contract.
There is only one Purchase order has two deleted lines against this contract.
Theses deleted line's net price has changed to zero and there is no PO history.
Contract released order value is correct as there is only one line, but net price is wrong. and user is getting error for target value is excedeed by $nnn when trying to create purchase order.

EXIT_SAPMM06E_012 : Incoterms validation for header/item in a PO.

Hi,
I need to add validation to PO that :
The header level incoterm 1 and 2 and the items incoterm1 and 2 has to be populated by the user, for PO create(ME21n) and change (ME22n)
modes.
THe header level inocterm field validations were done in Change mode(ME22n) using the i_ekko in EXIT_SAPMM06E_012.
But i'm not able to do this, for the item level incorterms. I cant find which table holds the incoterm data for items.
Also, please let me know how to do it when the PO is in create mode. Can EXIT_SAPMM06E_012 be used?
and which internal table will have the inco terms for header and item data , when in create mode.

-- I had no problems with this error message until my computer was recently attacked by 2 viruses:

Both viruses have since been cleaned from my computer. However, I am still receiving this error message.
Here are my questions:
* What are the cause and fix for this problem?
* Do I need to uninstall and reinstall Firefox?
* Is it possible that this error message is related to an add-on and that it has nothing to do with the recent virus attacks?

How to disable html for whole swing application.

As we can disable html for individual swing components , for example JLabel
label.putClientProperty("html.disable",Boolean.TRUE);
BasicHTML.updateRenderer(label,"html.disable");
is there any way to disable html rendering in swing components for system wide / whole application?.

Wht is TEXT ID for Header Text in a Purc. Order?

Am looking to dispaly the header text of my_purchase order into a report, by using READ_TEXT.
But. am unable to figure out the TEXT ID for this HEADER TEXT for my_PO.
So,
1 - Wht is TEXT ID for it? ok, after some reasearch , i came to know that, its F01.......so, how to know the F01 is for header text? i know how to know this for sales order!!
2 - In which tables stiores all thsese info?

Rob's Suggestion is the best way to find that out.
One other way is to Double click on the Text area. This will open a text editor.
Then Navigate to Goto->Header. This should give you the required Info.

Line item for header material not updating in COEP table

Hi all,
from last few days, I found that when I do confirmation and GR for process order, system is updating all line ( i.e. components, activity types) but line for header material that is finished goods or semi finished goods is not updating in COEP table, I have done GR for order and transferred stock from quality too.
But still its not updating. What could be the reason for it .

Automatic Pricing for Header condition

Hello,
We have the following scenario.
For an specific Sales Order type we need to charge (surcharge or a fee) a fix $$ amount at the header level. This amount should be charged only if the total value of the order is less then a fixed $$ amount.
Also another condition is for a specific material group we need to charge a fix $$ amount and if this condition is selected then the other condition should not be selected.
Eg:
1) for all material with Material group AB we want to charge(via condition type) 100$ at the header level.
we want this automatically at the header.
2) For all Order type OR we want to charge(I will maintain a condition type) 200$ if the net value of that sales order is less then 5000$. This is not item specific but at the Order header level.
We dont want to manually enter the condition type (surcharge).
I know that for Header conditions we cannot have access sequence and condition records. Then how can the 100$ or 200$ charge condition type come automatically in the Sales Order if the total order value is less then 5000$.
I can have a requirement but what about the condition Record and the access sequence for the Order type or the material group?
Any Ideas?

hello, friend.
i have an hypothesis (which is merely a guess because i have not tried this recently), that it is possible to do this, but you have make your condition type both header and item, which means you get to assign an access sequence (enabling condition records). but you must also "tick" the "group condition" in the condition type so that even if this is entered at item level, this applies to the entire document and will be distributed to the items.
the group condition is supposed to be used for manually entered header conditions such as pallet discounts, and i think i might have done this for material groups, but do not recall if i've done this for order type or any other variable at one point. please do us a favor and test it, and post your findings.
