Stroke a path image and how to delete it or move it.

Hi, All.
A quick question about paths and the stroke path command. I have create paths and stroked them using the brush tool. This part works fine. However, I am not able to make changes to this stroked path image (in my case it looks like a wireframe image since I am only applying a stroke but not a fill. I also tried deleting these but haven't been successful.
How can this be done ? Once a path has been stroked how do I edit it (change stroke size, change color, delete stroke, …) ?

Use the direct selection tool to select the path and its points for editing. The path it self can be deleted from the paths panel.

You can create a single textbox using the textbox option here (This is for you to enter text - not for the visitor): http://jingsite.businesscatalyst.com/jing/2013-09-30_2212.png
If you want to create a textbox for the visitors to enter text, then you need to enter a form, and you can delete the "message" field from the "simple contact" form, but not the name and the email fields (those are mandatory and can't be deleted).
You may want to check external forms in case you want to have the form rather customized, to check if you can have forms with single textbox. An example would be "Jotform".

Hi,
Use the collective display of planned orders, transaction code MD16.
You can select the data by different options and choose which ones or all that you need to delete.
Click the Delete button to trash them.
This will delete planned orders without deleting the planned independent requirements and sales orders.

IHow do I know what the bit details are on an image and how to change it?

I wanted to send some wildlife images to a magazine who required us to send quality size 10
saved at 300dpi and then to send a copy of the same images at 72dpi and 8bit NOT 16bit.
I have no idea what they are requesting so please:-
1) How do I discover the details of my photograhs ie resolution 300dpi or 72dpi and how do I change it.
2) How do I discover the bit on images and again how do I change it as requested by the magazine.
Please please keep it simple as I am getting on a bit (pardon the pun) and do not understand computers.
Photoshop Elements 8 seems so complicated

Firstly I hope you had a great Christmas and I wish you a happy and healthy
new year.
I have been experimenting with colour changes in my Photoshop Elements 8 and
am encouraged having changed the colour of my car in the image.
I now would like to know how I change images that are black i.e. a crow in a
photograph or change the white in a photograph i.e. a swan.
I have looked at the Adjust Hue and Saturation and then the 'Master' but
there does not seem to be a facility to change black and white.
Also confused by Magenta and Cyan what colours do they represent please
should I ever need to use them?.

Here is the puzzle pieces , then the questions I'm asking
Example - my iPhoto Library file (its 36 gigs and yes I do create separate libraries)
If you add a single photo - Time Machine rightly sees a changed file and backs it up
Now I have Multiple Back ups of this large file
I want to delete only single back-up of this iPhoto file, NOT all instances of it

You'll find that rather difficult -- TM was specifically designed to manage space and backups automatically, as most users won't, or don't have the patience.
If it's only your photos you want to do this way, you might consider excluding them from TM and using a different app that will do traditional archive backups. CarbonCopyCloner and SuperDuper, for example, are mostly used to make bootable "clones" of your whole system (I use CCC for that in addition to TM). But both of them (and others) can also be used to back up only specific files/folders, and, optionally, retain archive copies of changed items. Just how that works, I can't tell you, but for details see their documentation (Google or VersionTracker).
CCC is donationware, SD has a free version, but I think you'd need the paid one, about $30.

No, it's apparently got to do with the way it manages it's actual files vs. hard links (sort of like aliases), and picking one hourly backup to be the daily, then one daily to be a weekly. It seems to require some shuffling around. I don't know the details (not publicly available, I think).

You will care when it gets so cranky it stops backing-up, or you can't find what you want to restore.
I want to have control of my files, they are huge in size and number and eventually
Even Terabit drives are filling up on me.
Then as mentioned, you may need different strategies, and perhaps different apps, for different types of data. Such complex strategies are actually quite common in medium to large data centers, but again, TM was designed mostly for not-so-savvy home users.

Two camera distortion correction images and how to get rid of

I noticed when I was using the Correct Camera Distortion filter that two images were created after I finished. The edges of the bottom image were peeking out from under the top, duplicate image. Not a problem until I went to copy and paste from image to another and the pasted image although showing up on a layer didn't show up on the image it was to be on. I guess because it's "lost" under the bottom duplicate image. Why do I get two of the same images in this situation and how can I get rid of them so I can continue to copy and paste an image from one photo to another?

Went to Filter>Correct Camera Distorition. Made changes. Clicked OK, I think. It's kind of a hit and miss process and I tried several Horizontal Perspective and Vertical Perspective settings before getting it right and, who knows, maybe I didn't click Cancel sometimes.

If you mean that you see both version listed in Control Panel > Add and Remove Programs then you most likely only have the version with the highest number installed. You posted with a Firefox 3.6.6 user agent. It can happen that the updater didn't remove or updated the registry keys properly and left the old keys.

Where is the printer queue stored - and how to delete all queue jobs?

I ran into a problem after I installed the Roll paper feeder on my Epson R1800. All of a sudden files will not print anymore.
One thing that may cause a problem is that there are two previous files (pdf I think) that someone else tried to print yesterday looking for a different printer on regular Letter size paper that are still in the queue because they did not print successfully. Everytime I tell Photoshop to print my photo on the Roll paper, those two old jobs pop back up on the printer queue gui and the system stops saying "wrong paper type for this job". Then I delete those two old jobs so there is only the Roll paper one left but it just sits there and wont print. When I launch the utility to check is all is kosher, sometimes it will give me the ink cartridge levels without a problem but sometimes it claims a communication error. I have re-checked the connection and everything and all is OK. When I launch the printer utility and tell it to print a Nozzle Check test, it prints it without a problem so there really is no prob with the communication.
When I restart the computer and the printer and try again, the two old jobs that I deleted in the previous step always reappear. So I wonder if, those two pdf jobs are kinda screwing with the system and should be deleted. But as i said, everytime I delete them, they look like they disappear from the list but my photo job just sits there on the queue without printing. The jobs are not stopped and there is no Hold on this one. If I quit and re-launch the print job, the old ones re-appear in the queue. So they must be stored someplace and are not deleting correctly. Does anyone know where this cue file is stored and what it is called? I have looked in Application Support and in Preferences but I can't see anything that looks like it.
I have downloaded the drivers from Epson for this printer again but that doesn't do anything either. I am using 10.4.11 on an 24 inch iMac intel 2.4Ghz. I only use the stock Apple utilities, no funky third party addon except for the Epson drivers. The printer utilities are:
Epson Printer Utility v3.01
Stylus R1800 utility v4.7(161.10)

Sooo, it seems we have some kind of Permission problem, have you Repaired Permissions ad rebooted?

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 5 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 5 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files!
Disconnect the USB cable from any UPS so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.
Or we could maybe go back to that window, click on Printers, remove it? (Thinking perhaps the jobs will go away with the printer!?)
Or would you like to delve into the hidden folders/files to try to handle this?
