My video can play in itune 7.7 but cannot sync to 3G iphone. Pls help to solve out urgently as I can't use it over 3 days. when itune cannot update the iphone with message OxE8000001. May I know if failure are come from the itune ? Do I need to re-install itune 7.7 again ?

itunes supports many more video formats than the iPhone (or iPod) supports. You need to convert the video format to an iPod supported format.

  • Alt Key Stuck,Pls Help :(

    Hi everyone,im experiencing this for almost 2 months,and it doesnt allows me to play game,my keyboard just keeps pressing alt by itself,i need to use a program to disable alt so i can type,but i still cant play and i really use the alt key a lot in games.
    I've already searched a lot but I dont find a solution :(
    If someone knows how to fix this,pls help me :(

    Hi,
    In addition, this issue can also be caused by sticky key feature.
    Sticky Keys is an operating system feature designed to minimize the repeated pressing of keys. People typically trigger this behavior by accident when they quickly press a key many times consecutively.
    If you find the Sticky Keys feature particularly annoying, it can be turned off for good.
    1. Click Start → Control Panel → Ease of Access → Change how your keyboard works.
    2. Click “Set up Sticky Keys” (or press ALT+C). The “Sticky Keys setup” section of the Ease of Access Center.
    3. If there is a check in the box labeled “Turn On Sticky Keys”, un-check it.
    4. Un-check “Turn on Sticky Keys when SHIFT is pressed five times”. Screenshot of check boxes in the Sticky Keys configuration screen.
    5. Click the OK button to save your changes.
    Then, I suggest you restart Interface Device Access Service to check the results.

  • Pls Help...VERY URGENT

    Hi all,
    I am unable to get a certain output from the code I have written: Below is the code.
    public class project extends JApplet
         private JLabel promptLabel;
         private JTextField inputField,displayField;
         private JTextArea outputArea;
         public void init()
              Container container = getContentPane();
              String s1 = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter a few alphabets");
              String.valueOf(s1);
              outputArea = new JTextArea();
              container.add(outputArea);
              outputArea.setText("The alphabets that you have entered are: "+s1);
    I am suppose to get the output below:
    The user will be prompted to enter a few alphabets.After the user clicks on 'OK' a java applet is suppose to popout with the alphabets the user has typed like in below. the user has to enter a message using the alphabets he gave(e.g abcd)
    please enter a message using the alphabets entered:___________
    a
    b
    c
    d
    I am unable to get the output.. I dunno how to go about getting the output above.. Another query, below is a Histogram class.
    class Histogram
         int frequency[];
         String alphabet;
         Histogram(String alphabet)
              this.alphabet=alphabet;
              frequency=new int[alphabet.length()];
         void scan(String message)
              for(int i=0;i<message.length;i++)
                   frequncy[alphabet.IndexOf(message.charAt(i))]++;
         void setfrequency(int frequency[])
              for(int i=0;i<alphabet.length;i++)
              this.frequency=frequency[i];
         double entropy()
              int total=0;
              double probablity;
              log2=Math.log(2.0);
              for(int i=0;i<alphabet.length;i++)
                   total+=freguency[i];
    If I want to get the frequency of each alphabet displayed in the applet, how do i go about implementing the setfrequency method in the java applet.. I hope some one can help me.. Pls it is very urgent.. Thanx

    Hi Thanx, your code helped. I have got another question. How do i implement a method from another method class into the applet. say, i want to implemen set frequency from the below code into my applet you wrote above?
    class Histogram
         int frequency[];
         String alphabet;
         Histogram(String alphabet)
              this.alphabet=alphabet;
              frequency=new int[alphabet.length()];
         void scan(String message)
              for(int i=0;i<message.length;i++)
                   frequncy[alphabet.IndexOf(message.charAt(i))]++;
         void setfrequency(int frequency[])
              for(int i=0;i<alphabet.length;i++)
              this.frequency=frequency[i];
         double entropy()
              int total=0;
              double probablity;
              log2=Math.log(2.0);
              for(int i=0;i<alphabet.length;i++)
                   total+=freguency[i];

    It's not good to shut off the power forcibly, right? (I dun know what else I can do...)

    Hi Min! I'm having exactly the same issue - have been putting up with it now for months but have finally had enough! Every single time i eject either my iphone, ipad or ipod nano, itunes freezes up, the computer becomes unresponsive. Usually i can use the mouse to highlight icons but the system doesn't respond, the keyboard doesn't work and I have to do a hard reset.
    Arrrrrggggggh!!!!!!! lol
    Someone please help!!!

  • Another iMac Freezing Issue - pls help a newbie out

    I understand this problem is not uncommon - I've been trying to read the many threads I see on the issue. However, most posts outline problems, suggestions are made, but then reported to not work. Also, many threads are 2 years old.
    Could someone please suggest a step-by-step troubleshooting solution?
    Here are my pertinent facts:
    * Bought 20" iMac in July 07.
    * Processor: 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    * Memory: 3GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
    * Hubs installed the second memory stick a while ago (over a year and i don't remember this problem correlating with the new memory).
    * Video: ATI Radeon X1600
    * OS: Mac OS X 10.6.2
    * HD: 250GB capacity, 31GB available
    * I am using an external harddrive to back up my stuff (LaCie, connected by firewire)
    * Frequently used apps: Firefox, iPhoto, Photoshop Elements, Parallels (Quicken for PC), MS Office for Mac, etc.
    The problem starting occurring several months ago, while I was still running Tiger. Have since upgraded to Snow Leopard, with no improvement, in fact, things are getting worse.
    I get display distortion ("artifacts"?) - horizontal lines, blocks of the screen distort, usually clearing after dragging that part of the app off the screen of view and then back.
    Typically, if I start seeing display issues, a freeze up is imminent.
    Sometimes I get a sense it's coming soon - things run more slowly. Other times, it seems without provocation. I click on a window and nothing happens.
    Sometimes it's the wheel of death other times screen completely locks up with no spinning wheel. No option to force quit. Mouse is unresponsive. Keyboard appears to be, although I can toggle the Caps lock button on and off (light toggles). If I am streaming video, the screen will lock up, but the audio continues. If I wait (have gone to bed and come back in the am) it is still frozen.
    If I am streaming video (i.e Hulu on Firefox) or working in memory intensive applications (Windows, Parallels, Photoshop Elements, etc.) Problem is more frequent.
    I can go a day or so without problems, but if I am doing anything slightly involved, it happens much more frequently, as often as every 10 minutes or half hour or so.
    Steps I have taken:
    I always have to do a hard reboot. I have run disk utility multiple times, occasionally it finds and corrects stuff, but no fix seems to be permanent.
    I have seen suggestions of resetting PRAM as well as doing a clean re-install, but also seen that those fixes haven't endured.
    I don't have Apple Care and I'm not sure what steps I should be taking to fix this. Is there hope? I mostly see lots of problems reported, but not successful resolution.
    It's aggravating because I can't use the system for the stuff I bought it for (ex: digital scrapbooking) without worrying about losing my data. I switched to a Mac because I heard they ran so great and were "cool" to boot. While there have been many features of the Mac i enjoy, *if this kind of performance is typical after 2 yrs of use, I will not remain loyal to Apple.*
    If you have been successful in resolving the issue with Apple, what did you tell them and what did they do?
    I am competent system "user", but not as good when it gets into the weeds. Would appreciate any advice, feel free to spell it out as tho I were an idiot.
    I would appreciate a "try this, then try this" approach, especially if you have tried it and it has worked for you.
    Thanks for the help,
    Kendra

    OK, Mean, I mean Meanest, we have the same system (mine was purchased late 2006), and I can say we have identical symptoms. I agree with Paul_31 regarding disk space, but in addition, from all the posts on various Apple forums, it seems clear that the problem is due to the Radeon X1600 graphics card AND heat. These elegantly-designed Macs that we all love have a lot of stuff packed into a small package. Consequently they run hot, and over time the result is components bake and deteriorate. In our case, the weak link seems to be the Radeon card and since it’s not easily replaced, repair costs are nearly as much as the cost of a new iMac. A contributing factor is that over time dust will build up inside your Mac, and this serves as insulation, retarding heat transfer, and causing components to run hotter still.
    OK, so that’s the sad tale, but what can you do? Assuming your system is not too far gone due to the ravages of heat over time, there are things you can do to help prolong it’s life, and hopefully get it to behave itself better until the time it finally fails completely.
    In my case, the steps I’ve taken have resulted in a system that now “generally” runs for days at a time without locking up/crashing. A caveat: these are bandaids, not true fixes. I’m convinced the Radeon card will eventually fail and I’ll be faced with shopping for a new Mac – I’m only hoping the steps taken will give me a few more years of use before that happens. So, here’s my suggestions (basically they all have to do with getting your Mac to run cooler and being able to monitor temps so you know just how hot things are getting):
    1. First of all, if you don’t already have one, get one of the free programs available to monitor your Mac’s internal temperatures. One of the most popular ones is a widget, iStat Pro. As I type this iStat Pro is showing my temps are as follows:
    Hard Drive 92 deg. F
    CPU 85 F
    Ambient Air 69 F
    GPU Diode (graphics card) 92 F
    Hard Drive Bay 95 F
    Memory Controller 90 F
    Optical Drive 81 F
    If you have iStat Pro and see that your temps are about the same as these, I would say don’t bother to read further – you may have a different set of problems. If your temps are 10-20 F (or more) higher, keep reading.
    2. Try to clean out the internals of your Mac with compressed air. After 3+ years of use, I used an air compressor with an air gun attachment and blew through the vents at the back and bottom of my Mac with 60-80psi and actually saw a cloud of dust come out of my Mac. A more effective approach would entail cracking open the case of the Mac so you could really blow directly on the different boards/components. I haven’t done that, but I’m tempted to give it a try. Note: Some have suggested vacuuming and/or using a can of compressed air. I don’t think that approach is all that effective. You need a really strong flow of air to get that dust out of the inards.
    3. Download the free program SMC Fan Control (v 2.2.2). It will allow you to adjust the fan speeds higher for each of the 3 internal fans. The Mac has firmware that ramps up the speeds of these fans as internal temps rise, but the general consensus is the Mac firmware is “too little, too late”. With the standard Mac firmware, the fans will run at their default settings well beyond the point where the components are already way too hot. SMC Fan Control allows you to set the minimum fan speeds higher than the Mac default.
    Once you've done these steps, I'd suggest doing a SMC reset, then re-boot while keeping your fingers crossed.
    This is getting too long so I’ll stop for now. Good luck...

    Well the first thing you are doing wrong is posting in the wrong forum.
    This is the SQL Developer forum and, as you can see from the title, is 'Not for general SQL/PLSQL questions'.
    Please repost the question in the SQL and PL/SQL forum.
    PL/SQL
    When you post use \ tags on the line before and on the line after your code to preserve the formatting. See the FAQ for details.
    You also need to provide your 4 digit Oracle version (result of SELECT * FROM V$VERSION) every time you post.

    I receive below error message :
    **"ORA-00904: "TASKHISTORY"."TIME_STAMP": invalid identifier**
    {quote}
    What else would you expect? The inner query has no knowledge of the outer query. How could it? The outer query doesn't exist until it processes both of the inner queries.
    Each query of the union all needs to be a completely separate query. You should be able to run each query by itself and get a result set.
    If you can't the query is invalid. Since the only table involved that has TIME_STAMP is the task_history table you need to use that table.

  • Pls help! Audio out of sync -  PAL project

    Hi,
    I have run into the annoying audio out of synch problem
    I have a PAL project put together in FCP HD 4.5 and exported as "mpeg1 dvd - all" in compressor.
    By the end of the 15 minute project the audio is out of synch by more than 1 second (25 frames or more).
    I really need to get this project burned tonight so I guess I have 2 questions....
    Given what I already own, (Production Suite), what steps do I need to do to get this project finished tonight - ie compressor settings, fiddling etc etc
    And secondly, what do I need to do to properly fix this bug - for it IS a bug - so I don't run into it again.
    Many thanks for all you help in advance.
    Kenny
    kennymillar-at-mac-dot-remove-this-bit-dot-com

    I used compressor to export as MPEG2 (I chose MPEG 2 High Quality 60 Minute) and it created an aiff file, which is also out of synch at the end of the project by more than 1 second.
    So that didn't work
    Please someone give the guys at Apple a shake and ask them to get this fixed.
    in the meantime, can someone please help me achieve this simple task.

  • Bundling of IDOCs using BPM.PLS Help .Its very very URGENT

    Hi all,
    I have a IDOC to file scenario in which I have to bundle some number of INVOIC02 IDOCs.
    For this I have an IDOC whosw occurance is 1...1.
    I have an XSD for the same IDOC whose max occurance is 1.....9999999999.
    Si I have created one mapping for these two(i.e IDOC with max occurs 1 and IDOC with max occurs 9999999999.)
    I created one more mapping  for IDOC XSD and the target file structure.
    For this scenario how many abstract interfaces and interface mappings do I need to create?
    Can anybody explain the BPM flow in detail in this case?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Pls help ? about snapshot,urgent!

    first i create a database link remote_connect,and test it,it's active;
    then i create a snapshot log on remote master table:table_one, table_one has it's primary key(id), and last i create snapshot in local like this:
    create snapshot local_table_one
    storage(initial 100k next 100k pctincrease 0)
    tablespace snaps
    refresh fast
    as
    select * from table_one@remote_connect;
    but the errors occur:
    ORA-12014: 1m'TABLE_ONE'2;0|:,Vw9X<|WVT<JxLu<~(table 'table_one' not include primary key check condition);
    my question is:
    how can i do for this,i want use primary key not rowid:
    thanks first!

    This problem occurs when you try to create a snapshot with using WITH PRIMARY KEY option, and the Master table either doesn't have primary key or the primary key is disabled.
    If you don't want to use WITH ROWID option, you'll have to check your master table.
    Either create a primary key or enable it if already exists on the Master table.
    Hope this will help

  • Hi!!Pls help !!Query Urgent!!

    Hi  all
    We have a ABC classification with respect to the char.ABC class  based on the Total Vlaue(New Query),
    We have already created with Analysis Processs designer based on the Shopping cart value(orginal Query) & they have restricted in the (orginal Query) too.
    TOTAL VALUE CODING:
    IF <result_fields>-/bic/ztotal_it > 30000000.
            <result_fields>-abc_class = 'A'.
          ELSEIF <result_fields>-/bic/ztotal_it BETWEEN 10000001 AND
          30000000.
            <result_fields>-abc_class = 'B'.
          .    ENDLOOP.
    My question to clarify is that do I have to change the restricted char with Shopping cart values(orginal Query) to my present TOTAL VALUE(New Query),.
    But if suppose I am changing it in TOTAL VALUE(New Query), ,it will reflect the Shopping cart values (Original query) also as it has been copied frm the original query.
    pls anyone revert to me ASAP.
    thnx IN ADVANCE

    Hi
    We are calculating the total Value based on char ABC classification like the following:
    IF ztotal_it  > 30000000.
    _class = 'A'.
    ELSEIF ztotal_it BETWEEN 10000001 AND 30000000.
    abc_class = 'B'.
    I have created this ,not sure whether this is correct,I have found in the query,some calculated key figures r used,So i want to know do i have to change the calculated key figure also, as I am not getting any data while executing in RSRT.
    Leave my previous question...
    pls clarify me this anyone & tell whether the routine is right & it has to be end routine or start routine???

  • Pls help... URGENT!! :(

    hi,
    i am developing an application in struts
    i am making preparedstatements on a single connection
    now in certain method, i am firing two queries on two different tables. i want to make sure that either both the tables were updated or none of them.
    i know we can use connection.autocommit(boolean)
    problem with above approach is.. i am not sure whether this approach is thread safe.
    e.g. if there are two threads A and B
    now thread A is going to fire two queries (which i want atomic) and thts why i will make connection.autocommit false. after both the queries are done, i will commit and result wud be as expected.
    but now suppose thread B was in middle of same method and it has fired only one query , now is commiting thread A going to commit queries fired by thread B too as they both are using single connection??
    please help me in this.
    if connection.autocommit is not going to help, can i use "javax.transaction.*" in my struts application??
    please help
    thx
    vraj

    hi,
    i am developing an application in struts
    i am making preparedstatements on a single connection
    now in certain method, i am firing two queries on two
    different tables. i want to make sure that either
    both the tables were updated or none of them.
    AKA: Logical Unit of Work
    i know we can use connection.autocommit(boolean)
    problem with above approach is.. i am not sure
    whether this approach is thread safe.
    The method call itself has nothing to do with thread safety. As DuffyMo mentioned, if you only use varaibles that are either in the Action class's execute() method signature or declared locally within that method, then at first blush, your action will be thread safe.
    e.g. if there are two threads A and B
    now thread A is going to fire two queries (which i
    want atomic) and thts why i will make
    connection.autocommit false. after both the queries
    are done, i will commit and result wud be as
    expected. Correct. You cannot support a Logic Unit of Work with auto-commit enabled unless the LUW is atomic (in this case, a single SQL statement).
    but now suppose thread B was in middle of same method
    and it has fired only one query , now is commiting
    thread A going to commit queries fired by thread B
    too as they both are using single connection??
    In a technical or a practical sense? If you are using connection pooling, then a series of threads may, in fact, share that connection. But otherwise, no. Each thread should use its own connection. Even in pooling, the fact that other threads will use a given connection should not change your design. The pooling happens behind the scenes.
    please help me in this.
    if connection.autocommit is not going to help, can i
    use "javax.transaction.*" in my struts application??
    To use the transaction classes, you would want to have auto-commit set to false. And yes, you could use these classes in a Struts, or any other J2EE, application.
    >
    please help
    thx
    vrajIf you do want to implement a Logical Unit of Work across multiple SQL statements, here is the high-level procedure:
    Get a connection
    Set auto-commit to false
    Depending on the DBMS, you may need to issue a begin transaction
    Perform your SQL statements, passing the connection to each method
    If an exception occurs, call connection.rollback()

  • Project agreement question(pls help, a little bit urgent)

    hi,
    I created a project on PM and project funding agreement on project billing.
    But after I allocated it to a project and saved it, it shown that the amount I entered is allocated but not baselined.
    My question is why it is not baselined? what is the meaning of 'baselined'? how to operate to make it to be baselined?
    Thanks a lot in advance! ^_^

    After i made revenue budget. it is baselined.
    question solved. thanks.

    If u want to add Items data, u have to handle the Table control by writing the complete code.
    U have to write code for 2 items, when u press enter u will get new row to enter new record one by one.
