Streaming on Justin TV

I'm looking to stream on Justin TV. I want the highest
quality stream possible, but something that isn't in the thousands
for expenses.
I'm wondering what type of computer specifications I should
have.
Processor: Quad Core or Core 2 Duo?
Video Card: How much MB? Recommendations?
Sound Card: Will integrated work?
Capture Card: Best (affordable) one that will work?
Memory: How much?
Hard Drive: How big? Specs?

I got a huge problem everytime i visit a site like justin.tv veetle ustream freedocast or only a site with a live stream in it my browser freezes and i ned to close it it stops to react sometimes i hear a sound on justin but the picture of the stream is frozen and my browser does not react back
when i watch livestreams on popout it works thats weird
i think it all started after i deinstalled msn but i m not sure about that pls someone help me i tried on ie or firefox browser both same problem

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Question about streaming

When I go to start streaming in Fme I noticed where it says average on the bottom that the frames drop past 2000 under ouput. Is that normal? On the top where its says current those 0 drops. I'm streaming to justin tv, my currents settings are set to: format- vp6, fps 25.00, input size 640 x 480, output size 640 x 480, bitrate 650. audio format mp3 , channel stereo sample rate 44100 Hz, bitrate 128. Are my settings okay or to high. I'm ruuning on a single core 2.20 ghz laptop. Is whats under "current" what the viewers are seeing live?

Output drops means CPU power (as here single core), RAM and internet upload speed is not capable to handle stream you mentioned. To fix this, you can try lowering resolution and/or FPS. Also switch to H.264. You will get less frame drops from that codec with your setup.

and then embed your own player but take the streaming video and make
it play on yopur website in your embedded player

Create a folder inside application folder(the folder name becomes application name) and create a file called main.asc inside it...And write the following content in main.asc file...And it will do basic record for you..Please find related sources in help manuals...Server side action script is pretty elementary and explained in detail in help docs..Thankyou Bye.

Help No Audio In FME 2.5

I'm trying to stream to justin tv using a dazzle capture device, and i'm unable to get audio using Flash media encoder 2.5. I downloaded something called virtual cable, ran audio repeater ks but still dont get any sound. I tried to use FME 3.1 and 3.2 but when I open either of the two, they dissapear. I also get a error message in both 3.1 and 3.2- Assertion failed program file.\inpin.cpp line535 Expression Succeeded. So because of that I'm switched to FME 2.5., but I can't select a audio device, theres nothing there to select. Any help would be great thanks.

Better if you install latest FMLE version 3.2 from
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/flashmediaencoder/
and then try Dazzle 100 DVC. if you are getting error on launch. Delete "startup.xml" using these steps.
1. In Window Explorer, type %appdata%
2. Go to Adobe/Flash Media Live Enocder <version> and delete Startup.xmp
3. Launch FMLE again.

I want my AVI files from Hard disk for FMLE

Is it possible to get AVI files from my Hard disk for FMLE if yes How..?

Not sure what you mean but if you want to use FMLE to stream video from your harddrive I think you also need Camtwist or Wirecast for that. I use Camtwist and FMLE for that. If you for example stream to Justin.tv remember to mute the sound on your channel there or you get a strange loop. It´s kind of tricky to set up a good stereosound for broadcasting and I use two soundcards and a small cheap Behringer mixer for that.
I think it´s possible to play them back from another computer too if the videocard on that computer have some sort of video out port you can hook up to your capture card on your broadcasting computer. You ´d need a capturecard that FMLE recognizes.
You can also just burn a DVD and play it back from an ordinary external DVD player that you hook up to your capturecard. Even works with a VCR if you have one and can get the files over to tape. But as I said you need a good capturecard that FMLE recognizes.

When I try and stream on Justin.tv it gives me this this allow or deny option and AS SOON AS I HIT ALLOW it crashes the entire browser. It was working perfectly fine yesterday for one instance now its giving me this crap. I've tried it all reinstall proper removal including registry and restarting and reinstalling and I'm stumped. I have the same motherboard like 'Tansen89' and other hardware almost too, but other OS - windows 7...
everytime i watch youtube or other flash online movies my computer freezes, sometimes the sound freezes and sometimes my comp just restarts...
i am searching for solution for 3-4 months or smth like that...and it gets me very crazy, i tried EVERYTHING (uninstall flash with uninstaller, installing the lattest version, reinsatlling windows, removing hardware and other 100 things).. i spare many hours surffing on google to found solution....
nothing helps...
There must be something that can help to fix this problem, because last year when i watched online videos or flash videos everything worked perfectly, and now, last 4 months, i have been having this problems...
Pls help me, i need flash for my job...
I dont know, do i need to call directly to Adobe and ask there what to do or what??...

Flash Media Live Encoder Crash

I use FMLE to stream on Justin.tv and I am currently having some difficulties. Before Justin.tv changed us from the standard video player to the widescreen video player on Monday, August 3, 2009, the settings I used from Justin.tv's configuration file was streaming my video correctly and without problems. I changed my video resolution to stream my video at 630x350 (widescreen) and had 2 things happen. It would either close the program after a few minutes of streaming it or it would give me log errors in the encoding log section saying "Unexpected encoding detected" which would automatically terminate the broadcast stream. I had asked help from Justin.tv and they told me to do this and that and when they gave up, they just showed me this website.
Please tell me what encoding options I should use to stream on Justin.tv's widescreen video player without any choppiness, frame rate issues, and disconnections. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for the response. I actually toyed with the program a little bit and I found out that the video size was way too big to handle the frame rate and bir rate, thus dropping them more than inputted. I was able to get an awkward size, like 354x198, but still able to broadcast in widescreen in Justin.tv's new video player. I should've known at first that the video resolution was too big at first. Thanks anyways. Issue solved.

Flash player crashes all my browsers

Hi,
The problem appears on a new and clean XP SP3 (or SP2)
installation.
I changed my graphic card last week, no effects...
There is a virus or something causing this kind of crashs?
Maybe a trojan on my External hard drive, but nothing found
after a complete scan.
I tried to uninstall/reinstall all flash player components,
no effects.
I realy don't know what to do.

My browsers (all of them) crash when I view any cam streams
at justin.tv or ustream.tv but it works on youtube.com
What is the error message your browser displays when it
crashes? Click on More Details and post the result here. Do you get
ipcamera_mjpeg.ax errors? That's what I get.

FME 2.5 / 3 Freezing entire computer on startup. Any Ideas?

Hello, I am using FME 2.5 (have tried with 3 as well) and VH Multi Cam Studio to stream to justin.tv. This used to work before I installed visual studio 2008, which i need for work. Now when I start up FME 2.5 / 3 anytime (even a fresh reboot), it freezes my entire computer, which then requires a hard reset. It pops up VH, then the FME Flash screen, then freezes. I don't even see a log or anything. I have searched everywhere to figure out why this is happening, but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas on how i could fix this issue? Thanks a ton!

First I would try if VH Multi Cam Studio works in grapedit,
if it runs, try perhaps another Capture Device in FME,
(Defaulting to another device in the startup.xml)
perhaps deinstall VH Multi Cam to check if FME comes up,
or you can use VS2008 to check which module crashs!

Camera device not found

We added a h.264 IP camera. We can reach it via internet and IP address. Our router is set with port forwarding. Camera is working fine. We can remote access. Flash media live encoder shows that no camera is attached to or computer. How do we tell FMLE where to find camera?   We are using windows 7 and trying to live stream to Justin.tv.   We have followed J.tv instructions for h.264 camera, but can not connect due to camera device not being found. We are using config file in FMLE. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Generic DirectShow Source Filter for Network IP Video Cameras
This source filter works with any Network IP Video Camera that supports capturing still JPEG image over HTTP.
Instructions:
1. Download the x86 edition of the driver from http://www.umediaserver.net/umediaserver/download.html
     NOTE: The 64bit edition of the driver was not detected by Flash Media Live Encoder so be sure to download the x86 edition
2. Start FMLE and select 'IPCamSourceVideo' for video device
3. Click on the wrench icon for 'Device'.
4. Enter the camera URL for capture of still JPEG image over HTTP. Example:
     http://81.201.204.198/axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi?resolution=320x240
5. Click OK and after a few seconds the IP camera feed should show in the preview window

Wintv-hvr850

IM having problems. I'm triing to stream video from my hard drive..I have wintv-hvr850. In encoder i see my devise in the drop menu on encoder but both screens are blank. i think it has something to do with defualt setting on tv tuner like you said to other guy..something about using s cables..but im not even triing to use tv right now..just triing to stream fron hard drive..Is it possible that even though i am playing the video i want to watch on the tv tuner that the encoder is triing to stream a live show from the cable connection instead of the file im playing on the tv tuner?

QUESTION..is it possible to just convert my video's into a flash
format? Then would i be able to just stream them with the Adobe
encoder? I see the sample tab that lets me browse my computer for
files? Some one told me about Avermedia Hybred max tv tuner that i
just went and bought, but still having same problems. This one said it
works with windows 200 but i have a feeling my processor isnt fast
enough. Think i have old pentium 2 processor on my sony laptop, not
the pentium 4 it says system requires so another wasted $80 i guess.
damn this is getting expensive triing to learn this.
What would be my best bet on triing to find a way to do simple

tries that seetoo program but it has no controls to try and limit the
lagging and other problems and freezes up most the time, problably
because of my internet connection is only a 277kbps up speed

Framerate & Bit Rate Problems

I use FMLE3 to stream to justin.tv...
Since I changed to a fast Vista PC...and want to stream in High Quality, I seem to reach even lower rates as with my slow XP notebook I streamed of.
Settings: H.264 - Framerate 30fps - 320x240 - BitRate 650 kbps Video & 128 kbps Audio
Outcome Statistics: Framerate 10 fps - Bitrate 217 kbps video & 128 kbps audio
Can anyone help?

Which h264 profile are you using - main or base? If you are using main try switching to base. What is your cpu usage when you get 10 fps output?
You must be observing some frame drops. Are they occuring at the device(input) level or encoder(output) level? You can see this in the encoding stats panel. Please attach it's screenshot if possible. Are you sure that your device is capable of providing data at 30 fps? fps list is a static one and not the ones supported by the device. Btw, which device are you using?

Abobe Flash Media live encoder 3

I am having problem streaming to Justin TV. I get connected
and disconnected repeatedly. I cant figure it out. I think all of
my settings are correct. Have you ever heard of this?
Please let me know asap as I am trying to get this to work
for a school project.

Have you checked volume slider position in FMLE? If it is set at 100% it would increase the audio level of sound card. Drag slider to lower value to reduce the volume level.
