Strobe and Creative Suite? and HTML5 Video?

The most recent Strobe release (StrobeMediaPlayback_1.5.Sprint4-full.zip), included an html5demo.html
The Dreamweaver team just announced a Kaltura.com-based HTML5 Video Player widget.
Is the Strobe html5demo.html any indication of HTML5 Video support by Strobe?
Also, regarding the core SWF-based Strobe, are there any plans to provide any direct SMP integration with Creative Suite applications?

What had me very concerned is system requirements on the box state that a "multicore" processor is required. The smaller iMac (best suited to my budget) comes with an optional dual-core i5 processor, and the larger iMac can be equipped with quad-core i7 processors. I wasn't sure if "dual-core" qualified as "multicore" in Adobe's specification.

Colour management between creative suite and iPad/iOS

Does anyone have any insight into colour management for imagery between creative suite and iPad/iOS. ? i.e using the appropriate Proof set up across indesign/photoshop/bridge to as close as you can mimic what you will see on the iPad?
We're seeing quite radical differences from what we shoot in our studio (which is consistent on all our screens across the studio) to what we see on uploading to iPad. How can we best mimic the iPad colour space?

MAC installing Acrobat Pro X and Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium pop up ?

Hello,
I have an Acrobat Pro X PKG (for MAC) from the Univeristy that should have a serial number inside the PKG. The installation works well.
On the Acrobat Pro lauch I saw the main windows, for 2-3 secondes and then it goes a way. A Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium pops up asking me a serial number???

Thanks for your response, Mylenium. I finally had time to try this on the weekend, and that cleaned up nearly all the warning messages, but unfortunately it didn't work for Acrobat Pro X. I also deleted my old CS4 and ran the Cleaner Tool again, just in case that was causing problems.
I found this - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-1310-error-writing-file.html - and I patiently tried every solution mentioned, but after hours of mucking about with this and trying to install this many times I simply don't know what to do next.
The problem appears to be the Conflig.msi folder and I have checked that I have access to this folder right up until I run the CS6 install. After I get a message saying that I haven't been able to install because it is unable to write to C:Config.msi I go back to that folder and find that my permissions have changed. It seems to be the install process that changes this - is that possible?
I'm hoping someone from Adobe Support will read this and respond. It is very hard for me to access live chat as the hours only suit people in the US and I'm in Australia.

Photoshop CS 6 and Creative Suite 5

I currnetly have Creative Suite CS5 on my laptop. I found out Camera Raw does not support my new camera. I have a copy of Photoshop CS6. Can I install CS6 and just update the Photoshop, or even make a stand alone version of Photoshop separate from Creative Suite?

yes, you can install ps cs6 along with your other cs5 programs (including ps cs5). they are all compatible.

Can I install Photoshop stand alone upgrade and Creative Suite on same machine?

I'd like to be able to install my Photoshop CS6 Upgrade on the same machine as I am running Creative Suite 5.5.
I'm using Windows 7 64bit.

I have CS5 Photoshop stand alone but it's not installed on same machine as Creative Suite 5.5.. its on a laptop. I use Photoshop mainly but don't want to stuff up my Creative Suite by installing CS6 as well..

Loaded Creative Suite and now my Final Cut Express HD won't start up

Loaded Creative Suite on my iMAC 20" and now my Final Cut Express HD won't start up. It wants to load but i only see it for a few seconds then it disappears.
Is this a scratch disk problem or did CS do this.
HELP !!!!!!!!

to repair permissions close all open applications go - utilities - disk utility - select macintosh HD, then click 'repair permissions' - and wait. The shutdown and re-start.

also, is your software up to date? Run software update from the apple menu, repairing permissions before and after.
To log into a different account and try launching FCE from there go to system preferences - accounts - and add a new user. Log into the new account and try to launch fce.
Ideally, it will help you to use the search function in these forums which can point you in the right direction before needing to post a question which may have come up in discussion before.

I have to re install my creative suite and acrobat

I am getting a new system this evening, and I need to get my software installed and updated on the new system, once I have the hardware installed. I have been waiting for literally WEEKS for support to call me and help me get everything fixed, but they never call when they are supposed to.
Help.

Your explanation leaves a bit to the imagination. What arrangement do you have that you expect Support to be calling you for weeks when you only got the system this evening?

If I am a Creative Suite subscriber do I have "free" access to the touch apps (Photoshop Touch, etc.)? I've been crusing around Adobe's site and can't seem to find a definitive answer (or find a way to download PS Touch without paying for it.

Does this mean that if I go to the Apple App store and purchase three Touch apps that Adobe will not charge me for the following month's Creative Suite's subscription cost? I don't see how that would work - is there some tie between the App Store purchase(s) and my Adobe ID?

I just received my copy of the Creative Suite Design Premium CS5 edition, and am preparing to buy a new Intel-based Mac. I wanted to get someone's advice on the purchase of an iMac, and it's ability to run the CS5 products.
Will the dual-core iMac with an i5 processor be sufficient, or do I have to go for the i7 quad-core system for optimum performance?

Creative suite and linux

I've had it to the eye teeth with Windows. When are we going
to get a version of creative suite that is compiled for Linux?
Adobe make a range of products already that run on Linux. WHY CAN'T
WE GET THE FLAGSHIP...CS3 COMPILED FOR LINUX?
It strikes me as amazing that Adobe's support for Mac is
legendary and the latest Mac OS is a flavour of Unix. So why-o-why
can they not produce a version of creative suite that'll run
natively on Linux. I'm soo sad.

I'm familier with Linux since 1995, do I have to shift to Mac or Windows to be able to use adobe creative suite ? I believe that installing CS on WINE is not a practical way. I'm very sad too.
