nano is at the language menu and English is highlighted scroll wheel will not set language nor do anything else
I have done all the reset restore etc as directed by apple site

If you believe it got wet, which is a problem for iPods, don't try to use it anymore and set it in a cool, dry place for several days. After this connect to to power (a wall charger works best) and charge it for at least 30 minutes, then Reset it (hold the menu and center buttons down for 6 seconds) while it is connected to power. After it comes to life, Restore it in iTunes.

IPod stuck at "language menu"

My husband's iPod fell into the hands of our 2 year old, and now will not go past the language menu. It charges just fine when plugged into the computer, but does nothing else. I think that it may have gotten wet with upholstry cleaner (it was on the couch in the spot that I was cleaning when I found it). I cleaned the exterior and set it out of his reach.
Please help if you have any suggestions!
Does water/liquid damage ever dry out, or is this ruined??

Ipod Stuck On Language Menu

Ok so i bought an old 4g Ipod U2....
it's new... open box, and i have the apple care warantee and everything
so i'm good for 2 years
i got it yesterday and i can't get it out of the language selection menu....
yes i've tried to reset, restore and everything else said on the forums. does anyone know what is going on?...

Nano stuck at Language setting menu

No luck with the 5 Rs, or restoring, or holding the menu and select buttons down. Nano stays on the Language menu and all buttons are unresponsive. Putting on Hold then taking off Hold does activate the display, but then no buttons or wheel actions work. Help please.

In some cases, the iPod might get into a state in which the battery needs to be drained before it can be reset so try these steps.
1. Disconnect iPod from all power sources and leave it disconnected for about 24 hours.

I have some forms stuck under the menu bar on Mac Mountain Lion

I have a stock market program and two of their forms have become stuck under the menu bar. Closing the program doesnn't help because when it's restarted it returns to the exact same spot and I can't reach the close buttons. I've tried changing the screen res put that doesn't help. Any ideas?

Title Bar stuck under the Menu bar and I cannot select and move it.

I often arrange windows around the desktop and sometimes I inadvertently push a window up too far and the title bar gets under the menu bar. Once I let go of the arrow, the title bar is too far under the menu bar and I can no longer reach it to move it down. The only solution is to close out the program and start over. Is there a way unbeknownst to me to select the title bar again and move it?

My E*Trade streaming watch list was stuck under the Menu Bar also. I tried reseting the screen resolution down to 1280 x 1024, and restarting the MarketTrader. There on the display was the stuck window, out from under. I resized and moved it to a central location, and resized the display back to my normal 1920 setting. And to my relief, the window Bar! Does iDVD work with Maverick? This is the first time I tried to burn a DVD using iDVD after upgrading to Maverick. It seems to get stuck at encoding menu stage and not doing anything.

I did not have a DVD handy to burn but I have just created a small 2 minute video and created a Disk Image and also a VIDEO_TS folder, the encoding worked correctly, so it works with some items.

My first generation ipod nano freezes on language menu. All a can do is reset it

Hi!
My 1st generation ipod nano froze today on the menu.
I've resetted it holding the select and menu button and i've restored it from itunes a few times.
Now it freezes on the language menu. It's like the wheel and select button don t work anymore, though they work when i reset the ipod.
I also reinstalled itunes and updated itunes and the ipod OS.
Same issue.
Anyone has an idea?

Stuck on Language select during installation

This is coming via my brother who is reinstalling Leopard. He is using the disk that came with his laptop and when he gets to the language screen, it gets stuck on language select. He cannot click continue, and cannot even chose to select another language (not that he wants to, just saying he cannot). He has tried tabbing through the options and there is no response. The cursor will move around when on the touchpad, but nothing else. He is not using any external keyboard or mouse.
I have tried searching, but cannot find an answer. Can anyone offer any insight as to what is happening and how to fix it? Thank you in advance for any advice.

We could try a mouse, but the keyboard is not working either, so return will not be able to do anything sadly.
I don't know if his problem stems from why he is reinstalling it. He was having really long load times after a restart or a shut down and it would take sometimes 5+ minutes to load the OS. The computer is not even a year old yet and we couldn't figure out what has happened. I got mine before him and have had no problems. So he was trying to reinstall and now he can't get past the language select screen. I don't know if it's totally freezing up...but like i said the cursor will move but no clicks or keyboard actions will register.

Elements 9 stuck on disc menu screen

Approx 4 min project with many hours invested in editing. Now stuck with disc menu showing. Clicking organize/project leaves that window showing with no ability to edit project. Where am I going wrong?

The screen that you show, is how the GUI initially loads, and few ever see it, as it gets overwritten in a hurry. When loading a very large Project, I have seen that for a moment, and knowing what to look for, can usually see if flash (and I mean FLASH) by with New Project, or smaller Projects on load.
When one has a GUI display issue, the normal cause is the video driver. However, PrE can hang on a few other things, like the audio driver, the version of QT installed, or something else.
I may have missed it, but what video card/chip do you have?
What was the version/date of the video driver, that you installed?
Have you updated your audio driver too? If not, that would be my next step.
What version of QT Player do you have installed?

My iPod is stuck on Language Selection screen

My iPod Nano 7th generation is stuck on language selection screen. Language can be selected but "Done" button cannot be pressed.

Sounds like a hardware malfunction with the device. Could be the clickwheel itself or the logicboard. Either way, you'll need to send your iPod in for service if you want to be able to use it again.

I opened Ps as normal and went to drag it to a second monitor and botch it by letting finger slip off mouse. Now Ps is stuck to top menu bar. Unable to make it a floating window. It says it's in 'Standard Screen Mode'... ???

It looks like Window menu > Application Frame was checked.
You can try checking it on and off.
Or reset the workspace:
Window menu > Workspace > Reset Workspace
Or last resort: Reset Preferences:
Press and hold Cmd - Shift - Opt immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be VERY quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your established preferences, which will lead to them all being set to defaults.

The hang on sync can be avoided by updating all purchased apps before beginning the sync of a new iPhone 6. With the current demand on Apple servers, updating your existing apps can take a couple of hours. After the purchased apps have been updated, the sync process will load quickly without the hang experienced by many when apps are loading to the new phone from a previous iPhone generation backup.
The same technique should resolve your iOS 8 upgrade.

InfoView Login - Language menu

Hi,
Is it possible to have a language menu during InfoView Login?
So that people can change between languages easier than with Browser or Locale settings within preferences?
Sometimes the same people need reports in two languages.
(I don't want to create the same report in german and english)
Or maybe it is possible to create a variable (within BEx Query designer or in Universe - doesn't matter) to define the language, that is used to display a report (basis BW query) in the chosen language?
(We have BOXI 3.1 SP3)

Actually we have english and german installed, so all we need.
But it doesnu2019t matter if I set Preferences to English, German or Browser Locale. I always get the English headers in my WebI Document. (The universe underneath has a connection to SAP BW, where both, English and German metadata are available)
There is also no difference between universe connection logon parameters (Language free or u201CDEu201D ; When connecting to SSO u201CSaveu201D or u201Cdo not saveu201D)
I always get the English headers! The only thing that is switching from English to German is the report and query name within the WebI report. (As soon as I translate it with translation manager).
One more information: Within SAP BW german is the default language, not English!
I would like to have one universe that could return English or German metadata.
I think this should work, right?
The next thing is, that I would like to return english or german metadata depending on logon or variable in the report itself, not the browser or preference locale settings. Because this way, one user cannot get both versions.
Any proposals would be very helpful.

My Zen 4Gig player is stuck at the menu scre

My Zen 4Gig player is stuck at the menu, and because of this I can't navigate through my Zen player. There is music and my player and it is fully charged but I can't move through menus. I also downloaded the latest firmware but that won't work either. Can anyone help?

I am also experiencing the same problems but with a 8gb Zen. After trying the recovery mode and installing the new firmware... I still have this problem. Now I'm stuck in recovery mode since I can't even navigate in that. The only thing that responds is the turn on/off switch.
Anyone know what to do?
