Stream7 not able to connect to Apple Time Capsule

Hello all
I just got the Stream 7. it was not able to detect nor connect to my Apple Time Capsule. I am wondering if this is a hardware issue. it has no problem detecting my android device hotspot or my other router.

It looks like connecting windows to the time capsule requires some work. Lots of post here to get started by;

The iPhone does not transfer music and videos via Bluetooth. To move content from one iPhone to another, you will need iTunes or iCloud handle that. I have a macbook pro from late 2011 and i am not able to connect with apple Tv. what is my option for make conection and see my movies wireless?

How can I connect to Apple TV wireless with Mac book pro. this laptop doesn't have Air play function. Is any app I can use or new update will help me? I searched in web and found that if I go to system prefrences and click on display I can active Air paly but don't see same page in disply of my version of macbook pro. my device is made late 2011 and it looks it is not an old version.

The Samsung.. may not be able to see the Time Capsule hard disk..
because it does not contain any files it can read.
because it is not conformed to standard SMB file system.. the TC name is often illegal.. remove all spaces and special characters and keep it short.
Same for wireless name and all passwords.
There is no media player in the TC so it is useless for your TV even if it can see the hard drive .. the TC is a dumb backup device.

Connecting remotely to Time Capsule

I want to be able to connect to the time capsule over the internet from any location without my mac being switched on at home, will this be possible so i can access files on the drive.

Let me see ... do you have a static IP address from your ISP? If not, then No, you won't. If you get a static IP, you should be able to see the TimeCapsule from anywhere, but I am not sure you would be able to connect to it. All in all, this is really, really, really a bad idea. If you want to see it/use it from anywhere, you should set up proxy to sit between the drive and your modem and configure it as a DHCP server (control your network). Then mount the TC to that machine. You can use an old cheap PC (yes, they are actually good for something), set up a free linux dist (like Ubuntu), and then configure it to let you into your network and use the available resources (like the TC). Off course, like I said, you would require a static IP from your ISP.

Yes, it is very easy using a Mac if you have static public IP and the TC is the main router.
It can be done via iCloud and BTMM.. again just look it up.
It is very very hard to do it without iCloud Lion and latest TC firmware or static IP.
It should be accessed by AFP.. means no windows machines.
It should be considered carefully as there are some risks.. passwords my not be exchanged encrypted..
The right way is vpn using a vpn router and TC in bridge.

Have done both suggestions, still not working. Could it have somehting to do with my local network? I am using a wireless Internet provided by my apartment building so not sure if apple tv and my computer are not technically on the same "local network?"

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Since the upgrade on io6 on my iPad 3 n iphone4 I'm not able to do any face time with my family in India from Uk using Wifi, they keep trying me from india but it says connection lost and when I try it rings but there is no ring on their end.

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?
