STS -HOW TO REMOVE OPEN PLANNING TAB

Hi,
when a subordinate sends his plan for approval in sts,the approver at higher level could see a open planning tab through which he is able to change what his subordinate has planned.
how to remove that tab.
any advice would be highly appreciated.

Unlock the Network preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Cllck Advanced, open the DNS tab, and delete the server addresses. Click OK and then Apply.

Can't you open more than one tab?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Hi,
The enrollment of a Benefit Plan for an employee is dependent on the First Program Grouping and the Second Program Groupings assigned to him/her in the General Benefits Information (0171) Infotype.
Technically speaking, we can enroll/not enroll the employees for Plans only based on these groupings. All the Plans are displayed for employees, but they can enroll ony in a few based on these groupings.
Since your requirement is to not display them only in testing, and moreover, you do not want to touch the back end configuration settings, we may have to run some report to fix your issue.

How to Remove "Project Plan Template" from Project MSP client Enterprise tab / Project Server 2013

This should be easy one.
I have created a "Project Plan Template" and applied to the EPT. Now i open my MSP Client 2013 and go to New--> Enterprise tab and select the template i want to use to create a new project. However, there are unnecessary Plan Templates which
i want to remove from enterprise tab.
Please Help.

Hi Sandeep, Go to PWA,server settings, delete enterprise objects. Then select the project combo box. You will see the list of all projects of your instance, with a column named "type". In this column you will find projects, sub projects, master
projects and templates. Just sort along this type column, look for the templates, select the template to remove and click on the "delete" button.

Is there is any documentation to do the modifications of NWBC's webdynpro screens?
for example, there is a standard webdynpro screen in NWBC from SAP best practices to create sales order (lean). The lean sale order screen having restricted elements and tabs when compare with standard SAP GUI (t code va01).
So I want to include the few missing tabs for data entry.

I stupidly plugged in my Iphone 3Gs to a new Matrix Nike bike at the gym. When I sync'd my Iphone to my desktop Imac today I noticed this new tab (Nike +Ipod) in my Iphone summary folder menu tabs.

I too tested out the nike+ and want to remove the tab that has now appeared in my iTunes summary!
I turned off the the app on my iPhone and still it appears. Nothing in Prefs either.

You have a tab open, then you delete it. how do you re-open that tab. ctrl z does not work.

* right-click any other tab > Undo Close Tab
* from the History menu, check the Recently Closed Tabs list (it's probably the top item)
If the window is completely closed:

Although possibly not related to your problem, I have to remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. As for your problem, make sure your instructing Firefox to open the link in a new tab. For example, middle-clicking (pressing the mouse wheel or the central button of the mouse) the link will open it in a new tab.
If that doesn't help, it's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

You can't open a new tab in a pop-up window opened via JavaScript. 
If you press Ctrl+T to open a tab then the tab is opened in the parent window and not in the pop-up window.

Recently switched over from Internet Explorer. One of things I liked about IE was if I adjusted some of the tabbed browsing settings, whenever I opened a link in a new tab, it opened it at the very end of the tab bar. You can set the pref browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent to false on the about:config page.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold (user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default via the right-click context menu if they are user set
*Preferences can be changed via the right-click context menu: Modify (String or Integer) or Toggle (Boolean)

   In ESS areapage, there is some tabs for click. When I click it, it open a new window. But I want the content display inside the same content page. These are all standard areapage and worksets.

You can set the workprotect mode on a global level so its used for every user.
Systemadministration -> Systemconfiguration -> Service Configuration -> Applications -> com.sap.portal.epcf.loader -> Services -> epcfloader. Set the "workprotect.mode.default". After you have saved the entry. ricght click on com.sap.portal.epcf.loader in the tree menu and choose "administrate". Click on "restart".
