Stream 7 and Windows with Bing window sizing on desktop

I really like the HP Stream 7 but the Windows 8.1 with Bing version of windows has a really irritating behavior on the small tablets it won't keep the size and position settings of many applications on the desktop. IE always opens full screen same with Windows Explorer and if you resize or position it the next time you open it it is back to full screen. This is the same behavior on the Streak 7, Toshiba Encore Mini or Encore 2 8 inch, Insignia 8 inch and may be the behavior of all the smaller tablets with Windows with Bing. The Toshiba Encore 2 10 inch behaves normally maintaining the window settings between launches, as did the 8 inch tablets running Windows 8.0 and 8.1 versions prior to Windows with Bing.
Can anyone suggest how to correct this on the small tablets with Windows with Bing

Just checked Amazon and they now have a couple cases that provide full screen access so I ordered one.
But that still leaves me looking for the setting that makes the Windows with Bing tablets behave like the tablets with other versions of Windows 8.1 with respect to retaining window size and aspect

Usually the resolution is updating the Apple Mobile Device Driver. See the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > Update the Apple Mobile Device Driver.

Merge form window with explorer window

i am using forms 10g. i want to merge forms window with explorer window or say i don't wanna to display form's title bar. is there any way to perform this?

You can integrate your form in to an Internet Explorer window by setting separateFrame=false in the formsweb.cfg
When separateFrame=true, you will have the additional title bar which is owned by the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). This cannot be easily avoided.

I dun really know if it will have mini errors with 98 as I didn't install any 98 on my system, but this board works perfectly fine with my 2000. 2000 is a more complex platform than 98 as it supports more than Windows with NT in it.
If it works well with my 2000 platform, then I think 98 shouldn't be a prob .

Issue in overlapping of windows with main window.

My requirement is to have 4 windows at the end of main window.
the 4 windows should be printed only after end of all the line items in the main window.
the problem here is if i extend my main window till the end and overlap the 4 windows. if line items are less it is printing perfectly fine. if line items are many the 4 windows are overlapping on line items. if i decrease the size of main window and place 4 windows after that, if line items extend to two or three pages. windows space will be wasted in page 1 and page 2 as the 4 windows will be printed only on the last page i.e end of line items.
Any pointers for solving this would be appreciated.

one death you gonna die, thats what i always say to customers when it comes to this topic.
IF you want certain things printed on certain positions of a sheet, you NEED to reserve this space, so that no overlapping issue comes up.Reserving this space means that this space may stay free in matter of page breaks and such.
So they either live with the wasted space, or they live with the information having an uncertain position, since you just give it out in main window after all the line items.
If first case is BLACK and second case is WHITE, then you have to know that in this scenarion there is no GRAY, just WHITE OR BLACK.

Window.open always opens a child window with parent window propertiesin firefox 30

By clicking on a link my code uses window.open which should open the response in child window. I am not specifying any height and width(as per requirement). In firefox alone, the window takes up the properties of child window and opens with same size as of parent window. Is there a way to restrict Firefox from inheriting the properties of parent window?

Unable to open a seperate java console window with javascript:window.open()

I am opening a new window using javascript:window.open() function by clicking an hyperlink in a html document. In this new windows I am trying to load an applet. Only for the first time a java console window is displayed in windows system tray . How can I open a different java console window each time I open a new window ? Basically I want to run each applet in its own JVM and it seems that each applet loaded in new window is using the same JVM and hence only one java console window is seen in my system tray.

How do I get my Photo Stream to sync with my Windows 7 PC and my iPhone 5 after it has stopped working?

My photo stream has always synced just fine between my Windows 7 PC and my iPhone 5. However, just a month or so ago it stopped automatically syncing. I turned it off and on in the iPhone settings in two places, deleted all the photos manually, signed out of iCloud on my PC and even uninstalled iCloud on my PC. Now it appears to be partially working. If I add or delete photos from my Photo Stream on my iPhone, the changes are reflected on my PC. However, if I delete photos or add photos to my Photo Stream folder on my PC, the changes are not reflected on my iPhone. I can delete all the pictures out from my Photo Stream on my PC but they are all still there in my Photo Stream on my iPhone. How do I get the two devices to sync properly again?

OfficeJet 4500 and Problem with Launching Windows Explorer (XP OS)

I installed HP OfficeJet 4500 wireless printer with XP operating system on my desktop PC in Wireless mode. Printing works fine from desktop and wireless laptops. However, when I try to access Windows Explorer on my desktop PC, using the desktop shortcut or executable file name in the "Run" menu, the screen flashes, goes blank (blue screen) then refreshes the desktop but will not launch Windows Explorer. This also occurs when I go to My Computer or Network Places and select "My Documents" or click on the root of the C: drive. The only way I can access my files is to use the actual program they were created in (i.e., Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.) I used System Restore and restored my computer to a date prior to installing the printer and this solved the problem. When I reinstalled the HP OfficeJet printer, the problem recurred, so it is definitely associated with installing the printer. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks for your help.

I haven't seen that issue specifically. I would download and run the HP Printer Diagnostic Utility. There might be some file conflicts during the installation that are not resolved that this utility might fix. I have a C309a AiO that had some other issue that the Diagnostic utility fixed.

I have a IPAD 3rd generation and am trying to sync my calendar and contacts with my window live contacts and calendar. It does the contacts but issues message that no supported calendar application found. Windows is 64 bit Itunes is 10.6

Any ideas on how to get the IPAD and IYUNES to sync the calendar?

Backup and synching with a Windows Server, what 3rd party software do I need.

I have a Macbook Air. We just got a new Server, a Dell PowerEdge T420 running Windows Small Business Server 2011 CAL Suite.
I am told my Macbook Air will not Snych to backup files from a defined folder (like My Documents) and e-mail in Outlook. Mac's can't do that.
I don't believe that is true. Can anyone give me direction. Is there some 3rd party software that allows Mac to do this?

There are several ways you can pull the music off your iPod and onto iTunes. The first link below provides step-by-step instructions for the direct method if you have a PC as well as a few third party applications (for both the Mac and PC) if you choose to go that route instead. You can also do a simple Google search for "copy music from iPod to computer" and you should receive a number of sites that can help you out.
Just make sure that when you have your iPod plugged into your computer, that you don't hit "Erase and Sync" before completing the task of copying your music over.
Also, if you have any purchased music, you will probably have to re-authorize your computer by heading to the Store drop down menu and choosing "Authorize computer."

Make your VI reentrant and then programmatically spawn new instances. To make the VI reentrant, go to File>>VI Properties. In the Category pull down, select Execution, then select "Preallocated clone reentrant execution".
Here is an example to show you how to programmatically spawn the VI:

Edit window has distinct red - pink hue - cast, and ONLY with edit window.

Very odd. When I double-click to edit within iPhoto, the ensuing version of the picture is very, very pink. A distinct red hue to the entire picture. Happens no matter which library I am viewing. Tossing the preferences did nothing. I am now reinstalling iPhoto (having forgot to check for problem persistence in different user account).
It's impossible to edit for color when the photo itself is color-distorted itself. The pictures look fine in album view, and from the library. They pictures export fine. But internal editing is now impossible for me. Install says it is done. Now, to relaunch....STILL PINK! Okay, to try another user account.

For me it gets odder (is that a word? really?). The pinkness persists in other windows and buttons. The Finder window "view" icons are, when selected, pink in color. Voodoo Pad Light has it's buttons pink. Firefox is unafflicted.
This problem has persisted through an Archive and Install of OS 10.5.
That surprised me.
Persists in Safe Boot mode. So everything is okay, but somewhere, maybe, a software switch got set. And I want to unset it. Any further ideas on how to troubleshoot this. Next, I suppose, is a new OS X install, and then I can migrate my user and see it the pinkness persists through that. I don't want to have to reinstall my utilities and software again; don't want to input all those codes and passwords that I use 1Password to remember. Sigh....

Open in new window with different window size

Does anybody know of a way to make a hyperlink and the window open to a new page where the window size is different from the page before? I want to open to a new page where it's a quicktime thats just in a smaller window.
