Stream to 2 stereos AND use internet

Hi,
I can stream to one stereo and use the internet, but when I stream to 2 stereos the internet stops working, even on another laptop that is not doing the streaming.
Everything is up to date.
iTunes 4.7.2
I have a base station and a remote base station set up as a WDS. I have two other Expresses hooked to speakers and setup as music/printer only. All units are on one network.
Any ideas?

Can you describe in a little more detail which part isn't working? For example, is the VPN not starting up when you start Firefox, or is Firefox not able to use the VPN tunnel?
If we can't solve it, here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
You could install Firefox 3.6 over Firefox 4 (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

I think this is probably a sign that your network could be better than it is.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first.

Safari or Firefox are the optimal choices. At times Safari does not open links with smooth pagination of fonts and lettering / graphics are not clear. So I opt for Firefox. Be aware that you need to close Safari to use Firefox. It has been my experience.that if I forget to close Safari and open Firefox at same time Firefox error message says oops! We need to reset or can't open try again.

Maybe you should test these things before calling people out, because these settings do function perfectly well.
iCloud is not supported on Snow Leopard or lower, why bother to mention it?
The OP has an iCloud account, and that can not be opened without Lion or Mountain Lion (on a Mac), IOS5 or 6 (on an iPhone/iPad)

Can ping and use internet, can not connect to ethernet printer on network

I have been pulling my hair out with this problem, have used proffesional support and not solved the problem to date.
1) Have Airport Express (6.3) (WEP128, Airtunes, Custom Name, all else default settings) connected via the ethernet port to an existing office network to hub/switch then ADSL modem and PC severs.
2) Have a PC laptop connected and working (now) without issues, can internet, print to ethernet printer, connect to network drives.
3) Have G5 mac (10.4.8, no fire-wall), cannot print or connect to printer, can ping printer and use internet, limited connection to network drives (BTW).
4) Can connect to printer and print when bypassing AX and pluging ethernet direct to G5.
5) Mac G5 is allocated the first available DHCP address 10.0.1.2 followed by the PC with 10.0.1.3
Would appreciate any input to this one.

The AirPort Express (AX) is creating a separate subnet and this may be causing problems. Configure the AX so that the option to distribute IP addresses is DISABLED.

Connect E63 with computer and use Internet on hand...

I would like to know if we can connect our mobile handset - E63 with the desktop and have access to Internet on E63 using the internet connection active / available on the desktop?
Eg: I have an image or a word file on my E63 that I wish to e-mail using the Internet browser. I would like to connect my E63 with my desktop / laptop using the data cable or bluetooth dongle and use the Internet connection available on the desktop ( when I do not have internet available on my E63) and then e-mail the image or Word file using the browser.
If yes, please let me know the complete procedure for the same?

I've done it through WLAN. My Mac is connected by cable to the internet and I just set it up to share the internet connection via Airport (Apple's Wireless Network). Then the phone detects it as WIFI and off it goes. (a bit slow, though).
But I'm thinking you mean connecting to a PC via data cable. I've heard someone do this with a Windows Mobile smartphone. Not sure if the S60 can be tinkered enough to make it work. (have a look see at www.modaco.org)

I've been having the same problem since iCloud appeared and complicated an otherwise trouble-free system. Doubling frustrating is that iCloud duplicates my .Mac account so I get two of everything in my Inbox. I turned off iCloud and now mail at least goes out but I can't delete the duplicate account.

No longer able to connect and use internet on any wireless network after upgrading to iOS 6

Everything worked great for the first few hours. But now whenever I connect to ANY wireless network on my iPad, it connects fine.. When I do anything that involves internet, the wifi logo goes away, and a screen pops up (as if you're using a hotel wireless network) and says "apple - page not found" at the top, and is an apple.com page. Even though there is no wireless symbol in the upper left corner, I can go to all of the links and everything, but outside of this one window the internet no longer works.
I have NEVER seen anything like this before.
I didn't do anything abnormal that would have caused this.

Traveling with Ipod and using internet shops in Asia

I have been searching for hours but without any luck. I am traveling India and Asia for 3 months. I have an ipod and a laptop. In Asia you can get online at small internet shops but I'm not always able to bring along the laptop and hook it up. Is there a way I can login to itunes download podcasts and video podcasts to the hard drive on the ipod and then if I have to move them to my itunes on my laptop. I am not able to download itunes on every computer in every shop in Asia.

Thanks mate, I will load it into itunes but first I need to get it from itunes to a memory stick or on to the hard drive of the ipod then I will load it into the ipod so I can listen to them. I am using a public computer that does not have itunes loaded onto it. I want to be able to enter my user name and password and get into itunes download the podcasts to a memory stick and then take that to my computer which has my itunes loaded on it. Streaming from Macbook Pro and using it at the same time?

Haven't decided yet if I'm going to buy the Apple TV or not, and I still have a few questions in the back of my mind. The biggest one being if I am streaming a movie from my MacBook Pro, does it still function regularly as a laptop or do I have to stop using it during the duration of the stream? I like to be able to work and watch movies or TV at the same time, and this is going to be a big deciding factor if I get one or not. Can anyone help? Thanks!

It does indeed. In fact when you use it, you probably wont even notice your computer is streaming content to the Apple TV.

I just got a used ipad version 6.1.3. I have an ipod classic version 1.1.2PC and I have a laptop with windows 7 and use internet explorer. somehow i have icloud on my ipad but no app for it. I cannot explain what I need --not enuf text--2 b continued

I have never used this--on my ipad it says I have an account with icloud and that I can syn all my devices but there is no app for icloud on my ipad.
I have never used my ipod myself--that is to put material on it. A friend did it and I registered with Apple and I did have itunes and a list of my stuff on my old pc but it is gone. I tried to get itunes on the pc I have--no sucess--5 + attempts yesterday. Today I tried to link my ipod to icloud. In the "settings" heading I do not have a "software" choice. I do not know what to do. Can someone help me. I am not very pc literate--so you might get frustrated. Thank You

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I have tried as you suggested, and when opening the "purchased" apps some have the icloud logo next to them, but I only have "OPEN" against "Find My iPhone". When opening it up, it goes through the same routine; needs to be updated before proceeding, and wouldn't update because I don't have IOS8.
Anything else I could try, or am I doomed!

Can i download previous versions of firefox? the new version does not allow me to use my VPN so i have had to uninstall firefox and use internet explorer instead (ugh!)

My macbook pro has been stolen and i had icloud and find my mac installed. If the thief was to wipe my harddrive and use internet recovery, will my find my mac still work?

I had my find my mac turned on and i was wondering if i could still track my laptop if the thief wiped my hard drive and the recovery partition, but if they reinstalled the mountain lion osx from the internet recovery would that erase the find my mac feature? Yes, if the wiped the drive Find My Mac would no longer work. The can't reinstall Mountain Lion without your Apple ID or an Apple ID of their own.

You need to open Mail>Preferences>Accounts>"Account Information" tab>and there input the required information for your Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP). Your Internet Service Provider will have the required information to give you to input here. Make sure that you also click at the end of the line "Outgoing Mail Server" on the arrows to get the dropdown list, and there click on "Edit SMTP Server List" and fill in the data in that resulting window also.

Using Firefox 3.6, I can't print anything on my HP printer from e-mail. If I change and use Internet Exployer, I can print e-mail.

I can't print e-mail but I can print PDF files or Word files. I was told by a computer pro that it may be a software problem. What can I do to correct this problem???

Follow the link in the first post above. I had to reset everything in the "print-print-printer "file for HP.
