just downloaded photoshop elements 11 then I uploaded some photos now I,m trying to send them via email and my computer got stuck on the email registration page and is now just spinning.
I’ve found it usually works best with web mail via Adobe after obtaining verification. I know some email services block bulk email completely and I’ve only tested it with Gmail which works fine. Should also work with other web mail e.g. Yahoo and Hotmail. Before you start it will help to check your internet security settings. If they are set to High, reduce the settings to Medium temporarily. Then follow these instructions.
1. Log in to your mail provider on the web and add the following email to your address/contacts book.

2. Open Organizer and on the menu click:
Edit >> Preferences >> Sharing
3. Choose Adobe Email Service from the client dropdown menu.
4. Add your name and email address to the fields provided and click OK
5. Test the system (first use only) by selecting a photo in organizer and choosing Share >> Photo Mail then click Next (Mac users should use attachments)
6. Choose a contact then click Next
7. Click Next Step, then click Next - the sender verification dialog will open.
8. Check you have spelt your email address correctly and hit the Resend E-Mail button.
9. Go to your inbox (also check spam) and when the Adobe mailer message is received copy (Ctrl+C) the long verification code.
10. Return to the verification dialog and paste it (Ctrl+V) into the Sender verification field and click OK. Wait for validation confirmation then click OK to continue

Stuck on the 'Registration' page on iTunes when I try to update my iPod
I started a topic before but it got archived so I'm trying again, hope thats ok.
Ever since I've had my iPod, every time i plug it into my laptop to either update, delete songs etc I've been able to skip past the registration section but a good few months ago it decided to not let me skip the page so after many frustrating attempts I decided to just register it, I did so on iTunes and received emails from Apple to say its registered. So i thought it would be fine but it still does the same thing,
I get the options of: Never Register, Register Later and Continue but no matter what i select it either doesn't let me move past the page or just sends me back filling out the same registration form which still doesn’t disappear when I’ve entered all my details.
I thought if i left it for a while it might change but I’ve tried again this evening and its still the same!

I'm hoping someone somewhere may know what to do? I know previously someone suggested adjusting the screen resolution but its nothing related to that.

Message was edited by: Nikki2008I never registered it until it got completley stuck on this page earlier this year, before i just clicked register later i think and then when it wouldnt let me do anything but that registration page i decided to go through all the various things to register it. So it is acutally registered now (i did that back in May) but nothing has changed since.
If i click continue it shows me all the details i entered in May but still does not let me progress to see/edit my music... -
I'm in Japan, but after setting Os to English I didn't change the region to Japan. Hence registration page for new Macbook won't allow me to complete registration because it's the US template. Can't go back after importing information from other computer and can't go forward because Info fields are filled in incorrectly. I'm stuck. Can't believe I did this! Everybodies asleep here, so I'm calling the US for help!
Sounds like you'll have to start the install process from the beginning! still, at least you don't have files on there yet, so you wont lose anything but time.

Urgent, stuck on registration page
I bought a 24-inch iMac a week ago. Leopard was installed and everything ran smoothly. However, a week later when I restarted the iMac, I was brought to the registration page where I had to manually enter my personal information. And when everything is completed and done I was once again brought back to the registration page starting at where I make choices of the languages for this iMac. And I don't know what the problem is so I popped the installation CD inside the drive and attempt to restart the installation process. I attempted to hold down the "c" key while the computer restarted and was once again brought back to the registration page. And I can't seem to get my CD out either. Anyone have similar problems or know what are some possible solutions to this issue? Thanks a lot.
I encountered this problem a few minutes ago. I fixed it by following a couple of Apple published procedures reproduced below (Good luck):
Mac OS X 10.5: Setup Assistant appears after every restart
If the Setup Assistant appears unexpectedly each time Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard starts up, and continues to appear even after completing all pages in the assistant, use these steps
1. Start up with a Safe Boot.
2. When the login window appears, do not attempt to log in. Instead, click the Restart button located at the bottom of the login window and let the computer restart normally. (If the Restart button is not displayed, click the Back button, then click the Restart button.)

Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode
Learn how to start up Mac OS X 10.2 or later in Safe Mode.
To start up into Safe Mode (to "Safe Boot"), do this:
1. Be sure the computer is shut down.
2. Press the power button.
3. Immediately after you hear the startup tone, press and hold the Shift key. Tip: The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone but not before.
4. Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple and progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
During the startup in Mac OS X 10.2 through 10.3.9, you will see "Safe Boot" on the Mac OS X startup screen.
During the startup in Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you will see "Safe Boot" on the login window, which appears even if you normally log in automatically.
To leave Safe Mode in any version of Mac OS X, restart the computer normally, without holding any keys during startup. -
Trying to add captcha to forum registration page...
I just put up a site and my forum is getting terrible spam so I need to add a captcha to the registration page.

It does mean that with no javascript they will never work, but in this day an age that should not be an issue.
It looks like they were not hitting the registration url, but may have had a cached version of the page and using that to submit Penny.
Its a good sollution - ideally for properness data- is a html5 attribute so the doctype really needs to be that. In XHML using rel="" on the form with the action in there is a good alternative as well.
As a note Lynda's code was :

Is more specifc and faster, if you had other data elements it would just fetch all or fall over. -

My dynamic site has a lot of different languages funneled into one website, using various cookies, url params, php includes, etc. all to obtain similar info in different languages. Thank you David Powers.
It is working really well and now I’ve come to the Registration section. Okay, so registration isn’t all that hard; I could do most of it with the standard Dreamweaver set of tools. Alas, I really like much of what ADDT has to offer with welcome email messages and activation and such.
Here’s the setup: Obviously, with many different language people, I have many different databases for them. I did that becuase we’re expecting a big audience and I really don’t want to have all those different language names in the same table. Furthermore, these tables, whereby the students will login, will also contain a lot of information about their work so again, don’t want to have one massive table. I’ve divvied them up into tables by language and I’m using those tables to keep track of them and their work.
I want to use ADDT’s User Registration Wizard and I have looked at all the neat stuff in the Control Panel/Login Settings.
Here’s my situation: I notice that when I’m done with the configuring of one of the registration pages, I’m asked if I want to upload the tNG_config.inc.php page and that it has changed since the last upload. I saved a copy of the _config.inc.php and did a new registration form with the same info and when done, I compared the two _config.inc.php files. As one would guess, there is a small difference in the Connection string to the databases $tNG_login_config["connexction"] = "connString_Ital_db".
My problem is that I have 13 of these registration pages to do but ADDT only has the one tNG_config.inc.php. That’ll work great for the one with which it is associated, but the others will obviously break. I’ve looked through the code in the Registration pages, to find the ADDT link to the tNG_config.inc.php file hoping to rename it Italian, Spanish, etc, but the name of the file does not appear in the Registration page. I realize that ADDT Control panel is designed for use on one site, and can then be used on others, with the changes etc. But my site seems a little unique since so many sites are actually in one.
Has anyone whipped this problem before? I just don’t understand why there is no link in the head code of the Registration page to let me change it and to create more config files with different names. Thanks for you help!

I just tried to check all of ADDT´s "includes" files for any internal references (read: "require" or "require_once" statements) to the file "tNG_config.inc.php". So far I can only see this file referenced in the file "tNG.inc.php" (within the "$KT_tNG_uploadFileList1" array).
So what could this mean ? Maybe you´ll have to make copies of the the original "tNG.inc.php" as well and save them as, say, "tNG.inc_ital.php" file plus make sure that these copies internally point to a different "tNG_config_ital.inc.php" file -- because it´s always the first mentioned file which gets referenced from e.g. an ADDT login page (see the "Load the tNG classes" - part)
I want to use ADDT’s User Registration Wizard and I have looked at all the neat stuff in the Control Panel/Login Settings
The Control Panel will always update the main "tNG_config.inc.php" file, so any further modifications will have to become manually applied to the custom files you´re creating.

Passing new values as extension to FM in registration page in b2c ISA..

I have b2c application with CRM50. I have added new fields in the user(consumer) registration page.I need to pass these values to the backend. The standard function module CRM_ISA_REGISTER_CONSUMER which has an parameter EXTENSION_IN to pass the extension data is called from UserCrm.class.
The standard action SaveRegisterAction.class in config.xml after i click save button is called.
I am not able to find the exact method to overwrite in which where i can add the addExtensiondata() method.
Is anyone added new fields in the register.jsp page? Kindly help me out in this if any one has some idea.

Could you find any code to call business object "User" in action "SaveRegisterAction"?if you find, i think you can create new action extends from "SaveRegisterAction" ,and in the new action call method "addExtensiondata()" of object "User",after this you can get data in the function module you are mention.

Hi, I had a couple of questions with making a registration
page. First, I'm having trouble figuring out how to make it so that
when someone submits there email address, it has to be a valid one
to continue, or even just an email address to begin with. Also, how
to prevent a user from using numbers when a user types in their
name as well as not let them type less than 3 characters. My last
question if anyone can answer it is how do you send an email to the
user after they submit the form, and make it so they have to click
on a link before they can access the website, so that what they put
in the form does not go into my database until they have clicked

Can adjust page elements in MX, but not in CS3
I don't know what to call this problem, so couldn't do a
search on this forum. I have two computers, one of which runs
Dreamweaver MX, the other of which runs CS3. I can access different
elements of a particular set of web pages in MX, for example
resizing a photograph. But in CS3 all the page elements within the
"contents" div tag highlight as one single element, so that, for
example, if I try to delete a single word of text, the entire
contents--pictures, text, etc.--gets deleted instead. I made these
pages in MX. I'm guessing that there is some default setting in CS3
that is preventing me from accessing the individual content

Never resize a photo or any image from within DW. Load the
image in your
image editor and resize it there. If you do it in DW you
aren't actually
changing the size, merely squeezing or stretching it thereby
diminishing its
quality. And if you reduce the size (in DW) you have a
visually smaller
image but the pixel size (weight) doesn't reduce.

Developing a login and registration page
Can someone tell me what would be a good way to create a
login and registration page in DW 8. We will be using Microsoft SQL
2005 to store the user information. Could I use PHP with MS SQL
2005? Or would it be best if I use ASP.net with VB or C# through
the DW 8 functions. The websites I have are all created in DW
8.If you end database will be SQL2005 why are mucking around
with MySQL. You
can download a copy of SQL Express for development purposes.

How does one email a pages document? In pages 5 when I try to attach a pages document to a gmail email it gives me 2 folders and 4 other files to choose from.
Sounds like you are using Gmail.
Pages 5 uses a zipped package of files as its format. 3rd party servers don't understand the format and show it as the component parts.
Use Mail toenail the file or zip the .pages document before sending.

I cannot send a Pages document, Word via email if the doc contains a picture. If I email a Pages doc without a pic in Word format or pdf with a pic it with go through to sender? Not sure why Pages won't send Word doc with a picture in it. I check the security on the email recipient and the email doesn't get blocked or throw in the junk box?

drainguy41If you have upgraded to Mountain Lion, Save As… has returned to the File menu when you hold down the Option/alt key. But you don't really "save" as other file types, you translate & export as Word or RTF or text or PDF & that is easily done by going to File > Export or Share > Export.
Also, please do us all a favor & don't use all capitals in your posts, either the body of the post or the title. All caps is the internet equivalent of shouting & is very hard to read.
