Stream Iphone 4 Display to Desktop?
Is there a way/App that will allow me to connect my iPhone to my Mac so that I can stream the iPhone's display for making a screencast?
I want to be able to record exactly what I am doing on my iPhone so that I can incorporate into a presentation.
I have seen Steve Jobs do it, but can the rest of us?

iOS devices do not pair with computers, as data transfer over bluetooth is not supported.
Computers are not airplay compatible unless you have downloaded an app to make them so.

Protect / limit the stream to display on my own site only?

Is there any way I can protect the displaying of the stream from being used (displayed) on a foreign homepage?
I would be great if I could limit the stream only to be shown on my on server / domain / IP address.
Perhaps there is some kind of logic in the streaming server where a IP address (or domain) can be defined that is allowed to show the stream?
Can this be done so no one can "steal" my stream and display it on their own site?Hi Nitin Goel
Thank you very much. I tried it and was denied access from other domains than what I defined in the allow tag. So it worked on the domain level...
BUT ... I could still see the stream when saving the html file (from a allowed domain) on my desktop and displaying it there.
I need to deny the displaying from desktops too. How to do this?
I will look into the access / auth plugin option. Do you have a good PHP example? -
Muse displaying the desktop site on android phone
I've designed a Muse website for both desktop & mobile: http://www.champlinwoodscondos.com. The mobile site displays properly on my iPhone, but my client's Android phone improperly displays the desktop version (and not well!). Here are her phone's specs:
Samsung SM-G900V
Chrome
Android 4.4.4
Does anyone know what the cause of this is and whether there will be a fix?

Looking for app that will allow me to control my iphone from my desktop. I would like to be able to send text messages, etc from my computer instead of using my iphone. I don't want to jailbreak my phone. Does anyone know of app like this?

There are apps that let you do the reverse (control the computer from the phone). I don't know of any that let you go the other way. It would be kind of cool if we could do this though. But, I suppose it could open up a Pandora's box of security problems for the phone itself. Just imagine somebody hacking into your phone remotely and using it without your permission.... -
I have reached out to this community as my Iphone display gone black and got the solution to keep home and power button pressed. It worked but I would like to know
1. Why it went black and is there a permanent fix for this
2.Will the IOS gets automatically updated as I feel the IOS was 5 when I got the phone in 2012 december

3. You should always update to the latest iOS your phone will support. Apple do not write the updates to make your experience worse. -
I purchased my iPhone from UK which is unlocked.
But Now I am back to My Origin Place i.e INDIA.

eg:
1) Accept my UK iPhone in India courier it to Purchased Place (Repaired it)
2) Accept my UK iPhone in India Take some difference assign me India iPhone.
3) Accept my UK iPhone in India give me any option to ugreade to iPhone 5 (Indian).
4) Accept my UK iPhone in India give me some Receipt (Courier me My new iPhone from UK).
5) Approve my VISA for going to UK again as it not easy for INDIAN to go there with some kind of this Reason.
6) Give the Postal Address where we can send our APPLE to get only Service and they can send it back to us if it got reparied.
As no one would like to go UK only to Purchase APPLE..
There are some personal reason they have to go to Other countries for ... and If some one is FAN of APPLE like me would do the same mistake that I have done..
7) If the APPLE wanted to serve their customer they would have get to the solutions with their excellent mind.
As far as I am concern I am just the USER of my FAV APPLE but.. .. I guess this policy would not keep me as the SAME FAN of APPLE as I am now...

You can get your information back if you have previously done a backup in iTunes or iCloud.

I have reset both my torch and playbook back to original only thing that I kept was my contact. And still problems I am a few min away from leave my loved blackberry and going android !! Or heaven help us Phone
Issues 1) playbook wont connect to desktop manager anymore

after downloading iphone pictures to desktop, itunes won't open. I downloaded itunes 10.6 (64bit) but get "Do you want the following program to make changes to your computer?" Apple Inc. I've clicked "yes", restarted the computer, and still no luck.
I also have the same problem, but the Software Updates tool doesn't recognise that Quicktime is out of date. Have you tried downloading Quicktime 7.7 Leopard from http://support.apple.com/downloads/#quicktime as this worked for me...?

If you upload a photo in the 'Photo Stream Uploads' folder (PC), it is automatically imported to iPhone (via Wi-Fi). How come when you delete a photo from the Photo Stream folder (PC), it is not deleted in the Photo Stream (iPhone)?? I mean doesn't iCloud automatically update the changes? thanks.
You cannot delete photos from the photo stream. You can only log into icloud and in your account, you can delete photo stream and start fresh. It is rumored that the next upgrade to iOS will allow deletions of single photos from the stream, but not yet.

Darwin Streaming Server on Tiger Desktop?
Is it possible to run Darwin Streaming Server on Tiger desktop. I don't have the 10.4 server. I make a lot of FCP videos and need to use DSS for testing.
I dowloaded the binary from ADC. That site says it only runs on the server, Linux, BSD or Intel.
Alternatively could I compile the source for 10.4 Desktop with XTools?

if it doesn't work over 24hrs connect it to a computer using itunes, and choose update, it'll update it with the newest firmware. -

You can't use the iPhone USB dock connector cable for this.
As already provided, if you have an iPhone 4 you can use an HDMI cable if your TV has an HDMI port/connection along with an Apple AV Adaptor.
