Streaming Access Controller
hi
I've successfully setup a live broadcast with access controller that will prompt for username & password. However, is there anyway to disable the popup for entering username & password?
My idea is to retrieve the userid from the rtsp link, e.g. rtsp://<test>/<test.sdp>?id=abc. And the password is a static password for all user.
The qtaccess & qtusers are generated by the db whenever there is a new user, so only registered users are permitted to view the video. Even there is another person know the sdp addr, will still unable to view the clip.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

So from WLC Ports (Physical Interfaces) to the Switch is almost always an 802.1Q trunk. You create WLC dynamic interfaces to distribute traffic on the LAN, but these are essentially VLAN dot1q tagged interfaces (logical interfaces) to allow wireless traffic to distribute to the appropriate wired VLAN. Most deployments I do typically configure link aggregation between the WLC and the switch which would be trunked, any load balancing must happen on the switch as the WLC doesn't support LB schemes. Essentially the connectivity is Physical WLC port(s), to Physical Switch Port(s) dot1Q is configured on the switch ports. Dynamic interfaces (logical) identify where to distribute WLAN traffic to the wired network. Long story short you map WLAN's to VLAN's.
This is a great community with lots of experts willing to assist, so welcome.

Advice needed on fast streaming/access from external HD (Video/Music apps)
Hello,
I'm a computer musician and have reached the max on my internal SATA drive, and thus I'm looking for an effective, extra-fast external HD capable of intense sample streaming (i.e. quickly accessing many small files from different parts of the drive at once). I'm not looking for write speed, as that does not concern me. The main concern is "read speed."
In my search I came across this eSATA drive from segate which seems to have been designed with my needs in mind: http://www.creativemac.com/articles/...e.jsp?id=53423
However, it takes PCI 2.2, while us dual G5 users only have PCI-X, correct? Does this mean this particular eSATA drive will not work in my system? Are there any eSATA drives/enclosures that were designed specifically for PCI-X? Is eSATA worth it when compared with FW800 in my line of work? (I already own a Lacie FW88 drive as a backup drive, but can switch its application if needed). What is the best technology for fast streaming/access from an external HD?
I'm sorry if this topic has already been covered, but in my search I was unable to find any topics specifically regarding this type of use of an external HD.
I thank you in advance for any help you can provide!You probably want to look at an "e-SATA" Raid. The November ish of Macworld has a review of several "Mac friendly" units"

Is GRC Access Controller 5.3 compatible with NW 7.1
Hi Gurus,
I know that pre - requisites for installing GRC Access controller 5.3 is
NetWeaver 7.0
Application Server (AS) SP12
(ECC 6.0, NW04S or 2004S)
Is that compatible with NW 701 or 710 version also?
apriciate if will get any referance link , document for latest compatible NW versions with AC 5.3
Thanks,
Rupali B
Edited by: Rupali B on Jan 25, 2010 7:58 AMHi Rupali,
For NW 71 , you need to upgrade with GRC VIRSAHR 530_710 for Access control 5.3.
Check Note 1270574 - VIRSANH 530_710 Support Packages for 710. This notes is updated regulary. So read the not carefully before taking any action.
Gurus, Provide more information if you have on this. This will be useful for all...
Rupali, You can get the latest version and support pack compatibilty on SAP Support Portal..check that as well. for GRC access control 5.3. -
hi there,
i had some trouble with my iPhone 4s and got it replaced (great service, by the way!).but i lost a lot of the pictures that were on that phone.
now these pictures are all still visible on my apple tv photostream and my ipad that had photostream activated the whole time. but i would like to back up all my photo stream pictures on a local harddrive (to make a photo book for example) - and that does not seem to work. i can't download the pictures through apple tv and i can't access the photo stream pictures on my ipad through a sync with my computer...
now i upgraded my mac to lion and then snow lion because i heard i can access photo stream through the new iphoto. but the new iphoto only accesses the last 30 days of photo stream...
in the end it seems that my photos are stuck in an in-accessible cloud nirwana the good thing: they seem to be all there. the bad thing: i can't get them out of there...
is there any apple or maybe even third party app that lets me manage my full photostream? iCloud.com does not offer it (yet) and the apps do not seem to offer a solution.
any hints and help very welcome
thanks!
p.s.: apple, pls consider an iManagement feature for the iCloud webinterface (or as an app for the desktop). I have trouble with some of my playlists in iTunes Match. the order of playlists gets messed up between computer and cloud and that's annoying, especially with DJ mixes.andyBall_uk wrote:

Presumably, PhotoStream is syncing via iCloud , and att servers are being used.
Well, I am assuming something like that. What I'm wondering is why? Why is Apple (PS) talking to AT&T?
Perhaps a better question is, do they need to talk to AT&T?
I realize this is a rather obscure question to be posting here. But I was hoping someone might actually know the answer.
Thanks for replying. -
File or Memory Stream Access through Flex
Dear all
I create a desktop sharing application that is written in Flex. For desktop sharing I have a component that generates a series of images of a selected screen area, where only the changed screan areas will be transmitted. I would like to pass these images to flex/flash player to send it eihter over P2P or a Flash Media Server to the listening clients. My question is:
- Can Flex/Flash attach to a memory stream object that is generated in a C++ component? Does a bridge exist here that is performant enough?
- if this bridge is not possible, can Flex/Flash read from files of the hard disk? As far as I know a local-trusted sandbox is needed. How does this look like?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Marchi,
If you want a true desktop application you can use Flex and compile it to a native desktop application using Air. If you Want to read local files from the hard disk and upload them you can do this with a normal flex/flashplayer 10 browser application. There is no restriction on what data files you can open.
The following flex app opens images on the local drive and displays them, just to give you an idea of local file access from a browser app.

Did some kind of update occur during the last 24 hours that would interfere with the ability to access streaming video? We have a streaming web cam of an eagles nest and hundreds of people around the country, maybe more, cannot access it since early this morning.
3/11/2014 – Updated debugger and standalone versions of Flash player. These versions contain fixes for critical vulnerabilities identified in Security Bulletin APSB14-08. The latest versions are 12.0.0.77 (Win and Mac)
THAT... was the most recent update. Microsoft did a "Tuesday push", but it DIDN'T include any Flash Player update for Win 8 or 8.1.
That update was March 11. -
Issue while enabling Access Control for a Coherence server node
Hi
Im trying to enable access control for a Coherence server node, using the default Keystore login method shipped with Coherence. When i start the server i get the error "java.security.AccessControlException: Unsufficient rights to perform the operation". Please see below for the sequence of steps I've followed to enable access control. I just need to be enable Authentication (not authorization) at this stage
1. I have added the following entry in the Coherence Operational override file
<security-config>
<enabled system-property="tangosol.coherence.security">true</enabled>
<login-module-name>Coherence</login-module-name>
<access-controller>
<class-name>com.tangosol.net.security.DefaultController</class-name>
<init-params>
<init-param id="1">
<param-type>java.io.File</param-type>
<param-value>keystore.jks</param-value>
</init-param>
<init-param id="2">
<param-type>java.io.File</param-type>
<param-value>permissions.xml</param-value>
</init-param>
</init-params>
</access-controller>
<callback-handler>
<class-name>com.sun.security.auth.callback.TextCallbackHandler</class-name>
</callback-handler>
</security-config>
2. The following is the entry in the Permissions.xml
<?xml version='1.0'?>
<permissions>
<grant>
<principal>
<class>javax.security.auth.x500.X500Principal</class>
<name>CN=admin,OU=Coherence,O=Oracle,C=US</name>
</principal>
<permission>
<target>*</target>
<action>all</action>
</permission>
</grant>
</permissions>
3. The following is the content of the Login configuration file "Coherence_Login.conf"
Coherence {
com.tangosol.security.KeystoreLogin required
keyStorePath="keystore.jks";
4. The following is the command line tag for starting the server
java -server -showversion -Djava.security.auth.login.config=Coherence_Login.conf -Xms%memory% -Xmx%memory% -Dtangosol.coherence.cacheconfig=PROXY-cache-config.xml -Dtangosol.coherence.override=FOL-coherence-override.xml -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=6789 -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false -Dtangosol.coherence.security=true -cp "%coherence_home%\lib\coherence.jar" com.tangosol.net.DefaultCacheServer %1
Following is the output on the Console when running the command. It asks for a username and password for the JKS store (If i provide the wrong password, it gives a different error, which shows that it is able to authenticate aganst the Keystore). After i put in the password, it throws the error as shown below "java.security.AccessControlException: Unsufficient rights to perform the operation"

How to replace the certificate of Cisco 2106 wireless LAN controller for CAPWAP ?
I have interested in CAPWAP feature and I download the open capwap project to make Access Controller (AC) and Wireless Terminal Point (WTP). I had built the AC which used PC and WTP which used Atheros AP. The CAPWAP feature work well when I enabled the CAPWAP that used my own AC and WTP. When I got the Cisco 2106 wireless LAN controller (Cisco WLC), I configured the Cisco WLC to instead my own AC but I got the authorize fail in Cisco WLC side. It seem the Cisco WLC could not recognize the CAPWAP message which sent form my own WTP. I think this issue just need to synchronize the certificate between Cisco WLC and WTP.So I need to replace the Cisco WLC's certificate manually. Does anyone know how to replace the certificate manually with Cisco WLC ?
Best Regards,
AlanUnfortunately this Support Community is for Cisco Small Business & Small Business Pro product offerings. The WLC2106 is a traditional Cisco product. You can find this type of support on the Cisco NetPro Forum for all traditional Cisco products.

Streaming Netflix on our Samsung tv.
We were sold a Samsung wireless LAN adapter by a Best Buy associate which we were told would allow us to stream Netflix on our UN46C6300SF LED tv. When we tried we were unsuccessful. We chatted with Samsung support and were told that we couldn't stream Netflix on that model because it didn't have to correct app. So who's right, Best Buy associate or Samsung support guy.
You can find it here:

New Apple TV and Netflix streaming
Hi,
I have an "legacy" Apple TV running with iTunes 8.x
and am interested in getting the new Apple TV to give me
Netflix streaming access. (So I would have 2 Apple TVs
running in my media room).
So, question is -- do I need to upgrade iTunes to v10
to get Netflix streaming support on the new Apple TV?
Or do I need iTunes10 for the new Apple TV, regardless?
I've been hesitant to upgrade iTunes as I have had problems
with upgrades in the past (playlists disappearing, AppleTV disappearing,
etc.) I have also seen several postings with people having
issues with legacy Apple TV when upgrading to iTunes 10.
Thanks,
KevinWinston, you seem to be very knowledgable in the tv arena.
Maybe you can help me. My tv stopped connecting or is failing to connect to the itunes store. This occurred yesterday, for no apparent reason. There was absolutely no changes done on my end. I did query apple in regard to a movie that I rented that never appeared, but that was it.
All connectivity is working fine, I can podcast, listen to music, watch previews etc., I just cannot rent or download a movie, as it cannot connect to itunes store. I have deauthorised and reauthorised via itunes 10, and all seems OK, I can sync between itunes and my existing tv, but can no longer download movies or TV shows, as it seems to fail on handshake or authority or something...
Any leads would be greatly appreciated, as I have rented two movies, which I have been billed for, and they have been downloaded, just can't watch them...
Thanks,
Michael. -
How can I access instances from Interface Builder?
Hello!
How can I access instances build from the Interface Builder? For example, i know how to access Controller classes = just setting the class in the view identity. But I am missing some "connection" to my navigation controller. IB uses one, but in my code, i dont have one.
All my xibs file owners have as their identity class a View or TableView Controller. But shouldnt they have a navigation controller as identy if the View or TableView is using a navigation Controller?
thank you..thank you, .. i know.. the problem is, that i have different xib files, but i am not sure how i can connect them with their navigation controller / tabbarcontroller.
it seems, that
NSLog(@"pushing next view..");
[[self navigationController] pushViewController:nextViewController animated:YES];
is not enough. On the console, i can read pushing next view.. but it doesnt come up to the screen. -

Mac OS8.6 and keyboard access
Greetings.
I have an old PowerComputing Powerbase 180 computer, which I believe was based on the Performa. It has Mac OS 8.6.
After several years of not using the computer, I got it to boot up--but found the USB mouse (I added a USB card) did not function. The Mac said it could not locate the software. I must have thrown out the original mouse, which I think was broken, long ago.
I have not been able to find a convenient list of access keys and functions, for use on the keyboard, without the mouse. I am hoping to be able to operate the computer from the keyboard, locate the USB functions and turn them on (I think they are disabled).
Can anyone help me? I used to use these occasionally, but cannot remember how to work the computer from the keyboard. Thanks very much.
David Pendery
Taipei, TaiwanJan,
If you are still looking, you are probably going to think this is really elementary.
I was going to double check and go back to the system folder, as you suggest, and look for the Universal Access controller. I was working okay with the machine--after I had inserted the PowerComputing CD (recall that I was getting a question mark when I tried to start the Mac alone). After putting in the CD, the machine opened normally, with my original hard disk showing and controlling the computer (thus, I could get to the System Controls, yesterday). But then, something happened and I re-started, and then only the CD showed up, not my hard disk. So now I can't do what you asked, accessing the machine's actual control panels (the Startup Disk control panel on the CD does not show the original hard disk--which I think I could not select anyway, because I don't have a mouse).
So now I have this neutered computer running on the CD (by the way, again I was unable to startup the Mouse Keys that are located on the Universal Access control the CD). I have restarted, removed the disk, tried to start up, with no luck.
I used to to go through this on occasion, and was always able to start up from my hard disk. But I have not had to do this in years! I have had no such problems on my PowerBook.
So, what am I doing wrong now--and I know this is all elementary.... -

The driver thing says the gpu is usually 45c idle and 50-60 in game. CPU is 40c.
