Streaming on iOS

I cant use streaming apps at home (Netflix and Youtube) but only from iOS devices (iPad, iPod, iPhone and Apple TV), when I try to stream from other devices like PS3 or even my Macbook it works fine.
I´ve tried to stream form a flash browser for iPad (Puffin browser) and it worked.
Anyone knows what could be happening?
My best guess is that my ISP is blocking me, but maybe someone hera has the same problem and a solution
Thanks in advance
(Sorry about anything worng in my englsh,, its not my native language)

If your tag is correct, first thing is to update to iOS 8.3
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
Try restarting your rounter

  • How to Delete Entire Photo Stream in iOS 6

    Here's how to delete and reset the entire Photo Stream in iOS 6.
    WARNING: This will delete all 1000 photos in your Stream so make sure you're ready to do this (by backing them up).
    Delete the Photo Stream
    Note: You cannot have your device hooked up to a PC or Mac during this procedure.
    In Settings, select "Photos & Camera" (in the left column on iPad).
    (On the right in iPad) move the slider for "My Photo Stream" to Off.
    It will ask you if you want to keep or delete your photos. Choose Delete.
    If you're doing this on multiple devices, make sure to complete these three steps on each device before continuing.
    You have successfully turned off and deleted the Photo Stream, but you're not done. Now you need to reset the Photos app so that it won't re-download the photos from iCloud if you choose to turn Photo Stream back on.
    Reset Photos App
    Launch the multi-tasking App Tray. On most devices, press the home button twice.
    Remove the Photos app from the App Tray, by holding down the Photos icon until the red X appears on the icon.
    Press the red X. The icon will disappear from the App Tray.
    You're done! Now, you may launch the Photos app from the home screen if you wish.
    Turn Photo Stream Back On (Optional)
    If you want to use the Photo Stream feature for future photos, you may turn the Photo Stream feature back on.
    In Settings, select "Photos & Camera" (in the left column on iPad).
    (On the right in iPad) move the slider for "My Photo Stream" to On.

    I haven't done it in a while but you may want to connect the phone to your Mac and open Image Capture on the Mac. I don't remember that it allows deleting by folder but if not it still would be faster than doing it one by one on the phone. The delete icon is at the lower left (red circle with line through it).

  • Live streaming to iOS

    Hello,
    I know there's quite a lot of tutorials around here about this but since i don't use the livepkgr app i'm rather struggling.
    So:
    - I use the "live" app
    - I customized the "main.asc" a bit so that it records live broadcasts in mp4 in a subdir of /www/, which can be reach through mysite.com/livestream/thefile.mp4
    - I also added some code in the "main.asc" so that the user have to add login/pass in the streamname in FLME to not get it "hijacked", etc.. works all fine so far.
    - AMS is on port 1935 and i did'nt install Apache since i had my own installed already on port 8080 and nginx on port 80 (as a proxy).
    - I currently use jwplayer to display the live broadcast, in such manner --> "rtmp://mysite.com:1935/appname/streamname"
    This works great but obviously not "iOS ready", so i'd like to get rid of jwplayer (or at least use the HTML5 only feature of jwplayer) so that iPhone/iPad can play the live stream as well.
    I followed a few tutorials but i ended up with some "Manifest file not find" from jwplayer, eventhough i generated a .smil and .m3u8 file named same as "streamname"
    Thanks for your help and sorry for my english,
    Regards,

    iOS support Apple HTTP streaming format HLS. 'live' app is used for RTMP streaming - please refer to http://help.adobe.com/en_US/adobemediaserver/devguide/WSeb6b7485f9649bf23d103e5512e08f3a33 8-8000.2.3.html for more details on how to configure (HTTP streaming) HLS streaming to iOS devices.

  • Strange behaviour of iPad Photos app/My Photo Stream with iOS 8.1 and Yosemite

    My requirement is surely simple and commonplace, yet is proving impossible to achieve thanks to Apple's weird design of the Photos app and the way My Photo Stream works.  I'm very technically savvy, but I'm quite prepared to admit I'm being stupid if someone can explain what I'm doing wrong!  I have an iPad Air running iOS 8.1 and a MacBook Pro Retina with OS X 10.10 (Yosemite).  I've enabled iCloud Drive on both.  iPhoto on the Mac is at v9.6.
    I have a selection of 109 photos from a recent holiday in a folder on my MacBook, which I would like in a folder on my iPad as a nice way to show them to friends.   iTunes may work but seems so incredibly clunky and old-fashioned I hoped I could do it over the network or via the cloud.  I would use (and often have used) Dropbox, which is reliable and logical but rather tedious as you have to save each photo one by one.
    So, with a little research and playing around, I found that I could get them to the iPad using iPhoto on the Mac, with My Photo Stream enabled.  However, it doesn't seem to work.  The photos were all created yesterday so had yesterday's date (I'd removed EXIF data that contained various earlier dates).
    I've just done the following test:
    I deleted all photos from the iPad (using the Photos app)
    On the Mac, I deleted all photos from iPhoto
    In iPhoto Preferences on the Mac, I turned on “My photo stream”, with the two sub-options also enabled
    I imported the 109 photos into iPhoto
    On the iPad, in My Photo Stream, I saw the photos gradually appear over the next few minutes
    A  minute or two later, when no more seemed to coming, I found that 103 of the original 109 were in My Photo Stream.  So, strangely, 6 photos were missing
    Even stranger, in the “Photos” tab, under “Yesterday” 37 of them could be seen.  If I understand this correctly (which I may not), that means 37 of them had been copied from the My Photo Stream to the iPad itself.  Am I right?  Why only 37?
    On the iPad, I added a new Album called Summer 2014
    I selected all 103 photos from My Photo Stream to add to the album
    In the Summer 2014 album, I briefly see “103 Photos” at the bottom of the album, but this quickly changes to 66 as photos that briefly appeared now disappear, leaving only 66 left in the album
    Checking in Photos/Collections/Yesterday, I find there are now 66 photos (rather than 37 as there were earlier) - the same ones that are showing in my Summer 2014 album.
    If I attempt to manually add any of the missing photos to the album, nothing happens - the album refuses to allow any more than the 66 it has.
    In iPhoto on the Mac, if I click on the SHARED/iCloud entry on the left, I see all 109 photos, which I think means iPhoto has correctly shared them all, so I suspect the problem is with the iPad.
    Yesterday, when I was playing with this, the album allowed 68 photos.  I tried deleting one and adding one of the missing photos, but it wouldn't allow this either, so I don't think it's objecting to the number of photos so much as disliking particular ones.
    I've got 7.7GB free space on the iPad so I don't think it's a space issue.
    Can anyone help?  If it's a bug in iOS, iCloud or OS X, how can I report it, given that I'm out of my 3 months support for both my machines?
    Thank you!

    Well done lumacj! This is a good workaround. Forgive me if I offer a simplified version here (this works if original photos are in Photo stream):
    1. In "My photo stream", tap on select at top of screen
    2. Tap on each photo you want to send via WhatsApp (circle with "√" shows for each photo)
    3. Tap on square box with arrow at bottom of screen (Share) - NOT "Add To"
    4. Tap on "Save image(s)"
    5. Check that selected photos now appear on "Camera Roll"
    6. From WhatsApp, send photos as you would have normally

  • What is new/special about Family Photo Stream in iOS 8?

    When it was announced at WWDC, I was hoping Family Photo Stream would automatically upload all photos from all of my family's devices into one photo stream that would then synchronize across all the other devices, including iPhoto 2013 on my iMac.
    But it seems each family member has to manually add photos to the Family Photo Stream.
    In iOS 7, it was already possible to create a shared photo stream, add your family members, and enable them to post to it.
    So what, if anything, does iOS 8's Family Photo Stream do that is different?

    Yes, as far as I can tell, after enabling Family Sharing and my wife and I now having different iCloud accounts on our phones, Photo Stream does not appear to be shared between us any more. It appears that only the "Family Photos" album is shared, and we have to manually add photos and videos to that.
    One of my favourite features of sharing the same iCloud account across multiple devices was that Photostream synced all our family's photos across all devices, no matter who took them. This appears to be a missing feature in Family Sharing for now -- perhaps Apple wasn't aware this was something people were doing?

  • Bluetooth streaming issues iOS 8.1.2

    I have been seeing issues with Bluetooth audio streaming on my iPhone 5c, when connected to Harman/Kardon Soundsticks III BT.
    Initially I thought it was an issue with the speakers, but changed my mind when my friend's Nexus 4 was able to stream audio properly.
    I do not face any issues with pairing or connection. But the audio playback will stop suddenly, even though I can see the progress bar and timer on my iPhone.
    And sometimes, I hear a continuous buzzing sound from the speakers, after audio playback stopped.
    Today I also saw issues with connecting to my Nokia BH-104 headset. I can see Bluetooth got connected, but music simply does not stream to the headset. When I try playing, music is played over phone speakers, not the headset. I tried using the headset with my Lenovo laptop, and its working fine.
    Tried resetting phone, even restored as new when i upgraded to iOS 8.1.2, but nothing has yet worked for me.
    Anyone facing similar issues?

  • Liev streaming on ios using FMS

    Dear All,
    I have made an application using cs5.5 and java with struts2 for live streaming through FMS.
    Architecture is like:
    Flash player makes get stream from camera and then transfer stream over FMS. And this flash player component is embedded in html page.
    Flash player contains code for all work flow like making connectivity with FMS interacting user via javascript and capturing live stream from camera. This application works well on IE, mozilla.
    But when it comes to woking on ios it fails as ios, as IOS does not support flash player. I have gone through many solution provided on different forums, I get there to use Adobe air with making connection using http live streaming protocol and then pakaging the solution for ios. But as per my point of view this would work as an apps for ios rather than browser based application as in my previous case. can anyone suggest me alternate solution to launch live video streaming solution to work on ios on its browser. If I am wrong in perception of working phenomenon of FMS with ios via flash player or adobe air then also please suggest.
    Thanks
    Nitesh Kumar

    I realize that using JW player might not be the exact solution that you are looking for (sounds like you're trying to do something customized for a particular need), but using JW player can help you test your FMS set-up to make sure everything is working. We've used JW player to stream multi-bit rate live events to both Flash and iOS devices at the same time.
    > So how can we make connectionn with FMS and publish stream through jwplayer.
    Step 1: Set up Flash Live Media Encoder and create the live streaming manifest files for JW player. These instructions are taken from this page:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/devguide/WSd391de4d9c7bd6 09-52e437a812a3725dfa0-8000.html
    FMS live Streaming instructions:
    Install Flash Media Encoder (FMLE) on the encoding computer (the computer what will be encoding the live stream): http://www.adobe.com/eeurope/products/flash-media-encoder.html
    Open the Flash Media Live Encoder rootinstall\conf\config.xml file in a text editor.
    Windows is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2
    Mac OS is Macintosh HD:Applications:Adobe:Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2.
    rootinstall\conf\config.xml i.     Set the tag //flashmedialiveencoder_config/mbrconfig/streamsynchronization/enable to true
    Save the file.
    Open FMLE: single bitrate stream.
    Format: Click on wrench and change to appropriate settings: Profile (main), Level 4.1 Keyframes 4 or a multiple of <FragmentDuration> in the applications/livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent/Event.xml file. The default value of <FragmentDuration> is 4000 milliseconds.
    FMS URL: rtmp://localhost/livepkgr
    Stream: livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent&adbe-record-mode=record
    i.     IMPORTANT: &adbe-record-mode=record query is needed to avoid the problems discussed in the threads below.
    ii.     See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/959974
    iii.     http://forums.adobe.com/message/4311876
    iv.     http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981286?tstart=0
    Click Start.
    Test streaming: http://www.osmf.org/configurator/fmp/:
    i.     http://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m
    ii.     iPad: http://localhost/hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.m3u8
    Publish and play live multi-bitrate streams over HTTP
    Live multi-bitrate streams:
    Edit rootinstall\conf\config.xml file (step 2 above) on the FMLE computer.
    On the streaming server: go to FMS 4.5/applications/livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent
    a. Remove the Manifest.xml file from the liveevent folder or rename it.
    b.     Browse to rootinstall/applications/livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent and edit the Event.xml file to look like the following:
    <Event>
    <EventID>liveevent</EventID>
    <Recording>
    <FragmentDuration>4000</FragmentDuration> <SegmentDuration>16000</SegmentDuration>                  <DiskManagementDuration>3</DiskManagementDuration>
    </Recording>
    </Event>
    3. Create the f4m and m3u8 manifest files: NOTE: JW player needs a .smil file, not an f4m manifest.
    a. On the FMS 4.5 computer, open rootinstall/tools/f4mconfig/configurator/f4mconfig.html in a browser.
    b. F4M manifest file:
    Stream uri: livestream1.f4m 150kbps, livestream2.f4m 500kbps, livestream3.f4m 700kbps.
    Base uri: http://localhost/hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent (replace localhost with FMS internal/external IP address).
    save the file as liveevent.f4m to rootinstall/webroot or on the webserver.
    JW Player does not support f4m files. Must use a smil file for this.
    c. m3u8 manifest file: Open rootinstall/tools/f4mconfig/configurator/f4mconfig.html in a browser.
    http:///hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream1.m3u8 150kbps
    http:///hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream2.m3u8 500kbps
    http:///hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream3.m3u8 700kbps
    Save file as liveevent.m3u8:
    #EXTM3U #EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=150000
    http:// localhost/hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream1.m3u8
    #EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=500000
    http:// localhost/hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream2.m3u8
    #EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=700000
    http://localhost/hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream3.m3u8
    4. Publish live streams to FMS:
    a. Start FMLE.
    b. Click the wrench next to Format, Open Advanced Encoder Settings, set Keyframe frequency to 4 seconds.This value matches the <FragmentDuration> value in the applications/livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent/Event.xml file. The <FragmentDuration> value is in milliseconds.
                   c. FMS URL field: rtmp://localhost/livepkgr
                 d. Stream field: livestream%i?adbe-live-event=liveevent OR livestream%i?adbe-live-event=liveevent&adbe-record-mode=record Change liveevent to whatever name you want (i.e. Test)
    Flash Media Live Encoder uses the variable %i to create multiple stream names: livestream1, livestream2, livestream3
    To use another encoder, provide your own unique stream names, for example, livestream1?adbe-live-event=liveevent, livestream2?adbe-live-event=liveevent.
    PUBLISH URL: rtmp://localhost/livepkgr/livestream%i?adbe-live-event=liveevent
    IMPORTANT: use the following query parameter: &adbe-record-mode=record
    5. Test live streams:
    a. Flash:
    Open rootinstall/samples/videoPlayer
    In Video Source, enter the following: http://localhost/liveevent.f4m
    b. iOS: Open Safari.
    Open http://localhost/liveevent.m3u8
    Once you create the live streams and the smil and .m3u8 manifest files following the steps described above, set up a test page using JW player (see their documentation and download the files referred to below from their page).
         This is the basic set-up that we use to stream live multibitrate live events (using a smil and m3u8 manifest file created above):
    1. Use JW with javascript file: put <script type='text/javascript' src='jwplayer/jwplayer.js'></script>in the <head> section of the page. I've renamed the javascript file jwplayer.js (look in the JW folder to find the appropriate js file).
    2. Embed the player into the page: put the following code in the <body> of the page:
    <div id="jwplayer"></div>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    jwplayer('jwplayer').setup({
      'autostart': false,
      sources: [
        { 'file': "Manifests/liveevent.smil"},
        { 'file': "Manifests/liveevent.m3u8"}
      rtmp: {
        'bufferlength': 5
      'width': "640",
      'height': "480",
      'image': "Splash/live-poster.png",
      'primary': "flash",
      'stretching': 'exactfit'
    </script>
    Sample .m3u8 manifest file: (replace localhost with your ip, Test with whatever you named the stream in FMLE).
    #EXTM3U
    #EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=200000
    http://localhost/hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/Test/livestream1.m3u8
    #EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=400000
    http://localhost/hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/Test/livestream1.m3u8
    #EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=800000
    http://localhost/hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/Test/livestream1.m3u8
    Sample .smil file:
    <smil>
              <head>
                        <meta base="rtmp://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/Test/"/>
              </head>
              <body>
                        <switch>
                                  <video src="livestream1.f4m" system-bitrate="200000" />
                                  <video src="livestream2.f4m" system-bitrate="400000" />
                                  <video src="livestream3.f4m" system-bitrate="800000" />
                        </switch>
        </body>
    </smil>
    You have to follow Adobe's FMLE instructions (linked above) and the JW documentation to get this to work.
    http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/forums/jw-player/setup-issues-and-embedding/22581/emb edding-jw-player-and-using-with-fms-45-livestreaming/
    Good luck.

  • How to integrate flash media server 4.0 live streaming for iOS devices ?

    Hi All,
    I have website which has live streaming module its working fine, same module i want to integrate for iOS devices. For live video streaming we are using FMS 4.0. So please let me know how we can integrate this for iOS devices using flash media server 4.0.
    Thanks in Adavnce
    Mohammad Sharique

    You need to place the crossdomain.xml in the webroot folder. Create a text file in the webroot folder using notepad, and call it crossdomain.xml. The text below will give you a wide open access policy, which is fine for testing.
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "http://www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
    <cross-domain-policy>
              <allow-access-from domain="*" />
    </cross-domain-policy>
    For debugging HTTP streaming I recommend you get hold of something like Charles or Fiddler. These will greatly assist in pinpointing any issues.

  • AMS 5 Stream to IOS and Flash HELP

    I have been trying to follow the tutorials but must be missing something basic.
    I am using Wirecast to send data to AMS 5 Pro.

    </embed></object>
    </body>
    </html>
    However the above code does not work for an IOS device.  So, what am I doing wrong that the tutorial URL's won't work correctly.  I need to be able to use PC and IOS, so I would like if I could get the URL's given in the tutorial to work, or some code that would allow me to use what is working in the html example to be able to access IOS.
    I can see where the stream is starting in:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Server 5\applications\livepkgr\streams\_definst_\ABC123

    You may have a problem with your iTunes connecting to the internet.
    Try this,
    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
    (Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
    In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
    Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

  • Publishing multi-bitrate live streams for iOS

    I'm having difficulties publishing multi-bitrate live streams that can be viewed on an iPad/iPhone.
    I'm running Flash Media Server 4.5, and have carefully followed Adobe's Tutorial on streaming live media (http) using hls found here:  http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/devguide/WSd391de4d9c7bd609-52e437a812a3725df a0-8000.html#WS0432746db30523c21e63e3d12e8340f669-8000
    After completing the above tutorial, the video can be seen just fine on my desktop computer via the flash plug-in, but it's not working in iOS...
    When I go to what I believe to be the proper URL, (http://myflashmediaserver.net/myevent.m3u8),  I get an error message on my iPhone and iPad saying "The operation could not be completed".
    I have created two set-level manifest files (one .f4m and one .m3u8) for the live stream using the Set Level F4M/M3U8 File Generator and saved them to the WebRoot directory, but alas, no love.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Mike

    I just finished going through the short and sweet tutorial on the Adobe website "Capture, encode and stream live multi-bitrate video over HTTP to Flash and iOS", which confirmed that I seem to be doing everything right, but I'm still getting the "The operation could not be completed" error message on both iPad and iPhone.
    Grasping at straws, I'm wondering if it could have something to do with some of the "hacks" I was asked to make in the other tutorials, (which, oddly enough, weren't mentioned in the tutorial mentioned above).  Specifically:
         • Edit FMLE config file on the Mac I'm encoding the live video on (change <streamsynchronization> from false to true)
         • Delete/Rename the "manifest.xml" file in applications/livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent directory
         • Edit "event.xml" in applications/livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent (change <segmentduration> from 40,000 to 16,000)
    However, I've tried running this with the above hacks as well as in their non-hacked state and am still not seeing success.
    Please advise.  Thanks!

  • Photo stream on iOS 7 selectively uploads photos to iCloud!?

    Hi all,
    Today I took a dozen of photos with my iPhone 4s running iOS 7 while I was outside (without WiFi connection). When I came back home, and connected to WiFi I exected all photos to be uploaded to iCloud (I have Photo Stream enabled and this worked always fine under iOS 6). After having waited for a couple of hours, I noticed that even one photo hadn't been uploaded. I took a couple of more photos to test it and they were uploaded rather quickly. I even tried to take photos without WiFi connection and as soon as I was connected the test photos were uploaded. So why is Photo Stream uploading photos selectively or does any of you experienced the same problem?
    Thanks!

    this exact same thing is happening to me.
    my 2 iphones, ipad, and mac use the same apple id. i updated one of the iphones (both are iphone 5s) to ios 7 and notices that none of the new photos being taken by this iphone was uploading to the photo stream (although it had no problem displaying photos taken by the other devices on the photo stream).
    after reading the above post, i tried the same thing. i used the updated iphone to take some new photos and they quickly appeared on the photostream. but only these new ones do, and not the others i took over yesterday and earlier today.
    really confused about this selective uploading to photo stream. please help
    thanks!

  • Spark VideoPlayer issue with streaming in iOS Devices

    Hi,
    I’m working in a mobile application using Flex which needs playing remote videos.
    So, we are having some problems with the streaming of FLV videos in iOS devices. When we play a streaming video on iPhone or iPad, after some time (about 1 minute), the application just crashes and closes.
    We are using:
    - FLV video format;
    - Flex 4.5.1;
    - Flash Media Server 3;
    - Spark VideoPlayer component.
    It doesn’t occur when we are using Android devices neither when we are accessing medias located in our local network (including in iOS devices). The problem occurs only when we are accessing medias located in an external FMS server through iOS devices.
    I would really appreciate if someone could give any help about this problem.
    Thanks,
    Luis Vasquez

    FMLE Settings as follow:
    Video:
    Format H.264
    Frame Rate: 29.97
    Input Size: 320x240
    Bitrate: 200 kbps
    Profile: Main
    Level: 3.0
    Keyframe Frequency: 3 Sec
    Audio:
    Format: AAC
    Channels: Stereo
    Sample Rate: 44100
    Bitrate:56 kbps
    FMS URL: rtmp:server/livepkgr
    Stream: livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent
    I try to access the web using http://server:8134/index.html and no luck and also try IP address and no luck eather.
    The modules are enable, the one you mention in the link provided (4a).

  • Audio Sync Issue streaming to IOS devices?

    Hi. We are trying to stream live content to both flash and IOS devices using the FMIS 4.5 and the stock livepkgr application. We are using the FMLE 3.2, h.264, with the main concept AAC audio codec. We have set the streamsynchronization variable in the FMLE XML setup file to "true"
    Flash player equipped devices can see the stream fine, with no audio issues. For IOS devices, the audio is in sync when you first connect, but after about 30 seconds the audio is starting to get out of sync. If I stop the playback on the Ipad, and re-start, it is in sync again, but goes out again...
    Any ideas?

    Make sure you have updated mainconcept encoder.. Here is an issue which came fixed in mainconcept plug-in version 1.0.6 .. More info at http://www.mainconcept.com/products/apps-plug-ins/plug-ins-for-adobe/aac-encoder.html
    Or use FMLE on Mac(if you have)..

  • I can stream from ios to new airport express but not from windows 7 or powermac G5

    I have new airport express and older apple tv on my network.  Both are connected and found by all devices - Windows 7 laptop, Powermac G5 and all ios devices.  I can stream music via airplay to both airport express and apple tv from ios devices (one at a time of course).  I can stream from itunes to Apple TV but cannot connect to the airport express!  It shows up and I get the dredded error: An error occured while trying to connect...
    I tried some of the many ipv6 suggestions that I've seen here but nothing is working.
    Anyone have the setup?  Is this an airport express setup issue?  Please help!!!

    OK, I'm tipping my hat to Apple's (new) online experts. Great job.

  • Photos not going to pc photo stream after ios upgrade

    After spending 2.5 hours with Apple phone representative on 10-31-13, I still do not have an answer as to why once I completed the upgrade to ios 7, my photo stream on my pc no longer contains any photos taken after the upgrade.  I had to send Apple  logs and their engineers are supposed to call me back.
    I am getting this weird "desktop icon" in place of photos.    I had been using i cloud for 18 months prior to upgrade and all had been working fine.  They had me reset phone, computer restrted 10 times and  upgrade i cloud, reset all settings for photostream and ios settings...still no photos uploaded to my pc.
    Very frustrated and just wondering if anyone else is having similar issues.
    Thanks.
