Strange SFTP error message

I can no longer connect using SFTP on one of my sites in Dreamweaver CS6 and I get this error message:
Failed to Read the contents of XML Resource:
IDD_SSH_KEY_CHANGE_DIALOG
The password and paths  are correct and I am able to connect using other SFTP clients such as Cyberduck. I've deleted the site several times and recreated in Dreamweaver, but the error message remains the same.
Somebody please point me in the right direction.
Thanks.

Yes!!! Step 12 worked. (Renaming the Configuration folder.) Thank you so much, you're a star.
Anyone else trying this on Lion or Mountain Lion should note that the user Library that contains this folder is not visible by default:
/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS6/[language]/Configuration
You have to go into Terminal to make it visible, see the tutorial here:
http://macs.about.com/od/usingyourmac/qt/Os-X-Lion-Is-Hiding-Your-Library-Folder.htm
Also note: there's another Configuration folder within the Dreamweaver Application itself: Macintosh HD/Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver/Configuration, however renaming is no help at all - it makes Dreamweaver crash!

  • Strange i8042 error messages

I get the following strange i8042 error messages appearing whenever I suspend my machine:
    i8042: Can't reactivate KBD port
PM: Device i8042 failed to resume: error -19
However, the system seems to work fine. A google search suggested adding the kernel parameters: i8042.reset and i8042.nomux to my kernel boot line, which I have done, but this did not work.
System is an Intel ATOM 330 AsRock motherboard with a Logitech MK300 wireless mouse and keyboad combo.
    Any ideas appreciated.

I'd say you can just ignore it. i8042 is a builtin (rather than a module) which is part of PS/2 keyboard support.

  • Strange MIDI error message. Please Help

I keep getting a strange message when I load logic: “Logic Pro has detected a possible conflict between one or more third party MIDI or audio drivers. Be sure to install the latest drivers for all audio and MIDI equipment connected to your computer, and remove any older or unused drivers”. After a few attempts to get the message to go away, Logic finally loaded. Does anyone have any idea what this is? I’ve searched the forums and can’t seem to find any info. Thanks.

Did you recently upgrade to Logic Pro 7.2?
If so, then the reason for the error message is that the latest MIDI and audio drivers of your plug-ins need to be updated before you upgrade Logic.
Try this... Under the file menu at the top left corner, go to Logic Pro, then down to preferences, and then Start Logic AU manager. You will then get a dialogue box that asks if it is OK to quit the current program and start the AU manager. Click the start AU manager. A screen then pops up showing all of the plug-ins of your system. Logic scans them to validate them. Those in which there is a problem (crashing, etc), indicates likely that the drivers for those AU units need to be updated.
Once all of them pass validation, then the error message should go away.
This information was gleaned from one of the tutorials that I watched on VTC.com, the Logic Pro section, and on Martin Sitter' tutorials on MacProvideo.com. I highly recommend the tutorials... they are excellent.
    Hope the above helps.

  • Strange disc error message- OS 10.4.3 upgrade attempt

In attempting to upgrade from OS10.2.8 to 10.4.3, I get the following error message when running the Disc Utility- Repair Disc from the installation CD-ROM: "Incorrect number of thread records" The disc repair fails and so does the OS installation. This error did not show up when I ran Disc Utility from my original OS Installation Disc.
I have an aftermarket RAM chip installed. Is that the problem? If not, any ideas?

Actually I have just checked my problem and as soon as I start Disc Utility I get a message: ' Disc Utility started, but a background process needed in disc utility didnt start properly' so I may have to ask a Disc Utility question.

  • Strange Server Error Message

I have a message that I tried to send to a very large number of people. The error message I receive says it cannot send with this server and displays the list of email address to which I attempted to send it. Because all of the emails are displayed the entire error message doesnt fit on the screen--I can't click any of the options (such as cancel) on the bottom of the error.... So the email is just haunting me...
I took a screen shot, but cannot post it here. If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated! Here is the screenshot as uploaded to sendspace: http://www.sendspace.com/file/cgblkz
    Thanks,
    Tegan

you will probably have to force quit Mail. Apple Menu > Force Quit... or CMDOptionEsc.
as for why the server wont send the mail, perhaps because there are so many addresses.

  • Strange IMAQ Error Message: "ni: A frame has been dropped and the acquisition has been canceled."

    Hello,
I am getting a strange error trying to use the NI PCIe-1427 with the MATLAB image acquisition toolbox configured with continuous acquisition.  After about 5 minutes of acquisition, I get the error below:
??? ni: A frame has been dropped and the acquisition has been canceled.
Does anyone have any clues as to why I am getting this error / where I can find out what causes it?  I need to acquire several hours worth of data and this error completely aborts my acquisition.
      --Y

    Hello,
Turns out that I found the problem.  I had a slow memory allocation in my MATLAB code and this delay allowed too many frames to be accumulated in memory.  I still do not know the source of the exact text of the error, but upon removing the slow memory allocation the error no longer occurs.  I believe that it may have resulted from a buffer overrun of some sort in the underlying driver.
Given that this no longer poses a problem for me, I will not pursue it further.
    Thank you for your help!

  • Strange postfix error messages

    Hi guys,
I've just discovered (after some unusual activity) that my splunk license has been exceeded...
    quick summary.
I noticed multiple attempts on ssh from a certain IP - I also noticed that postfix was being hammered also.  I generally use a free license of Splunk to sort these issues out - but because the system had indexed 2GB of data in 24 hours I was goosed.
    to give you some idea:

(the numbers being the instances on those particular source types)
Could someone tell me what in the world is going on here?  I believe I've stopped the instrusion, and to be honest I don't actually have mail actively setup on this particular server.  However having googled I'm not finding very much.
    cheers,

    just to add
locutus.mydomaint.com is a typo ... it is set to a FQDN but yes I've replaced the domain
after having posted the original - I found this thread with similar information...
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4685245?start=15&tstart=0
    mydomain:bin ian$ ps -ef | grep master

      501 30927  4743   0  7:15PM ttys000    0:00.00 grep master
not quite sure what to take from this, so I would still love some advice.

  • Strange syntax error message with some functions!

    Hello!
I have a strange trouble with some functions in Numbers.
For example when I try an IF function directly copied and pasted from Numbers documentation I get an error from Numbers that “the formula contains a syntax error.
    *The function looks like this:*
    *=IF(E6>=0, “Nonnegative”,”Negative”)*
*The value in cell E6 is 25.*
Anyone have a clue about why?

    Hello
    If you enter my iDisk
    <http://idisk.mac.com/koenigyvan-Public?view=web>
You will be able to download:
    suriWork:for_Numbers:pour_modifierNumbers.zip
Which gives the ability to change the Numbers behavior (same thing for Pages and Keynote).
Applying it you will get an "Insert functions" tool matching your local settings.
It will insert functions using the semi-colon as parameters delimiter.

  • Strange error message when I tried to use the "collaborate" function under "File"

Has anyone else met this before? : I am trying to share my project with my team members. Tried File -> Collaborate and then try three options under it. Non e of them works. It asks for your Adobe ID in order to sign in and upload. However, every time I typed in my Adobe ID and password, it gave me strange error messages. The first time it says: User has not verified email address yet. I have been using this Adobe ID since 2008 or 2009 and of course I have verified my email address. But to make sure, I went back to my email box and search for emails about Adobe ID verification but I didn't find any (I never delete emails such as this).
Then I tried to register a new Adobe ID. This time when I tried to singn in with the new Adobe ID, it will either say "Network may not be available" (which is not true because I am able to surf on the Internet at the same time), or it says "User has not accepted user condition/agreement".
I feel so frustrated because I feel this is definitely not my mistake which caused the failure of log in.
Hope someone can tell me what the reason is and how to fix it though.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi Lilybiri,
Thanks for your quick response. I followed your suggestion and verified my Adobe ID on acrobat.com.
Now I can enter the collaborate function. However, everytime when I tried to send it to myself (for test purpose) I got another error message "You need to enter a valid emaill address". I saw someone else on this forum has met the same problem. Do you have any suggestion on what is the possible reason for this to happen?
Again, thanks for the fast response. You have been helping me and other ppl so much.

By trial and error, a fix was removing one Muse function! The page then seemed to work without problem from my hard drive. But when added to my server, a Muse-related error message pops up. After dismissing the error, the page seems to work. I have been unable to figure out this mysterious error. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Come on, Adobe Muse engineers. Give me a hand with this problem. Someone must know what this error means.

  • SFTP Receiver adapter error Message could not be forwarded to the JCA adapter

    Hi Experts,
I'm needing help to solve a problem with an SFTP Receiver interface.
Before I was sending in the adapter configuration as "Direct" in Write Modus (File .txt) and now I changed to "Use temporary file" is occurring this error:
    Message
could not be forwarded to the JCA adapter. Reason: 2: Moving
    /ABCftp/To_XXX/140187613515701OUT_20140604-100214-622.TXT.tmp to /ABCftp/To_XXX/01OUT_20140604-100214-622.TXT failed.
Files as TXT they are being written to the SFTP however when as TMP returns this error ... would not rule SFTP server to accept different TXT files?
I also changed the namespace to "http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/SFTP" and "http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File" but is not working.
    Any help will be welcome!
    tks.

    Hi Durga and Naveen...
I believe the problem is when the application's legacy system picks up the file because the log file got the "tmp", ie, was not formed yet ...
I changed to a directory without the intervention of the legacy application and it worked.
I'm waiting for the opportunity to modify the legacy system to capture only files with the extension TXT.
    Tks All for help!

  • Trying to update my Itunes software, now it does not want to work at all, givin strange error messages.

Trying to update my Itunes software, now it does not want to work at all, givin strange error messages.
First, when trying to sync ipod touch to Itunes, nothing happened. After that, Itunes suggested downloading and installing updates but now updates will not finish installation correctly and launch error messages. Any ideas?
    TKS !

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? Are they also 800736B3s, or a different error code? If they're different, what codes are you getting in Windows Update?
