Strange Problem Nokia 5230.. Please Help!!!!!!!!!!...
This is my think the most difficult problem till now in techie things. Now the problem is :- I have Nokia 5230. I was using Tata Docomo since the day it was launched, i used it in my Motorola L9 and it was working all good. Now i got Nokia 5230 and was using Docomo in 5230. After some days i updated my phone firmware to v20 and since that day i was having problems called Connection Error when i tried to call. So from that day,people can't call me/message me/ or vice versa. Now the strange thing is GPRS works 24/7 but i can't call or vice versa things. So i did 2 things :- Interchanged Sim Cards, i put Docomo in Motorola and Reliance in Nokia now the thing is BOTH ARE WORKING FINE!!!!! IDK why, but Docomo works fine in MOTOROLA, and RELIANCE works fine in NOKIA but DOCOMO DOES NOT WORK IN NOKIA (except GPRS). I can't interchange sim cards to repective phones, because i got 5230 only for GPRS and i use GPRS whole day and i need Docomo to work.

Is the TATA DOCOMO sim problem solved with NOKIA N73?
I also facing same problem, i can use GPRS but message/call is not available all the time(when i start phone only for few time i can call/message).

Okay, my sister has a Pink ipod Nano 2nd gen, 4gb.
It has worked well since December 2006, but this week has begun messing up!
Last night it froze up. The *Clicker noise* heard when scrolling through menus etc. was playing uncontrollably when not even touching the touch wheel!
I had to reset the ipod, hate doing that by the way.
2nd. Now, the iPod will turn on, go straight to the last song played, and won't respond, the only way to get it to stop is by resetting it!
I NEED HELP! please help me!!!!!!She can just re-sync her stuff back onto it and see if it now acts normally. If you still get the funky click wheel behavior, then she may have an actual hardware problem like a sticking contact and it would either have to be repaired (probably not worth it) or replaced.

Really strange problem...Please help
I just got the 160 gb ipod and a new dell laptop. I plugged my external hd onto the dell and then imported all the files onto my itunes(8) which is about 80 gigs. Then is plugged in my ipod and waited. My dell decided to update and then restart while my ipod was syncing so when i turn my itunes back on and re sync all the music that was imported to my ipod turned into "other." At first it seemed like the "other" was being deleted as the music filed went back onto my ipod but now i have 60 gbs of "other" and i cant seem to figure out why or how to get rid of it. If you could help me out with this you'd be a saint.
Just do a Restore on the iPod and that will clear it all out for you.

It won't let me drag an effect from the browser all of a sudden. I have always been able to do before. I am using effects from favorites bin and when I try to drag it to the timeline, it won't move. I have never had this problem before. Please help.
P.S. I have tried other effects including transitions and it still won't let me drag.Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)

It means, the URLLink.ACSM file is corrupted. Please contact the book store and ask them to check whether the configuration in the server side is correct for that book.
One of the simple setting in the server which can case this issue is, setting the book for loan in server and providing the purchase option in the book store or vise verse.

hiya i recently updated my Nokia 5130 over-the-air and had no problems so far. then i have downloaded the latest internet settings fro my phone via my network operator. no problem there. but whenever i surf the net or use 3rd-party chat service the internet shuts down and just stops working? why is this? is there a way to use my internet (to surf or chat) seamlessly? I am facing a very strange problem. I have 1 DespktopPane, say DT in which I have created two InternalFrames, say IF1 and IF2. Also there are two JPanels, say P1 and P2. P1 contains various controls and IF1s ContentPane is set to P1 and P2 contains nothing. There two MenuItems, say M1 and M2. On M1s click I displayed IF1 and on M2s click I displayed IF2. Before adding IF2 everything is working fine, i.e. all the controls are able to display on IF1 but after adding IF2 allthe controls are transferred from IF1 to IF2 and now IF1 displays as a blank screen and IF2 contains allthe controls which are added in JPanel p2 whereas IF2s ContenPane is set to P2 and no control is added in P2.

You can't have components at more than one place in the hierarchy. If you add a component to something it is removed from its existing parent if there is one.
I'm not sure how much that helps you - I took one look at your code and ran away screaming. -

J2ME Polish 2.0.4 Installation Problem...please help !!

I recently downloaded j2mepolish-2.0.4.jar on my Windows XP machine , and from commandline started the installation by typing the command :

Edited by: sc0tta on Aug 29, 2008 11:07 AMMy JDK version is 1.6.0_03, and the jre i was using was 1.5.0 . The problem was fixed after i upgraded my jre to 1.6.0_07 :)
So, it looks like both jdk and jre have to be the same major version (1.6.0 in my case) for the installation to be successful.

My phone keeps going to a blank screen
About an hour ago, a little sign decided to pop up at the top of the screen, like, the symbol that appears when you send a picture message, it keeps trying to connect to the internet, but every time that the little box appears round the G the screen either goes blank, or turns itself off!
Does anyone know what i can do to stop this happening?
