Strange prob

I am experiencing a strange problem with my Muvo TX FM and hoping someone can give me ideas for a solution. I have downloaded both music and voice(lectures) and keep them in seperate folders. Up until recently, all was fine. Now, my voice downloads playback with static and crackling. The music plays fine. I have played them over my pc, and they sound fine. I have switched the power unit with my son who has the same player, still does it. The downloads themselves are fine, I have checked them too. Any ideas?

Problem solved. Embarassed to say, but I looked to make sure the cables were connected, I thought I looked carefully. Apparently not, I must have been pulling them too tight..

So you are saying that you followed all of the steps in the support document for problems with connection, including removing and reinstalling iTunes? You do not say what you have tried, so it is hard to make recommendations. If this is the case, then you have tried resolving driver issues? What if you go to Device Manager and look for the iPhone. You should be able to click on it and see about drivers. You can update/reinstall the device driver.

Strange prob with calander

I m facing really strange prob with calendar --- it is showing all the days of the March 1st to 31st correct but on the top in place of month it is showing February 2008 instead of March 2008. How can Feb has 31 days. I hv checked all the other settings.
This is happening in every month i.e it is showing the previous months name.
PLS HELP.

The standard troubleshooting procedures for the phone are to power the phone off/on. If that doesn't correct the issue, then do a reset. This is accomplished by holding down the home buttong and the sleep/wake button until you see the Apple logo, then release the buttons. Ignore the slide to turn off message. If that does not correct the issue, then connect to iTunes and restore the phone.

Strange prob, can login only at the end of install, it fails after restart

I have this strange problem, i don't know where i'm making mistake.
I installed EBS more than 5 times, thought i have made some mistake with pre-installation requirement or post installation requireement, but every time i'm faced with the same problem.
My machine configuration is P4, 3.0GHz, Ram 1 GB, 240 GB HD. with RHEL4 installed. Have created dba usergroup and created user oracle and applmgr made them part of dba group.
I'm doing multi-user installation for Vision Demo data. Logged in as root.
i created a top level directory /sz1/oracle and changed the permission as chmod -R 777 /sz1/oracle
applied pre-installation patch 4198954 as root
verified other pre-installation requirements as per installation guide.
downloaded latest rapidwiz as per note p4159029.
Started installation as root
specified 'oracle' as owner for DATABASE
specified 'applmgr' as owner for APPLICATION
the installation completed with successfull checks on pre-installation requirements and post-installation checks.
After the completion of installation, i logged in from windows client using the path,
http://sri.shan.com:8001
i get the installer home page, i chose the application links and logged in to OAM as sysadmin, verified the status. found concurrent manager was not started.
started the concurrent manager manually by running the script sh adcmctl.sh as root. the service started successfully.
then i re-started the Linux box, logged in as root and tried to run the script adstrtal.sh like

i get the following error message, it is same in all 5 times of installation

when i tried to run these scripts individually,
all the scripts started successfully except adalnctl.sh failed
the error message is

Then i logged in as applmgr, i can run the script adstrtal.sh successfully
at this stage tried to login from windows client using following link,

I stuck at this stage and do not know how to proceed.
Verified the Jserv status as per the metalink note 204123.1, 230688.1. and 311932.1
I get the 'IsItworking' page and 'Hello' page with out any trouble.
When i checked the mod_jserv.log file(located at APPL_TOP/Apache/Jserv/logs)
i get the following data

Sound during games...very strange prob

I have a strange problem. When playing games I only hear sounds like gun fire, other characters speaking or general ambient sounds when I am not facing the sound source. If I turn my character to face the sound it disappears, I need to turn at a 90 degree angle to hear.
I am using a SB Li've! card with Logitech Z-640 speakers.
Has anyone experienced this before?

Just want to clarify, I don't need to really move the direction my character is facing, just the camera direction. If I have my camera straight behind my character and he is talking to someone face on, I need to move the camera so that I am looking at my character from the side in order to hear what is being said.
I know this sounds weird but I don't know how else to describe what's happening.

MSI now installed... havin some strange probs though...

OK after an effortless install, which was probably the easiest and quickest i've ever done in my life, my MSI Neo Platinum is up and running.
Got all my apps installed etc and my problem is that I cant change the FSB through Windows, whether it be clockgen or MSI corecentre, it just locks. Aslo, the PCI doesn't seem to be locking, even when I changed the AGP to 67Mhz which ir really annoying me. But my main prob as I said is that any attempt to increase FSB results in a lock, anyone else had similar problems?

Just had a play and ive now got the PCI bus locked, and clockgen seems to be working alright, currently at 225Mhz FSB.
Ive a feeling it could have been something to do with the option in the BIOS called... er... whats it called (dredging memory here)... damn I can't remember and I cant be arsed to reboot but its something to do with running tighter memory timings, or something about memory performance. I'll look in a bit.
So far it seems to be OK, i'll test for another hour or so then get the Adata PC4000 Vitesta in and go for some real clocks.

my problem is that i have created one bat file and i want to run that file in java but it is not running properly. the problem is .......
i have created one bat file named "file1.bat" & content of this file is as follows :-

now i am trying to run this bat file in java and want to read this b.txt in which i have redirected the content of file "ag".

2. now i am trying to read the file "b.txt" using FIleInputStream...
3. but first time it is giving some garbbage value.when i give --c:jdk1.3\bin>java runbf
4. but the very next moment when again i run that file - c:jdk1.3\bin>java runbf
it 'll give the correct value.
5. again when i change the content of file ag(suppose "bbbbbbb"). & try to run "runbf.java" like this-

6. then it 'll display the value "aaaaaa". now when again i run that file
it 'll give the correct value "bbbbbb"
7. so every time i have to run that "runbf.java" twice for printing the correct

so is there any method to refresh the data of file "b.txt"??????

Cuz r.exec is asynchronous, dummy. Read the friggin API. It starts a background process. If you wanna wait for it to finish, then call
Process p = r.exec(...);
p.waitFor(whatever).

Strange issue while printing invoice *** delivery challan

Dear experts,
I have a strange prob while taking out the printout of invoice ***/delivery challan.
We have two different locations (plants) A and B.
In sapscript layout we have defined GRN no and truckno in bottom windows and
type of invoice on upper part windows.
We are able to see complete output on preview in DEV,QAS,PRD
but on PRD when we take printout , part of output gets skipped on printing
though visible otherwise on preview.
What could be reason ?

Generally you face such problems in HP Printers.
Are u using HP laser Jet Printer .
Ok let me generalise the issue , you gotta ask ur basis guy to istall the latest driver for that printer
this will most probably solve ur problem.
Remember that once u get the print preview right , its either problem with the Basis or the printer.
If its a Z layout then ask ur Basis guy to check the internal setting as to at what height he is giving the page skip.

I am using Date picker. But once i read it, the value is one day less than that i give.
For eg, i give <b>06/25/2006</b>.. but it reads as <b>06/24/2006</b>.

XI Proxy Problems

I got a strange prob with XI 3.0 and the new SAP ERP.
Well what I did is a little configuration in the XI and generated a proxy in the SAP ERP to call it.
But when I call it I get this message in the error part in sxmb_moni in the ERP:

before this message I had an other message, that says that a RFC Destination called XI_INTEGRATIONSERVER dosn't exist. So I created it (never heard from something like that and nothing found in SDN or help portal), but I created it as http connection with no prefix. Can this be the problem?

Hi Oliver,
From the first error, It looks like a mapping issue.
You are missing a mandatory node element data.
The 2nd error is related to the configuration of the Integration Engine. Check the config guide.

Hang problem in oracle8

Friends ,
I got a strange prob in oracle 8 (ver : 8.1.7.0.0) in windows 2003 platform . It occurs from last 2 days .The problem is when I execute any commands it makes hang . Like :
1)
SQL> select username from dba_users where username='LIVA';
USERNAME
LIVA
SQL> drop user liva cascade;
It makes hang here for a lot of time and command does not executed
2)
SVRMGR> create tablespace user02 datafile 'E:\oracle\oradata\regs\user02.dbf' size 400M;
here also it hangs and not executed .
3)
Also when I want to export whole database then it make hangs during exporting the "XX_M_PREREGS_BUFF" table for a lot of time ....

My N8 was facing very strange probs, so i sent it to the Nokia care , they said that they will have to send to the head office.
the head office ppople called me and told that they r sending a new Phone as the probs i was facing were strange.
anyway , i have recieved my new set today ,
now it gets restarted on its own , in the middle of anything..
What can this prob b?

you can reformat the device i presume there is nothing on the phone yet you put there yourself and give it a go.
1) Turn off your phone
2) Hold "Volume Down + Camera Key + Menu Key" and press power button until your phone shake...
all data will be lost. so back up your data if you wish to keep it..

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

KT6V overclocks itself w/ DOT disabled ?!

Owkeej, strange prob here: my KT6V increases its FSB always to 200mhz if I change it to anything else then the default 166 of my XP2600 cpu. Although it says the correct speed at post screen (for instance 2200mhz when fsb is set to 191 using default ratio of 11.5) it increases itself during boot because when I get to windows and run WCPUID it says 2300mhz w/ 200mhz FSB. I've even tried other progs then WCPUID because I thought that was the problem, but always same results. Even a realtime clock checker says it's running @ 2300mhz.
Note that I have this problem with any FSB speed other then 166 (e.g. 170, or 180, 184, etc...)
DOT is disabled and CoreCenter is not installed. Using latest BIOS (I think that's v1.6)

Yeah, but the system isn't stable in 3D apps @ 2.3Ghz, so I would like to try a lower FSB so I get around 2.2GHz...
I have been testing a bit more now and it seems that whenever I change the FSB I have to save and exit BIOS and turn of the PC. Wait for a minute or so and turn it back on and then he accepts the new FSB frequency without increasing or decreasing it again.
Not to happy with this situation I will test a K7N2 Delta -iLSR board tomorrow to see which board is the better one of the two for me (I guess the Nforce will be the lucky one...)
