EP6 sp9 installation get stuck on "deploy via sdm/j2ee"

Hi,
I'm trying to install the ep6 SP9 after I have installed the WAS SP9 and upgrade it to SP13
Now, The installation get stuck at "deploy via sdm/j2ee" stage.
This result is the same after several attempts including shutdown and restrat the processes
There are not any errors on the installaion logs and everything looks fine
Does anybody has any idea what it wrong ?

This is the only error message I'm getting.
The installation is being freeze for many hours and there is not any CPU load.
So I think that this message error causing the installation to freeze.
Does anyone familier with that error ?

I am trying to run the examples in the tutorial addendum (1.4 beta). I am using JSDK 1.4.1 and J2EE 1.4 on Windows XP.
I have run ant build and ant package-bookstore in the bookstore directory.

Hi,
I'm trying to configure reports and webanalysis and the configuration gets stuck when deploying to the application server.
Version 11.1.3
From the config.log file:

According to your description, my understanding is when you deploy the SharePoint solution, the deploy status stuck on the deploying status.
To resolve this issue, I suggest you can do as the followings:
1. On any server, start, run, services.msc, enter, this will open the services console.
2. Now type s, this will give you all the services that start with S, look for SharePoint timer service and make sure it’s in started mode.
3. This service should be started on all the front ends as well as application server.

Deploy wsp through Power Shell- start stop SP admin service and run execadmsvcjobs command using power shell

Can anyone pls point me any link/ src code for deplyoing wsp using power shell. I know I can deploy it through Add-spsolution and install-spsolution, the issue is that, it will give "status - stuck in deploying scheduled..."
and i need to restart the sharepoint services - services.msc --> SP administration and timer services - and then i need to run the exceadmsvcjobs command to deploy / update the wsp successfully in solution store.
i mean, whats the power shell equivalent of these tasks. or anyone has already scripted these.

For future references:
this happens to me too and I found that the cause is that the AM server you are going to configure, is already registered into the directory server.
Try running this command (with the obvious parameters substituted)
ldapsearch -B -T -D 'cn=directory manager' -w YOUR_CREDENTIALS -b ou=1.0,ou=iPlanetAMPlatformService,ou=services,YOUR_BASEDN -s base objectclass=* | grep YOUR_SERVERNAMEIf you found that the server you are configuring is listed here try going to AMserver console (if you have another AMserver configured) and browse to Configuration->System Properties->Platforms. If the server is here, remove it, if not, just hit Save (very important).
If this is your first AM and is a first installation you can just get rid of the Directory Server suffix and recreate it with the Top Entry alone.

Custom templates deploying for office 2010

Hello
I am stuck on deploying custom office templates following the guide on http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc178976(v=office.14).aspx
The problem is, templates for Word, Excel, PowerPoint are no problem.
but what about Theme Templates, Chart templates??
I can put theme templates under "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Document Themes 14", but is it the best way?
We want to have a common plats for templates, not per user. Like C:\Office\Templates

EPMA 11 - Deployment Pending

Hi,
I have an application in EPMA with the status Deployment pending, which I cannot release. When I first tried to deploy this app, I got the "Waiting Status Update.." message and the processing % was at 9%. I then updated the timeout in the awbconfig file, restarted both the EPMA and Planning services and after 10 minutes the app status went back to Undeployed. I then tried to deploy it again and now the status is stuck on Deployment pending. I have rebooted all servers, restarted the services but this status doesn't change. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can go from here?

This can be resolved by changing the status tag in the EPMA database. In my case this was SQL. I stopped all EPMA services then...
First find the application ID in the DS_Application table. Then in the OR_Object table, find that ID, then change the status to 1 and in the X_OBJECT_DATA column make the following changes:
Change the value of status to 2
Remove the <PendingDeployment>….</PendingDeployment> tag

Probs in Deploying EJB in weblogic 8.1

have Made a simple ejb example printing helloworld ,but i m stuck in deployment.what i have done is used meta-inf in the application to store ejb-jar,why m i getting compllation errors inspite of the fact tht the build is successful,i m working in weblogic 8.1.I have already placed meta-inf in src that has pooja folder containing all 3 java files ,and then used the command jar cvf myHello ejb.jar src META-INF and it is giving manifest info i have compared it from a book it is correct,can u plz tell how can i run my ejb once i placed them home ,remote,implemnt,client in pooja folder in src .
i m getting compile time errs in CreateException,EJBHome,EJBObject,SessionBean :cannot resolve symbol
and javax.ejb.* that it does not exist.

Sounds like your java compiler does not know about J2EE classes.
Try adding weblogic.jar is in your CLASSPATH
or
javac -classpath weblogic.jar *.java

Deploy capex through application library

Hi,
Can anyone experience the problem when deploying capex through application library 9.3.1?
The job progress kepts at 9% with detail:
"initialing product action...
product response:200..
waiting for status udpates...".
BTW, I
1) have already performed "validate" check for capex app. There is no error.
2) no error is captured in the shared service
3) SharedServices_Metadata.log shows

Oracle XE and 10g reports

Can this be done?
have installed XE, and have been using HTML DB. I am wanting more control with my reports, and I am much better with 10g reports developer than the built in html db reports.
I found this site, but I am stuck on "deploying the report" (#9/#10)

then I ran "Start OC4J Instance"
But when I try to call the report in either firefox or IE like it tells me to, I can't get it to work. Page Cannot Be Found. (I replaced USER and PW too)

I am evaluating Weblogic 12c and is stuck in deployment of an application.
My application is locally developed and is working fine in Oracle Glassfish. I have install glassfish and deploy application multiple time.
In weblogic I can deploy the application successfully and the state= Prepared while Health=OK.
When I access applicaiton from web browser, it says:

Muse CC Enterprise exception not installing completely in OSX.

Hi, I've tested both Exception Deployer and the standalone command line option for Adobe Muse CC (Enterprise) and I'm getting odd results. Tested two 10.8.5 machines and a freshly installed and updated 10.7.5 so far with the same results (post-build install). Basically, the app acts like it's installed. I can uninstall it from the Utilities folder, and if I add the Creative Cloud Connection app, it shows as "up to date". However, there is no folder or app in the /Applications folder.
I don't know the OSX equivalent of "run as administrator" so my script looks like this (I've taken the spaces out of the folder path so the script works better, so "Adobe Creative Cloud Mac" is "AdobeCreativeCloudMac"):

I monkeyed with Exception Deployer as its supposed to do the same thing but automated and to all the exceptions (using just --workflow and --mode options and defaulting the rest changes nothing):

According to the Exception Deployer Tool documentation, "0" is the return for successful installation. Adobe Help does install successfully, but Muse has the error described above. The requirement for "account being installed must be signed in" is a bit cryptic because I don't know if it means the OSX user, or the Adobe ID, but I've done it as both to no avail.
I saw the forum solutions that suggested subscribers just download the latest version and uninstall/re-install that, but what can us Enterprise admins with AAMEE created serializations do? I can't serialize a "trial" version with the same enterprise license installed for everything else, can I?

Thank you for the info. As a matter of technical perspective, I was stuck on "Deploy Muse" and there was no app to launch let alone provision. However, I convinced our admin with the package creator to try again and let's make sure moving all the files to a windows share didn't cause any corruption issues. I'm not sure where or when the corruption occurred and on who's side, but regardless we re-packaged all the enterprise CC apps today and re-ran the exception deployer on a fresh Lion copy. So far so good, so it seems to be working either way. Anyone else having this issue might try recreating their packages as it seems to be fixed (for 10.7 and 10.8), or possibly re-creating them on a different machine. The admin tried to launch the new exceptiondeployer on a maveriks upgrade and it crashed, but I'm not so sure his system was error free so I can't confirm if it was a fluke or not.
In any case the remaining info was useful anyway to get it going now that it's actually launchable. Thanks.
