Streaming music, movies using airplay and ipod touch on Macbook

I am not sure if this is possible but let me explain what I have with me.
I own an ipod touch 2nd gen, MacBook and airport express base station. Now ipod touch has iOS 4.2.1.
As title says, is it possible to stream music/movies from my ipod touch to macbook(instead of Apple tv). is it possible to use my macbook as an airplay device ? I know macbook doesn't comes with iOS, but I assume it is a superset of iOS.

You can only use AirPlay at this time to stream to:
1. Apple TV
2. Airport Express
3. Other compatible powered speakers

Apple has made several well-publicised statements regarding their commitment to privacy and the security of their various iCloud services. If they were to fall short of a goal they stated so prominently for so long, it would have a material effect on the company's value, not to mention being extremely embarrassing. I think they're pretty serious about it.
Like anything else though, iCloud is as secure as the passwords you use. To change your iCloud password read iCloud: Change your iCloud account password.

I cant find the airplay icon on Ipod touch...where do I find it if trying to connect to Apple tv?

You can double tap the home button, swipe (left to right) twice to bring up the volume slider and airplay icon. You will also see it within apps that are compatible. Make sure airplay is turned on in ATV settings and that both are on the same network. Ensure the iPod and ATV are is up to date.
Note: audio is on by default but not all will be enabled for video, which is up to the developer to do.

I cant stream HD video using Airplay

I cant stream HD videos using airplay and a specific iphone app that used to work properly before (Globo.tv).
HD videos from Youtube app work fine. Any idea on what is going on?
All softwares are updated to the latest version, wifi is fine, router is an Airport Extreme fully updated.
My iPhone is a 5S and the Apple TV is the latest one.
Mirrowing the app using the iPad and playing the Globo.tv app works fine with airplay, but i cant see the video full screen.

Updating:
Well, I tried removing and reinstalling the app. Nothing happened.
But yesterday i realized something: the Globo.tv is an app that provides some unprotected videos and lots of protected. To wach it you must have an account with them. Well, I do. And used to wach all videos with no problems. Well, I realized that at some "point" I now can only Air Play "opened" videos. All others protected with login process, does not work.
How login works: I need to login at the app once. Then I can wach any video I want.
Any idea what is going on?
Another info: I can start waching the video and then click Air Play. It won´t work. If i do the same with an unprotected video, it works fine.

You can plug the iPod into the same iTunes library as your iPod Touch and sync whatever content you like to it. There is no limilt to the number of iPads, iPhones, or iPods you can sync with one iTunes library, account, or computer. How you sync one device will not affect the syncing preferences of the other.

I used to be able to sync purchased movies from iTunes USA and Italy to my iPad 2 and iPod touch 4. No more, even before I upgraded to iOS6.

- Transfer itunes purchases to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
- You can also redownload them by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- When they are in your iTunes library, connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup.

It means that nano was used on a third-party software or synced from different computer to sync music. Does that nano show in iTunes? If yes, then restore completely. If not, then you may need to head to Apple Store and see what they can do.

IPads and iPod Touches don't seem to have the same media copying restriction that my iPhone has. My main computer is at home. I have music at home and at work and sometimes I like to add it to my iPhone from work. I can do this no problem using my iPad or my iPod touch, but when it comes to my iPhone, I can only copy music to it from my main computer.
Why would the iPhone have this restriction but not the other two devices?
ps. Where's my "add currently playing song to playlist" button? I can't even find a third-party music app with this feature.

Although it isn't normally possible to sync an iPod/iPad/iPhone with two computers (or manually manage an iPhone from more than one) it can be achieved if all computers have copies of the self same library. See Re: how do i sync on a second laptop without the data on my iPhone 5 being erased?

My iPad and iPod touch won't play the music I choose. Has anyone any idea what the problem could be?

Since the IOS 5.0 update my iPad 2 and iPod touch (3e generation) won't play the music I choose. I choose a song from Michael Jackson for example and it's going to play something completely different. The images has changed aswel, so it is a bit strange.
I treind to sincronise them again, but this doesn't change a thing. Has anyone any idea what could be the problem and how to solve it?

So just in case anyone else ever runs into this...
I solved the issue and it was that between the plug of the new earbuds being slightly thicker than the Apple earpods, and the width of the case that I was using for my iPod, there wasn't a connection being made to activate the remote function.
I took off the case and now the earbuds work exactly as they should!

The screen is telling you to connect the iPod to your computer with the USB cable and restore via iTunes on the computer.

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

the iphone never really picked up wi fi when it was used as a phone and it didnt really matter because he had unlimited internet but it still wont go on wi fi. does any one know why it is doing this?
The iphone works fine other wise i just really want it to go on wi fi. We just got new wi fi too and all of our other apple products go on the wi fi just fine. I dont know if its because its newer or what but my brothers 1st gen ipod goes on wi fi just fine.
