just got thenupdate to windows 10. hate it so far but the big problem is i can not download drivers from hp site. on 10 there is no download link. so this tablet is stuck in one way will not rotate. also no audio. ugh it runs slower also and only 2gb left after the long auto &pdate

To get more space - might run the disk cleanup program, and select "remove old windows installations" (or something to that affect). Not sure if that's entirely appropriate, given the nature of WIMBOOT and Win10 - but worth a shot. Also - slowness may be due to some of the items being "compressed" or whatever it is that Win10 is supposed to do, rather than WIMBOOT

weird very weird. today i did this again today after already being unsuccessful earlier. exactly the same thing as i have done before, exactly. didn't try to import. didn't say damaged library, copied everything in including date. have tried it about 10 times no luck. today it just worked.
how weird is that?

Oracle Streams Update conflict handler not working

Hello,
I've been working on the Oracle streams and this time we've to come up with Update conflict handler.
We are using Oracle 11g on Solaris10 env.
So far, we have implemented bi-directional Oracle Streams Replication and it is working fine.
Now, when i try to implement Update conflict handler - it executed successfully but it is not fulfilling the desired functionality.
Here are the steps i performed:

Photo stream update - I should be eligible but nothing is coming up...

Whilst setting up iCloud, I was told I needed an update for iPhoto to be able to use Photo Stream.
I clicked on learn more, and it says
If you are using an earlier version of iPhoto 9:
If you purchased iPhoto on the Mac App Store, or if it was preinstalled on your computer along with OS X Lion, you can update iPhoto on the Mac App Store.
Now, I bought my MacBook around the time that OS X Lion was released, and got the free upgrade for it, but when I go to the App store it says that all my apps are up to date, and when I try looking for the update from iPhoto itself, I'm told it's up to date also and that I am running iPhoto 9.1.5
Any help please?

I updated iphoto using the "normal" Update Search in the apple menue....then it worked

I have created a shared phot stream on my IOS devices and they update ok.
I have invited others and they are allowed to post.
I can see all posted photo's on all IOS devices.
I cannot see any phot's posted by oyhers on my Mac in iPhoto.
iPhoto updates fine when I post from an IOS device but does not when someone else posts.
Ny ideas how I can see all shared photo's in iPhoto on my Mac the same as all the IOS subscribers

Are your IOS devices on IOS 7? And have your shared streams been created on IOS 7?
iPhoto '11 on Mt. Lion is not yet fully compatible with the new Shared Photo Streams format on IOS 7 devices. It does not yet allow two-way sharing of streams. The photos that others add to your shared photo streams are not visible in iPhoto '11. You will have to wait for an iPhoto '11 update, that will bring the full compatibility with the new Photo Steam formats and probably will come with the next MacOS X release Mavericks.

Do changes to a project from shared stream, update the stream?

I created a shared photo stream from an existing project. Then I updated a couple of photos in the project. Will those changes also be made to the shared stream that was based on this project? I tried to change them while still in the stream, but Aperture won't let me - need to do so in project.

no, adjustments added after you shared an image to a stream, will not be updated in the stream.
Share the image again after updating it and delete the previous version from the stream.

Streams update handler

I am logging inserts, updates and deletes to etl.employee_audit table, source is hr.employees. For Updates I want to see the post image of the row, how can I achiev that. I have supplemental logging on all columns, but when I am issuning the following command
update hr.employees
set salary = 2018
where employee_id = 1;

I just see the salary as 2018, but rest of the columns are NULL. How can I get the other pre exisitng column as well for employee_id = 1, I was assuming that after enabling supplemental looging on all columns I should see all the exisitng column with new one. How to resolve this ?
Have spent many hours on this. Any help will be highly appreciated. I am using 11g database.

I am using streams for Change data capture (to capture incremental changes) and want to Insert dml operations(Insert, Update, Delete) on a table to shadow table.
For Update operation:
If a column is Updated, I want to see a new value for that column.
For all other column I want see existing or old value. What I am getting currently is only NEW value and NULL for all other columns.
for e.g for following operation, I can see Salary as 2022, but all other columns are NULL, I want to see pre images (old values) for those columns which are not Updated. I want to see combination of New and Old.

Photo Stream updates incorrectly

I've noticed that Photo Stream does not match my Camera Roll. Often, many of my photos that I take (in the same session of shooting images) will not make it into Photo Stream (if any get in).
I just experimented again at home all connected to my home, Wi-Fi network. Weirdly enough, when I take pictures, the new photos correctly land in the Camera Roll but they don't go into the Photo Stream on my iPhone.
Instead, what gets added to the Photo Stream are images that I've added via the web, emails from others, or WeChat. It starts with the most recently added image and goes backwards in time, adding increasingly earlier added images from these sources -- but not the camera roll.
For each new shot taken by the camera, an old previously imported image will add into Photo Stream.
Photo Stream is ON on both my iPhone 5s and MacBook Pro -- all have the most up-to-date OS releases for OSX and iOS.
I've even turned OFF the Photo Stream on my iOS device, cleared out the old Photo Stream, and then turned it back on.
Any help on this strange behavior would be greatly appreciated!

FIXED!
Okay, I had tech help stumped! He'd never heard of this problem.
Solution:
- I had to connect my 4s to iTunes.
- Select photos tab and then click on: Select sync photos/ Select albums and events, but DON'T SELECT ANY ALBUMS.
- Then sync/apply to iPhone. This sync the photos with no albums selected. After sync your phone's photos should only the camera roll, no albums showing.
- Then reselect a couple of albums, sync, check photos on iPhone to make sure they display correctly. Then load the rest.

Photo stream update frequency on Windows 7

Photos seem not be showing up in my photo stream location on my PC for the last few days. I hadn't really been paying attention to how often the PC syncs up with the photo stream. How quickly are photos supposed to show up in the photo stream location? I am not seeing photos from a couple of days ago at this point.

First make sure iCloud and Photo Stream are installed on your PC. Connect the iPad (or iPhone) to your PC with the USB cable and start iTunes on your PC. Once your iPad/iPhone shows up under "Devices" in the sidebar (which you may have to enable), click it. Then click "Photos" at the top of the iTunes screen on your PC. Check the "Sync Photos from" box, and then under that, click "Selected folders." (Ignore the pulldown menu to the right of "Sync Photos from" -- the important thing is to tick "Selected folders.") A pane should open up below that with a list of folders including "Photo Stream." Choose that and then at the bottom of the screen click Sync. This worked for my Windows 7 box.

Why won't my Photo Stream update to my new iPad?

I just upgraded to an iPad4 and after a bit of a struggle all my apps were successfully installed from my original iPad.
But, photostream only lownloaded the last 2 weeks of photos (only about 6 from my iPhone).
How can I get the rest of what's in PhotoStram uploaded to the iPad?

My Photo Stream not updating in new Photos app

I do NOT have iCloud photo library on, so why won't My Photo Stream update?

Same issue here. I installed iCloud 4.0 for Windows, but it looks like this started before I did that according to when the photos stopped syncing. I've done what you described, but have gotten no photos on the PC since September 7, 2014. Photos are being shared from my iPhone to iPad just fine, though.

Shared Photo Streams Not Updating?

I have had the same problem - Shared Photo Streams (evidently) do not update dynamically. There is also no button to force an update in the photo app either.
On your iDevice by going into Settings > Photos & Camera and switching off "Shared Photo Streams". Go into your Photo app and check that they have been removed.
Now go back into the same Settings sub-menu and re-enable "Shared Photo Streams". Back in the Photo app, you will see the shared stream update with the correct photos.
I have the exact same problem with any shared photo streams I create on my iPhone - they do not appear on my iPad unless I do the above. The same goes for iPhoto/Aperture on my Mac.

Shared photo stream not notifying on updates

Each time my shared photo stream updates you are supposed to receive a notification and a badge app on the photos application.
Despite these being turned on I am not receiving the notification or the badge.
Is this a bug?

My shared photo stream was working fine, and then suddenly it wouldn't receive any photos from other users, and wouldn't send them my uploaded pictures? How do i get it to work again? I also got an email that someone subscribed but it never showed up on my phone as subscribed, just invited. I feel like it just needs to refresh or something. Any tips would be appreciated!

1) Read the 4 sections of http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-12-2000/jw-1229-traps.html and implement the recommendations. Although it is concerned with Runtime.exec() the recommendations still apply to Process generated by ProcessBuilder.
2) Read about concurrency in Swing - http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/concurrency/ .
3) Use SwingUtilities.invokeLater() to update your GUI.

Hwo to tell if Streams is up-to-date on the source database

Scenario:
* Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.2, Oracle 11.1.0.7
* Streams is being used to replicate data from source DBSRC to target DBTRG
* Weekly archiving job on DBSRC needs to check that there are no pending streams updates to DBTRG before it starts archiving data
* How can this be done with recourse to a DB link from DBSRC to DBTRG - anhtying in the DBMS_STREAMS or AQ which will tell us this?
