Stuck Line of Pixels

My iPod Touch that I purchased 4 months ago has a 'line' of stuck pixels. It goes from the top of the screen about 2.5 centimeters down. I would estimate it's 1 pixel wide and 20-30 high. Does my warranty cover this?
I tried going to youtube on one of those "Stuck Pixel Fixer" videos but it didn't work. I'm guessing it's damaged because it's a line.
This iPod Touch has always had a screen shield and has never been dropped or anything.

Never mind. I was told this was because of my Zagg Invisible Shield. A guy told me this happened to his too and it went away after a day or so. Apparently it's a micro scratch which reflects light.

IN A BATCH PROCESS TO SELECT A DIFFERENT LINE OF PIXELS?

Hi there,
I am trying to make my own slit scan image by selecting a single line of pixels from many frames.
From the first frame I would like to select the first line of pixels. From the second frame I would like to select the second line of pixels and so on. Then for this process to repeat itself.
It has been suggested that I can do this using the batch process in Photoshop however I cannot figure out how to do it!
If there is a simplier way then please get in touch.

Strange lines in pixel-preview mode

Hi! I have a problem.
When I'm drawing something with two windows (one is usual other in pixel preview) I have some strange white lines in pixel preview window. How can I solve it?

There are no white lines in output icon. These lines are not objects, they are just bugs of Illustrator. When I zoom out and immediately zoom in window with pixel preview - white lines dissapear. But when I change something in usual window (moving any object or rotate) these lines appear again (only in pixel-preview window)!

A line of pixelation went out

It's a brand new iMac and a line of pixelation went out. It looks like it is bleeding from inside of the screen.

This sounds like a possible hardware failure, perhaps the graphics card or the display. If your machine is less than 90 days old or if you have already purchased AppleCare (highly recommended) give AppleCare a call. You can find the number in the owners manual. If you don't have AppleCare or the machine is older than 90 days old then make an appointment at your local Apple Store or AASP and take it in for service.

Am i facing a stuck or dead pixel?

so whenever i turn on my macbook pro camera, sometimes a blue or green dot appears on the Screen of the laptop. is this a stuck or dead pixel and how to fix it? its really annoying as its a brand new macbook pro. i think you guys can feel me

If it only appears when you turn on the camera then it's not a stuck pixel. If it only sometimes appears when you turn on the camera then it's not a stuck pixel. If it's sometimes blue and sometimes green then it's not a stuck pixel. A stuck pixel would always be there, always the same colour, whatever you were doing on your computer.
Whereabouts is this dot appearing. The camera has a green indicator light above the screen which illuminates when the camera is on. My apologies if I'm stating the obvious, but I'm just considering the possibility that you're maybe confusing this with a stuck pixel!

Mysterious line of pixels

Problem- I'm getting these weird lines appearing on both the Macbook Pro LCD and my external LCD. It happens completely random and no crashing of apps occurs. It shows up on the desktop, Safari, FCP, and almost all other apps. It's not that big of a deal and sometimes you can move a Finder window over it to make it disappear. But it is bothering me when doing some editing and web design. I have captured a screenshot of it occurring in Safari.

I have this as well, and it has been an issue for about 3 or 4 months now. I thought it could be an overheating issue, but have seen it happen when I have SMC fans running max speed and my MBP being at a low temp.
I wish someone knew what was causing this.
Also, i had spilt water on my AC adapter about 7 months ago, and it ran fine until just recently it started to smoke so I went ahead and bought a new ac adapter...one of my thoughts was that my bad Ac adapter was sending too high of a voltage causing graphical errors within my MBP...not sure if that is the case cause I have not seen any of these lines of pixels since I bought a new adapter. Along with these pixel lines everyone is seeing, my computer sometimes freezes when using graphics heavy programs (Photoshop/iphoto/watching a video on iTunes @ same time ect) And am not sure if it is linked to the graphical pixel lines.

Line of Pixels Intermittently Failing

Dear Forum,
i have a line of Pixels on my iPad screen that fails intermittently. Its not all the time, just every now and again.Odd as it sounds.
Is this the type of thing a genius bar can run a test on? i cant seem to 'force it' to happen so didnt want to make the effort and go to a Genius if it doesnt happen

Make an appointment at your local apple store and have them check it out.
If you can, prior to that appointment, since you can't easily replicate it, see if you can video tape it messing up. Just so that you have proof
Or when it's doing it, take a screen cap (hold down the sleep and home keys together and release them, like you would the shutter of a camera. ou'll see a white flash and hear a camera sound, the cap will be in your photos app)

Solid line of pixels in my warped gradient. Can anyone explain/help?

So this is very odd. Here's the breakdown and steps I've taken so far.
I create a new layer and fill it with black. Then I make a new layer and make a marquee selection. Within the marquee selection, I fill the new layer with a color to transparent gradient fill. I then take the new gradient layer and warp it using the "FLAG" preset. I adjust the bend to 20% and commit the warp/transformation. I get the curve I want, but right in the middle of the curve, running straight up the layer, is a solid line of pixels. It's almost as if, that one little line missed out on both the gradient itself as well as the warp effect.
Very odd indeed. Can anyone please explain what might be happening with that?

Gerbert2001, I had tested in CS6 as the OP had not mentioned their version and could not reproduce the issue.
But in Photoshop CC I also get offending results.

Using actionListeners to move a line 20 pixels in every direction

I'm trying to create an actionListener for a button. I need to be able to click on the button and move a line 20 pixels in every direction. But i have no idea how to do this. I'm supposed to have an object in my ColoredLine class that allows for me to use with the ActionListener class but I don't even know what that means. Here is my ButtonForLine class that implements listener and my ColoredLine class that gives the original line.

One small stuck or broken pixel on 3 month old refurbished imac

I have snow leopard 10.6.3 and i have a 2008 refurbishd 3 month old imac with a 3.06 ghz intel core 2 duo processor and an nvidia geforce 8800 gs 512 mb graphics card. My problem is that i have a small barley noticable stuck or broken pixel on my screen. its just bothering me and i want to get rid of it but i don't know how to. any suggestions would be apperciated. you can only really notice it when the screens background is on white.

The lines are pixelated

I have been away from Adobe CSS for a while now, so I need a little help. I'm designing a logo, but having some problems creating nice faded lines. Also i cant move the little blue circle in the horses eye (guideline?). I hope that someone can tell me how to make the line less pixelated. Thank you very much.

I suppose you do it in Illustrator. Did you have placed the file in InDesign because you are asking here?
Did you have turned on the Display Performance on High Quality?
If you have done the file in Illustrator and have used effects which will make a rasterized output how are your Document Raster Effects Settings (Effects) in Illustrator, and if so, how was the graphic scaled in InDesign?

All of a sudden tons of stuck and dead pixels on Retina display!

My MacBook Pro Retina is just about a year old. When the computer was only a few months old I had the display replace due to stuck pixels.
Now it's a year old (just 2 weeks out of warranty!) and all of a sudden there are a TON of stuck and dead pixels.
I mean A LOT: about 30 - 40 stuck pixels (all of them seem to be blue or white, I can't really tell), and maybe about 20 - 30 dead pixels. They are harder for me to see. The stuck pixels make the screen almost unusable though.
About a week ago I noticed one giant stuck pixel (probably a cluster of 4) but now, all of a sudden they are speckled all over the screen (but mostly in the same area where I found the first one.
Is my display just dying on me?
Is Apple going to make me pay for a new retina display (it's 15"). How much will that cost??
The display shouldn't die like this so soon, especially since it is already a relatively new screen (replaced once already).

I would go to Apple and ask nicely since it is only 2 weeks out of warranty and was already replaced once.
