Streaming via bluetooth connection!!!!

Hi everyone..my problem is a little bit hard to explain.
I've an application that do rtsp streaming and it works well.
Now i want to enable this application to use a Bluetooth network.
I want to connect via the bluetooth network to a pc and use the connection provided by the Lan to stream on the mobile instead of using gprs or umts and everything should be embedded in my application
My questions are:
1) Is it possible or i'm crazy?
2) If it is,what bluetooth profile/protocol should i use for connect to my Lan.
3) If i succed. How can i use this connection for streaming instead of the realplayer connection?I do streaming passing a rtsp locator into a player..but it seems to have no choice about the connection to use!
Thank u for any suggestion!! Help me!!!!

Hi, Paranoid_Android,
Can u tell me how to do rtsp streaming ???

  • Streaming via Bluetooth to Apple TV

I'm thinking of putting an Apple TV in my SUV where there is no network so my kids can stream content to the existing built in Entertainment Center. Can Apple TV use Bluetooth to receive steam content via iPhone or iPod? Similar to AirPlay?

bluetooth don't have enough bandwidth for that sort of thing even if appletv supported it
plus bluetooth is noterious for people not being able to keep audio and video (when video is not don by bluetooth) in sync well would assume all devices and std's where audio and video were seperated would suffer greatly from not being in sync

  • Can I send music from Mac Mini to my home stereo via Bluetooth connection?

I recently purchased a new Intel Mini with built in Bluetooth, and I wondering if I could use the Bluetooth transmitter to send iTunes music from the Mini to my home stereo system? If so, I assume that I would need to purchase a Bluetooth receiver of some sort to connect to the audio input on my stereo? Any ideas on which make/model of receiver would work with the Mini?

    Hi.
Unfortunately, you cannot use the bluetooth module to transmit audio to your stereo.
Why? Because Tiger does not support the A2DP bluetooth profile (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), which is required to broadcast stereo audio over bluetooth.
Apparently, Leopard will support this profile (you'll have to wait for its final specs).
Meanwhile, there are a couple of wireless (wi-fi) options available, including the Apple Express with AirTunes.

  • Is it possible to transfer photos, files from iphone 5s to macbook pro via bluetooth?

Before I got the iphone 5s, I was using a Nokia phone.  I was able to transfer photos, files from my Nokia phone to macbook pro via bluetooth connections.  It was very simple and POSSIBLE (even though apple support staff said it was not possible to do so).  My macbook pro does NOT need to be paired with Nokia phone as long as it can DISCOVER the nokia phone and vice versa.
Hence, after i got the iphone 5s recently, I'd expected both devices (iphone 5s and macbook pro) to communicate and connect via bluetooth as easily as Nokia phone.  However, I was disappointed to find out the iphone 5s kept "searching" for discoverable device even though my macbook DISCOVERED the iphone!!  Thus, I was NOT able to transfer any files from these two devices.
Any apple technical people care to explain why BOTH are apple products cant work?  A Nokia phone and macbook can.  Very strange, isn't it?

Althought, you can use bluetooth to transfer photos, files from iPhone to Macbook,However,it is so slowly,if you want to quickly copy photos/files from iPhone to Mac,you can use tools or software to help you, such as iStonsoft iPhone to Mac Transfer,This is a very professional tool,Hope this helps!

  • 8220 unable to connect to Mac via USB connection

    hello
I installed the software, but none of the file transfer menus are available.
    please help
    thanks,
    Llyane

I called a vw dealership (in South Australia) today because I have an iphone5 and a Tiguan and experienced the same thing (after i had purchased the lightening/30pin adapter).
I was advised that the media interface software is not compatible with iphone5.  VW will eventually update the software according to ol'mate at the dealership, but it will be at an expense to the consumer allegedly.
I know that there is a iphone/vw media cable one can purchase from VW however, I believe this to only work with iphone4 or older?
Maybe try an older generation ipod to use for the car if all ur music is in itunes?
if anyone can correct me, I'd be more than happy to know... going to try my older generation ipad and see if there is any truth to the tale.... eventually.  Until then i'll stream via bluetooth :-)

  • Using Address Book to send SMS via Bluetooth

    Hi all,
I recently upgraded to 10.4.6 (from 10.4.5) to take advantage of the new iSync support for the Nokia N70.
(I had previously been using a modified Metaclasses.plist hack for this and prior to the upgrade to .6, restored the original .plist)
I also followed the advice in Apple article 303419 about removing the phone from iSync.
So, upgrade fine and re paired phone with iSync but now find that I can no longer use Address Book to send SMS message or dial a call to current contact.
This worked fine with the hack!
    Any ideas?

  • Audio streaming from phone to yoga 2 pro via bluetooth issue

    Hi everyone,
I have got a Yoga pro 2 recently and the problem I'm having is that I;m unable to stream audio from my Nexus 5 phone to the pc through bluetooth. The device and the pc paired normally during setup. Though I find it odd that when I turn off bluetooth connectivity on the phone and turn it back on, the pc does not automatically connect so I have to unpair or remove and redo a new find and pair for the two. Ok, now the problem is after the connection is set nothing happens and there is no way to stream the audio to the yoga pc running windows 8.1. On my other pc, a Sony Vaio, also running win 8.1 pro (upgraded from win 8 pro) , once the phone and the Sony are paired via bluetooth, a windows pops out to immediately play the audio. I have check all the bluetooth drivers and they are up to date, and I even downloaded bluetooth drivers from lenovo support but no change. What's missing? Why can I not stream audio via BT? Why nothing happens when connected?

Bluetooth tethering is sharing your phone's internet connection with the computer, that's why there is an extra charge.  This is not what you want.  I would go into the bluetooth settings of both your phone and computer to make sure you are not missing something.  Also, an easier solution (bluetooth is unbearably slow for file transfer) may be to look into the app called AirDroid.  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zYW5kLmFpcmRyb2lkIl0.

  • Is it possible to stream live video from a camera to an iPad3 via bluetooth or a cable?

Is it possible to stream live video from a camera to an iPad3 via bluetooth or a cable?
I want to use my iPad as a screen for a reversing camera in my van and want to know if this is possible. do i need a bluetooth camera and is there a specific one that will connect to the iPad? Or is there any form of adaptor that I can plug the camera straight into the iPad?
    Any ideas?

    no
only "live" thing one can do is to airplay mirror the screen of a ios device or a newer mac with mtn lion

  • Can I Stream Video via Bluetooth?

Wondering if there is a way to stream video from my itouch to a video system for my car via bluetooth or other wireless method?

What about trying to use appleTV in my vehicle? In theory I would be able to send video to the appleTV device that would then be hooked into my car video system. I basically want a wireless network setup in my vehicle minus any actual internet connection. Is this possible?

  • Stream Soundcloud from Android to Mac (via Bluetooth) ???

Hello, im new to mac. Basically I have my Galaxy S4 and Id like to be able to play / stream any Music (Soundcloud) to my MacBook Pro Retina which is connected to Speakers via HDMI.
Is there any way to stream music via Bluetooth or Wifi to my mac?

Does anyone know how or if it's possible to stream my music from the iPhone to iTunes via bluetooth or wifi? Essentially I want to share the iPhone's library with iTunes (I know one can go the other way).
Here's why: I'd like to stream my music at work to my computer's speakers without taking the phone out of my pocket. I obviously don't have my home music collection on my company computer. And I figure if I place the phone on my desk to plug it in and play through iTunes, I could easily walk off without the phone. That would be bad (out of contact) and potentially sad (stolen).
It seems right now the only bluetooth connection to a computer is for the remote application.
Wait until November. Airplay/Airtunes iOS 4.2 announced for iPhone to iTunes/iTV. If you want a BT audio stream now, you can add a dongle to the PC for headset streaming.
As far as WiFi file transfer iPhone to iTunes, you can't. There's talks on it but nothing concrete. Except JB.

  • Cannot get my iphone 4 to connect via bluetooth to another phone or my pc

I cannot get my iphone 4 to connect via bluetooth to another phone or my PC, despite activating bluetooth on the iphone it just says 'devices' 'searching' 'now discoverable'. I have put the 2 devices very close to each other as well.
    Anybody have any ideas?
    Thanks

That's because it's not supported. The iPhone supports hands free devices, keyboards and A2DP audio streaming. Bluetooth can only be used to a computer for tethering. Some apps can establish peer to peer connections for gaming and data sharing, but that's it.
What you're trying to do will NOT work.
