Strange problem: flash not working properly in IE

This is a link to the webpage where is my flash gallery. When
u open the it u will see the gallery on top, little pictures will
appear and will slide to the left. When u click on a small picture,
a big picture will appear of the same little picture. The problem
is that in mozilla firefox and opera for example it works perfectly
but when u open it with interner explorer 7, most of the times when
u click on a small pic, just the window where the big pic should
load shows up, but the pic doesn't load... if u close it and open
it second time it opens. The script is the same for all pics. I
don't understand why it is not working in IE. Anyone with more
experiance should have already faced this problem.. and maybe
figured out why this happens... please help !

The link is temporarily, so to speak it content changes cuz

I'm also having extreme problems with Flash. I did the
uninstaller thing too, I re-booted over & over again & it's
still not working. I can't view anything that uses Flash!!! It
shows up as being installed on my computer, but all the websites I
go to say "you don't have the new version installed-install now."
There's a link to install, I get the pop up on my toolbar to
install Active-X, but nothing happens.
If anyone has new info...please help

Adobe Flash Not Working Properly

The following problem applies to both I.E. and Firefox. Also, I am updated to the latest version of Flash: 11.4.402.278. Keep in mind that I have tried everything that I could find concerning this problem. Also, I am using Windows XP SP3 32bit.
I used to be able to watch video from any website that had videos to watch but recently I was not able to watch any, not even on YouTube. However, after uninstalling and reinstalling Flash I can now watch a few of the YouTube videos and nothing from any other web site. On YouTube, sometimes it works better if I disable Flash. However, when a note appears saying I need Flash, and I Re-enable Flash, it still won’t work. No notice saying anything, it simply will not play the video.
Also, if you are familiar with NetFlix, on their web site, when you hold your mouse pointer over a video title a popup is supposed to appear telling you about the video. That stopped working too. It's all screwed up and I don't know what happened.
Also, when I finish reinstalling Flash (which I have done a few times lately (after uninstalling and carefully following the instructions in the Uninstall Video)) and I am automatically taken to the Adobe page which tells me I have successfully installed Flash, I never get the little animation. It says Flash is properly installed but I never get the animation to show it is properly installed.
Also, on other sites that have test animation to show that Flash is installed and working, their animations never appear either. The problem is also evident when trying to use the websites that test my internet speed. I no longer get the applet or interface on the upload and download test sites.

No, there is no animation.
As stated on my original post, I have uninstalled and reinstalled more than
once. Each time Adobe says I have successfully installed Flash but there
is never an animation on either the Adobe site or anyother site.
Sometimes when attempting to watch a YouTube Video, like the Scorpions
performing Drive by the Cars (awesome acoustical version) it will not play
unless I disable Flash. Then trying to play a different video it says I
need flash so I re-enable flash and it doesn't work. In case you are
wondering, the video that says I need flash did not work before I disabled
flash and it did not work after re-enabling flash.
Before writing this reply I completely uninstalled flash following the
instructions on Adobe site and then reinstalled flash and it's the same as
usual. Adobe says it's installed but no animation and still have the same
problems with web videos.
This all started a couple weeks ago. Before that I had not problem.

Flash not working properly in FF

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.1 but it aso happened with 2.0. The
same goes for the flash version, i'm using the last version but had
the same problem with previous version. Flash loads well but when
clicking on it nothing happens. It's annoying because i can't do
anything on flash sites. It works with IE engine though.
I tried to unistall flash player, restart, install it again
but that didn't solve it. I'm sure it's a problem of my computer
because I don't have any problems with FF and flash at work.
Any help appreciated.

I have found the error seems to be with flash player 8. I
unistalled all the flash player programs, codecs, and registry
entries, then reinstalled flash player 6. As long as I ignore the
nag screen from flash sites to update to the latest version of
flash player, I have not been having any problems. Of course, I
cannot see the the flash applications built for version 8, but all
the older applications work fine.

PS: If any Adabe staff read these forums, I will reiterate
that THE ERROR IS WITH FLASH PLAYER 8!!!

Flash Not working Properly?

Hello Forum. I have an EOS Rebel XS / 1000D.
A couple of 'flash' issues I need assistance with or perhaps advice.
1. In Auto mode there are times the flash will open even in bright daylight shooting well lit subjects or scenery. This has also happened, oddly enough, a few times when I'd be wearing a wearing a ball cap. Shadow? Seems overly sensitive.
2. In natural daylight, using creative modes such as "P" the flash button will open the flash but it won't fire when taking the shot. On the other hand if I move inside a building (lower light condition) and repeat the same process, the flash will fire when I take the shot.
*My understanding is that if I manually open the flash in creative modes, regardless of lighting conditions, the flash should fire when I take a shot.

The manual which I so freely read, clearly states to put the camera in "P" mode, push the flash button on the camera body and the flash will open and flash will work when taking the shot.
What documentation are you quoting from?

10.4.4 - Problem - Widgets not working properly

I installed 10.4.4 last night and now my Widgets aren't working properly.
Some (Mostly third party widgets) simply don't appear on screen unless I go to 'Manage Widgets'.
Others, including Apple Widgets, won't download info from the web, again unless I go to 'Manage Widgets'.
I've tried closing the offending widgets, then dragging them back to the screen, I've also tried using the Manage Widgets Widget.
Is anyone else having a similar problem, and does anyone have a fix?

well I have done this update..the thing were right and functioning before....and I can hardly say that they are working now.
I have got this mac recently and I am a begginer...so I don't know where are those permisions....why do I need to check after each update..the permisions and who knows what else ...I left behind a stupid win....s operating system and here I am.... .......well it is very sad ... and discouraging.

Flash player does not work properly on Windows 7 32 bits

My flash player does not work properly on Windows 7 32 bits with Firfox and IE8 (lasts versions).
My Flash player version : 10.0.45.2, but I tried with version 9 too, with same problems.
I have tried to uninstall, reboot, reinstall several times, ... witch did not worked.
In fact, it works correctly on some sites, like youtube, but not on some others like :
http://www.dailymotion.com/ => black screen instead of videos, right click gives flash context menu
http://www.canalplus.fr/ => videos does not load, right click gives flash context menu
http://www.myspace.com/ => no audio player, right click gives flash context menu
some games in http://www.kongregate.com/ => black screen instead of games, right click gives flash context menu
I have no problem with shockwave in http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/
No problem too with flash player on http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
But in the Global Privacy Settings panel (http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.htm l), I cannot change any settings :
I cannot check boxes,
My changes are not saved.
In most of flash animations, videos, ...,
when I click on parameters, I cannot do anything, even closing.
when I am in full screen mode, the message "press escape to exit...." does not disappear.
Last thing, all those problems was not there when I was on Windows XP, few weeks ago, and appear with my registered Windows 7 premium familly edition, with the same hardware configuration...

Troubleshoot Pop-up blockers
I have no Pop-up or esle blocker software.
Ensure that Internet utilities do not block Flash Player
I tried (uninstall, install and run) without Avast.
I have windows 7 firewall. I do not know where I can allow ActiveX controls and Flash (SWF) content. I do not see anything relative to ActiveX an Flash in allowed program list.
Fix machine crashes when displaying Flash content
I have no freez or crash.
Using IE, Shockwave Flash Object is Enabled and vs 10.0.45.2
Using FF, I have SWF vs 10.0.45.2 and it is Enabled
I really do not understand !!

I have lost track of the number of websites which do not work properly on my iPad. They include retail sites, billing sites and most important of all job application sites. They all seem to require Adobe Flash Player which cannot be downloaded onto an iPad. Skyfire does not solve the problem. They all load without vital parts of the site such as tabs, links and correct formatting. Any suggestions?

Most such brower/service combinations have a difficult time working with Flash-based apps and often fail completely. Flash videos are usually the most successful content these browers can handle. You can try the others apps - Puffin, iSwifter, etc - but you may find that none of them work, in which case you will not be able to use your iPad with these sites other than by using one of the various remote control solutions to take over a computer running the full Flash Player.
IMHO, any developer that built a Flash application for a billing or job application site was an idiot, but I know that's out of the control of anyone but the relevant company.

hi there, since i have reinstalled my laptop, i am having
problem watching online videos properly, its like sounds comes
perfect, the video slows down and even stuck, cant watch whats
going on in the video. Could you please guide me how to rectify
this problem. The video streaming is not working properly as the
sound streaming is fine. Our internet is fine as its been check on

I still don't know what "reinstalled my laptop means". Put it
back on your lap? Humor...arr-arr.
Anyway, you have Firefox with the latest FP10 plug-in. Have
you verified this with the "Version Tester"

and checked the support pages at
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/
I ask these questions not to be mean, but to verify your
version and make you aware of the differences between IE FP
(ActiveX) and FF FP (plug-in). Also... the version checker will act
funky if you have 2 different FP versions installed, such as your
XP's OE IE and your added FF. Look in Control Panel, Add/Remove
Programs. Do you see a previous version of FP there? You may need
to update your IE's FP as well, it could be conflicting with your
FFFP.
Another thing to check.... AVG8's Linkscanner has caused some
issues, mostly by slowing down site-loading. To test this, turn
off/diable that feature. Yes, it'll whine about it. (end of part 1)

I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.

I updated to Firefox 4.01 today and the middle scroll button on my Lenovo T400 stopped working. I downloaded the updated Ultranav utility and the Ultranav driver for my T400 from here http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-72858.html and then uninstalled the "Thinkpad Ultranav Driver" from Add/Remove programs rebooted and then installed the updated utility and driver (another reboot) and it now works perfectly.
