Strange sounds while charging

ppl i've got that strange sound when my macbook is connected to power :s seems like a buzzing sound..sometimes it is high frequent
i'm an audio engineer so those sounds make go crazy
it stops when i unplug the power.
what could this be?

hmm. when i switch photobooth on it becomes more quite but it is still there..
the ****** part of that problem is that i'm in poland right now and of course there is a apple store but like 400km away :o
of course this is not a huge problem like RSD but i hate the idea that i paid sooo much for a mac and there a still a few things which don't work properly makes me mad :s
i hope they will fix that when i'm back home again so i can use my makbook without thinging of any annoying sounds and problems

Hi,
I've purchased a new BB9720 with original Charger received in the packing.
While charging the phone on an AC electrical point, the charger makes strange humming / creaking sound.
I'm based in New Delhi India, with 220V AC supply - the electrical circuit is perfect and has no earthing or other issues.
The AC CHargers on my other devices - iPhone, iPad, Samsung phones while charging do not make such noise.
It is only BlackBerry charger that makes this noise.
Can someone from BlackBerry support please respond if this is fine.

Strange vibrations while charging

My mother bought herself an 8Gb 2nd gen iPod touch for christmas, and has been using it non stop every day, even while charging (using an Apple branded USB ac power adapter)
Today while she was playing "Trism" (her favourite game). I happened to touch her hand, and noticed a strange vibration feeling (it's very hard to describe, not like a mobile phone vibrate, but more subtle) when the USB cable was disconnected, the vibration stopped.
My mother is now very worried and so I would love any help as to whether she should take it back, what's actually going on, or whether others have noticed this, (I personally haven't noticed it on my 1st gen 32Gb iPod touch)

Mine does this too it feels like electrisity and tingles my hands. I think I has to do with the USB cable though because the tip of it it is also vibrating. It could be leaking electrisity and then the case of the iPod is conducting it.

Strange behaviour while charging

My iPad 1is unusable while charging.
In iBooks, for instance, it will not change pages properly, either moving between pages randomly without user input, or refusing to change pages when directed.
In other apps, different forms of unusual behaviour occur, all seeming to be associated with random detection of user input when none is applied, or incorrect response to real user input.
It operates normally when off charge.
Any advice, please.

Are you using the Apple supplied cable and power adapter or third party accessories? Are you charging by plugging the power adapter into a wall socket?
I would check the cable, the power adapter, change the wall socket - do the basic things first and try to narrow down the cause. It just be that your cable is bad - it could have a hairline crack that you cannot see - try another cable from an iPod or iPhone - do some experimentation.

How do I stop the doo-doo sound while charging?

I set iTunes to NOT sync when I plug the iPhone into the USB port on my PC (Windows XP), and now I can plug the phone it to charge via USB without having iTunes open and try to sync. Very good.
But... While the phone is plugged in and charging, it keeps "waking up" and going alternately to the "charging battery" screen, and the "unlock" screen. Each time it changes screens, it makes the little "alert" sound. This happens just about every minute, but not regularly. Sometimes the computer will think it "found new hardware".
Is there a simple way to stop this?
I assume it is coming from Windows, and not from the iPhone. The USB port must be sending some sort of "what the heck are you?" polling signal to the iPhone.
I hope I don't have to shut down "plug 'n' play" entirely.

if you switch the ringer silence switch this will resolve the issue of the phone chiming when it initiates the charge cycle.
As far as the switching back and forth from charging to not charging, the most likely culprit is a bad usb port.. try plugging in to a different port and see if you get the same result, if you do then try a different cable (regular iPod cables will work) eliminate the small stuff first.
The usb port on the right side of my PBG4 did the same thing to me, iPhone keeps jumping from charging to not charging.. I plugged it into the left side, no more problems..

When I plug my Ipod into the charging cable connected to my car's usb (via cigarette lighter), the volume bar disappears and no sound will come out of the device (even though the song is "playing"). If I disconnect the charger, the bar reappears and the sound plays fine. If I take this same cable and connect it into a wall adapter, there is no problem. I have tried turning off/ turning back on the device, unplugging/replugging the cables, turning on the car with the cables connected, and without...nothing works.
It gets kind of annoying that I can't charge the device in the car and listen at the same time...

Does the system manufacturer say it will wor kwith your model iPod and iOS? Not all are fully compatible. Go to theri support site.
You can try the following:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Strange sounds while using safari

I have a relatively new MacBook. Recently when I start up Safari I hear foreign voices as if I'm eavesdropping on a conversation. . I don't have anything else running and it doesn't matter what URL I'm on.
I was on a wi-fi network at a resort about a week ago. Could I have picked up something. An Apple hardware scan turned up nothing.
Thoughts?

First off, I suggest using the charger that came with the iPad and plug that into a good wall outlet. USB ports often do not supply enough power for efficient charging on an iPad.

Hello there Pedro, please forgive me for my late reply, I was unable to test meanwhile,
and yeah, I removed the battery and booted my laptop with AC power. Result : the same sound.
I also noticed that, If i listen closely my charger unit, i can hear the same sound from the charger too...(It's obviously the same, but a hoarse noise)
Afterall, It's not distorting internal speakers, that happens when i use the line out for my amplificator.
Whenever I plug it out, I have no problem such as an annoying distortion voice on line out jacks.

Sounds like a battery failure. Your phone is under warranty. Bring it back to Apple

IPhone 5 making weird sound while using Viber

My iphone will start making strange low tone beep sound while using viber. Only when I close the app (holding it long at multi-task and clicking the X) will it stop. And then when I open it again it will start making weird beeps again. Please help.

Screen mis-calibrated while charging

Dialpad works fine unless I'm on a call. If I'm on a call trying to type the number 5, it gives me 4 instead. This happens consistently.
UPDATE: After testing multiple apps it seems the screen is mis-calibrated while charging. If I remove the charger from the phone screen behavior returns to normal. I first thought you had to be on a call to make this behavior happen but it happens in the launcher too as long as the Pre is charging.

That is strange. I do not get album art when the phone is locked and an album is playing. All my albums have album art too. I will reboot and try again, maybe it's a bug in iOS4.1?
FIXED !!! -- I just rebooted my iPhone and now it works. Strange.

Have basics from the manual (reset, restart, restore) been tried?
Check the accessibility features on the device to ensure something did not accidentally get turned on.

Vibration on New HP 15-110tx while Charging

About a month ago I bought new HP Envy 15-110tx laptop in India. While charging I am feeling mild Elcectrical / Strange vibration. As soon as I remove it from Power Plug, things goes normal.

Iphone 6 odd behaviour while charging

When the phone is plugged in to the charger it does strange things, for example it randomly selects incorrect numbers for the pass code, it will randomly open email mailboxes and messages, without any touching of the screen at all.
Anyone else had similar problems? As soon as I unplug the charger it behaves normally.

Yes, it should autolock while charging. The settings to adjust Autolock are in Settings>General>Autolock.
