Final Cut Pro is stuck at compressor settings. What should I do?

Any luck? I'm stuck on this now too. I just lost 20 hours of work and now this. *** is wrong with FCPx?

VS seems to get stuck on loading user settings

This is my first time to run VS2012 on a newly installed Windows 7 box. The installation went smoothly. After I started VS, it showed the following message soon:
Microsoft Visual Studio is loading user settings. This may take a few minutes.
It has remained there for about half an hour. The process devenv.exe has been using about 25% CPU time on a quard-core machine. How long should I wait before killing the process?
Any tip will be greatly appreciated.

When open visual studio the first time, it may take a while to load your user settings. But your process seems taking too much time. Not sure what is the reason.
Since you can use it and it starts quickly, I'll mark this thread.

Loading compressor support

Hi....after trying to open Final Cut Pro X my computer gets stuck on "loading compressor support".....
How do I fix this?

You should be able to go into the App Store application on your Mac and click on the Purchases selection at the top. The next window to open up should tell you what you have bought and if it is installed yet. If it says Install, you still need to install it. It can take a while to download. If you interrupt the download, and start it again later, it will resume where it left off earlier. When the download has completed, your system will automatically install the app for you. When it is installed, you will be able to go to your applications folder on your docking bar and open it and launch Compressor. It will run as a stand alone application or from within Final Cut Pro X. If it runs okay as a stand alone app, then exit out of it. Afterwards, you should be able to now run it from within Final Cut Pro X.

When I use my iPhone and go into the iTunes Store Search, it clocks/gets-stuck in Loading. Also if I select iTunes and App Store in Settings, nothing happens. Any advice? Thanks.

Help! FCP X freezes at loading compressor resources

I purchased compressor 4 and it is installed in my applications folder. I went to restart FCP X and the splash screen for FCP X stays on the screen saying "loading compressor resources" and won't go away. I can quit the program via Command-Q, but am unable to do anything else. I have rebooted, wiped .plist files, but no luck...any ideas?

I have FCP7 installed. If that is the problem, then I am stuck with it for now. I have a huge amount of legacy projects, which I need to keep.
It is such a strange error, because everything seems to load, the elements and projects are all showing and just at the end it seems to lose contact with the external hard drive, which is a WD firewire 800. It actually still has a hold on it, because I can't dismount it at that point, because it says it is in use by FCPX. I haven't tried to see if I connect it with usb the problem might go away, although I saw that as a suggestion.
Actually in its latest reincarnation, FCPX doesn't hang, it just says there are no projects or elements because the hard drive has disappeared from its list. It sometimes works to then force quit fcpx, and tell it not to save the window settings and then restart it. It seems almost random as to if it loads properly or not. Doesn't matter if I am running 10.6.8 or 10.7. whatever. It is not so uncommon a problem, because there are a lot of posts about it. I haven't found the definitive post with a fix though.
I am now thinking of duplicating the project to a differnt external drive and then dismounting the external drive I have been using.

Game center stuck on loading mode

Game Center is stuck on loading mode. Bought Jenga app and now can't play app because Game Center won't load.

Recently i've found the solution to this problem. Go to Settings, General, Reset and choose Reset network settings. And bingo!

Excel documents stuck on loading circle

I'm hoping this is the right forum, there wasn't a general Office Web Apps forum that I could see.
I have a user who is unable to open Excel documents from SharePoint 2010, the web app toolbars appear as they should but the content stops on the "loading" text with the circle.
The documents open fine if they select "Open in Excel" from the drop down when viewing the document library.
The web app works fine for the other 30 odd staff in the same department, but not for this one user (all their PC's are build identical).
I've tried an Office repair, renaming the OWSPUPP.DLL found in Office15 to that the OWSPUP.DLL is used from Office 14 (we have Office 2010 and Lync 2013), resetting IE, deleting all temporary files.
The last option is to rebuild the PC.

According to your post, my understanding is that the excel files stucked on loading circle.
Did you active the feature Excel Services Application View Farm Feature and
Excel Services Application Web Part Farm Feature in the farm ?
We can active them, then check whether it works.
Did you use the IE 32bit? Make sure the IE version is 32bit.
You also can check with other browers, such as FireFox, Chrome, if so, we can use the following methods or reset the IE.
Use the Compatibility View Settings in IE. Open the IE->Tools->
Compatibility View Settings->add the site into Compatibility View, then check whether it works.
Add the site into Trusted sites. Opne the IE->Internet Options->Security->Sites->add the site into the Websites, then check whether it works.
What’s more, you can check the event log and ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.
To check event log, click the Start button and type “Event Viewer” in the Search box.
For SharePoint 2010, by default, ULS log is at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS

Windows (phone) emulator 8.1/10 stuck at loading the OS

I've been trying to get the emulator to work for days. Previously I tried the Windows Phone 8.1 Emulator as well as the Windows 8.1 Simulator and both were stuck at loading the OS.
Earlier today I installed the new Windows 10 Tools and thought I should give it another try with the new Windows 10 Emulator... And no, still the same result.
What's strange is that, the Hyper-V Manager seems to be doing OK. I can see the app displays correctly on the little Preview window (see the box on the left side of the picture below).
Also, breakpoints are hit, the project seems to be running OK.
As many answers have already suggested, I tried letting
it running for an hour, but still nothing came up.
Things that I've also tried include uninstalling all the Virtual Machines as well as repairing the WP 8.1 Emulator, nothing has worked so far.
Please help, this has driven me completely insane. :(

We have heard about a report of this problem, and with the OS build you have, you can use the following workaround to get around this problem.
1.) Open Hyper-V
2.) Shutdown any existing configured Phone emulators.
3.) Click on "Virtual Switch Manager"
4.) Click on the "Windows Phone Emulator Internal Switch"
5.) Remember what the settings are displayed there (because you will delete it and recreate it)
6.) Delete the existing "Windows Phone Emulator Internal Switch" by clicking "Remove"
7.) Click "Apply" and "OK"
8.) Re-create the "Windows Phone Emulator Internal Switch" by clicking the "New virtual network switch" and use the same settings you remembered in Step 5.
9.) Then try to F5 from Visual Studio - which should configure a new emulator on the right virtual switch.
Let me know the results.

FCPX Export Compressor Settings QT Error -2045 and more...

I have a 56 minute FCPX project that won't export. I've tried standard h264 and using Compressor settings for HD 720 for YouTube / Video.
Most recent error is QuickTime Error -2045 - can't find this error documented anywhere.
My console log last recorded for FCP this error:

Now prior to this last (4th attempt) at exporting I was getting this error:

I found a decoder online but perhaps it's 32bit... however, this is just the last time; prior I was getting the no decoder error
1) What is -2045 error
2) What is the proper decoder to use for XVID
3) I do get a warning that there is missing media, effects, titles or generators - and I can see the inspector tell me that these are related to motionVFX Project 543 (see error above) but I can't find any instance of these effects not implemented. So, how can you quickly find any missing media (redzone) or other in a FCPX project without scrolling or playing through it. If something is missing I would expect that I should be able to quickly have my playhead jump to the missing media segment within my project. But I can't figure out how.
4) I need to deliver this project and can't get a suitable export and I'm on deadline, so any thoughts are appreciated. My ideal output is a file to load to Vimeo; secondly a good quality Quicktime movie would be nice. The file is about 50GB (my guess) I need less than 5GB and 720p HD

Captivate 6.1: Presentation stucks on loading in Citrix Einvorment @ IE8.

We encounter problems with loading presentation in Citrix Einvorment @ IE8.
It stucks during loading. There are really fast connection 100mbit/s (local) between citrix IE8 and the server.
When running in normal IE9 on local machine the same presentation loads slower (1mbit/s connection) but it loads without any problems and runs great.
Can anyone help us to solve this problem?

OK. I saw you mention Flash Player 11 was the version but you did not state which browser had it (the browser on the Citrix box or the browser on the end user's PC). Your settings show you are publishing to FP 11, but if the Citrix browser happens to only have Flash Player 9 or 10 installed, then that would explain why the same Captivate content stalls in the Citrix environment but plays fine on the end user's PC browser.
My feeling is still that your IE8 browser in the Citrix environment is either missing something (e.g. the right version of Flash Player) or else there's something else going on in Citrix which is interferring with playback.

Captivate demos stuck in Loading state when shared in an Adobe Connect meeting room

We have published several Adobe Captivate demos directly to Adobe Connect content library (using both Captivate 5.5 and 7). The demos work fine when accessed directly using the URL assigned in the Content Library. However, when the demo is shared in a meeting room share pod, it gets stuck in Loading state and nothing is displayed. Trying to understand if this is a bug or if there are certain publishing settings in Captivate that are causing this problem.

Have you looked at the logs on the Connect server (Error or Access) to see if there is something there to help identify the problem?
If you put ?mode=xml after you meeting room, do you get any clues about the problem in the text that shows below the connection error message?
Have you tried the test my computer page to see if there is a problem that can be identified there?

Find my iPhone stuck on loading on iPhone 6

All my apps loaded from my backup, but Find My iPhone keeps getting stuck about 2/3 of the way through loading. I've deleted it and re-tried it multiple times, rebooted the phone, my mac, iTunes, tried it plugged in directly to the mac, tried over wifi. Nothing will work! Just keeps getting stuck on loading. I've also disabled Find My iPhone in my Settings.

Same problem, none of the suggested fixes worked so far. 'Find my iphone' and 'Find my friends' apps are both stuck loading, don't open and can't be deleted. Tried resetting the phone, killing all background apps, turning find my iphone option on and off, deleting.

Sg200-50 admin GUI stuck at loading 70%

Hello,
Has anyone had this issue? I access the GUI through web browser and enter my credentials successfully, but then it just gets stuck on loading at 70% and gets nowhere.
I tried two different computers, and IE and Chrome browsers. Running windows 7 64-bit machines, IE 10, Chrome 37.0.2062.120 m
Any suggestions? Telnet disabled by default it seems.

What firmware are you running?
You could try to reset the switch, as long as you have backed up your configuration
somewhere. (Or if you don't care about losing the current settings on the switch)
If you are entering the credentials of a user account you created, try the default "admin"
user account. The login credentials are cisco as the username and cisco for the password.
