Stuck todo can't delete

I created a new todo in one of my email inboxes. Now when I want to delete it, it is "greyed out" but I can not edit it or delete it. When I try to add a new one mail crashes. Tried deleting the ical plist and the library cache files but it still comes back. Any suggestions?

I'm trying to finalize a DVD and am having a problem with the break point being stuck. No matter what I do, I can't change it. The track which the break point is set to is not used (except for the stuck break point) and cannot be deleted. A little background...
I'm using DVDSP 4.2.1 on a G5 1.8DP. The DVD is an interactive training video with 37 tracks (30 have a quiz at the end), 146 menus (mostly quiz questions), 126 scripts, and two languages (menus and audio tracks). Each track has a dozen or so chapter markers. The entire DVD is run through scripts with no direct links (menu button -> track).
I have checked every connection and every script and none are associated with the rouge track.
Early on I made a test DVD and had selected the 10th track as a break point. That was when there were less than 20 tracks. That DVD, if I can find it, appeared to work correctly. I continued to completion only to find that I could not change the break point.
I'm reasonably sure the cause for the DVDs not to run on any player is that the break point is too early and is putting more data on the second layer, which is not correct as far as I have found. There should be more on the first layer (0) than the second (1).
Now, I have moved the rouge track into the last VTS, which appears to have no effect on anything. I would think it would cause something to fail when Formatting the disc. There is no error in DVDSP, but the resulting DVD (using 3 brands of DVD+R DL and 3 different burners - I'm working on a 4th...)
One other odd thing. When I attempt to set any chapter marker to a break point on a track, it never has a black dot (as described in the manual). The setting in the inspector never sticks.
I really don't want to reconstruct this project. I have tried to remove the rouge track from one of the files inside the project, the same place the word "auto' (for automatic), but it made the DVDSP file corrupt.
I have tried to set the DVDSP to SL and burn the Video_TS using Toast without good results.
I'm up for any suggestions.

I had just did a fresh install on a G4 and did not update to the current 4.2.1 in hopes this issue was only in the current version. It didn't help. I've created a Save As project a couple of times.
BTW did you look in the connections tab also? (I think you mentioned you did?)
Yes... many times. Nothing is connected to the rouge track.
Try clearing the markers (remove all break point indicators if you set any in the timeline like you described, and also check the pain in the neck track, that could be part of the issue on the deleting side of things. If I recall I ran into that once.)
All chapter markers came from FCP and while I did try to add a break point only marker, it never set and it was removed.
I have removed everything from the rouge track more than once in trying this. When it is empty, the build fails because it is empty. Trying to create a dvd, I will add something short without any markers except Chapter 1, which can't be removed.
Then build the project and do not format. Then go to format and when the dialog box comes up look at the drop down. (In other words if you are marking in the timeline and looking at the green markers there, don't.) In the dialog that comes up, click on advanced tab, then where it says break point, use the pulldown which will have all valid breakpoint markers dark/black, while non-valid Layer Break Markers will be faded) If no marker is black there is no marker in the right place, regardless of you use automatic or not.
I do this each time. It is alway initially set (fresh) to the rouge track and I set it to Automatic. If I try to select any other chapter marker, it always reverts to the rouge track. The rouge track is alway at the top of the list.

You have been very helpful with your suggestions! Could I ask you to try something? Make a copy of any DVDSP project and with the disc selected, set the Disc Information (Inspector) to Dual, OTP, and select any chapter marker any track. Save the project, quit DVDSP, re-open the project, and see if you can select any other chapter marker. Mine always reverts to the rouge track with each selection.

IPhone 3GS app stuck installing - can't be deleted

I purchased a Tavelocity app for my iPad that requires iOS7. When I later went to use my 3GS iPhone (iOS v 6.1.6) I discovered that it was attempting to install the Travelocity app on the iPhone. It is now stuck in a "waiting" mode and cannot be deleted. When I press the Home button the app does not display an "X" to be deleted. When I connect to iTunes it shows the app in the right panes representing my iPhone, but not in the list to the left. Therefore, I cannot select it to be removed when I sync. I have searched the web for solutions but none have worked. Why would my iPhone 3GS attempt to install an app that requires iOS7 and what can I do to remove this app from my iPhone? Ever since this happened, my battery life has reduced significantly and if I attempt to do anything that requires a lot of power it crashes. Can someone please recommend a solution? I don't know if this is related to the problem I described above, but after downloading and installing updates to other apps from the App Store app, when I select to see the Purchased apps, it attempts to display them but is unable to do so. The list is blank.

Only photos taken by iPhone can be deleted normally, the ones synced via iTunes require a new photo sync.
Create a empty folder on your computer.
Connect device to iTunes.
Choose "sync photos".
Choose the empty folder you created.
Start sync.
Done.

I have a Bootcamp partition on my Imac with Mavericks which I can't delete because the Partition Layout in Disk Utility is greyed out and is stuck on 'Current'. What can I do? I was trying to install Windows 8.1 but apparently, this is not yet possible.
I was originally able to restore to my original Mac OSX partition using Boot Camp Assistant but then after entering Disk Utility and re-RAIDing the default RAID 1 to RAID 0 in the BootCamp partition (I suspect this is the cause of the problem but why was it defaulted to RAID 1 in the first place?!!!!), forever afterwards, I couldn't restore the single OSX partition.
Whenever I used BootCamp Assistant my choice to 'Install or remove Windows 7 or later version' was greyed out. Finally I went to Disk Utility to repartition but the Macintosh HD and BootCamp disk partition functions were also greyed out (even if I started up from Recovery mode holding down option, command and 'R' and choosing Disk Utility). BootCamp Assistant gives the error message 'The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition' with additional small script 'The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows', and DU gives the error message 'The full size of the Fusion drive is not available for repartitioning'.
What can I do to fix this problem? How can I make the Partition Layout button active in DU so I can change the partition to all OSX? I'm prepared to wipe off all my data etc to repartition and have backed up all to disk using Time Machine.

My problem is fixed now, thank you. It was caused by my changing the Boot Camp partition's 'RAID1' to 'RAID0'. If I hadn't done that, Boot Camp would still have been able to 'restore' back to the one partition. It was fixed with the help of Applecare by using a terminal and typing a command to erase the IP of the Macintosh disk (not the volume) as well as the IP of the Bootcamp partition (if I remember correctly), but then I had to restore the OS and all my applications and data etc which I had previously backed up using Time Machine. I haven't taken note of the exact command terminology used. It would be wise to speak to Applecare about this if possible.
Two words of warning, 1. According to the cause of this problem, it might be wise, after reinstalling the ops system to reinstall all extra applications one by one, manually, in case a similar problem arises again. Then manually copy back all data. Or the Mac user could use the Time Machine backup and then uninstall all the added apps then re-install them one by one manually. 2. Beware as after all this the user might not have the 'Recovery partition'. There is a small recovery partition (a few 100 Mb is size) which comes with all later Macs. After all this is done this tiny partition might not be there anymore and the user might have to re-install Mavericks again to get it back, or just install the upcoming update of Mavericks due in a month or so.

So, how do I delete this folder. Remember, I am not extremely familiar with technical terms.

I recommend you erase the TC.. it is the easiest and fastest solution.
In Airport utility open the disk tab and select erase.. choose quick erase.. it will take less than 1min.
Start again but copy files in small amounts.

Try these steps :
First Stop the Print Spooler. If you attempt to copy or delete any items in that folder while the Print Spooler is started, you will get an error stating that the items are in use.
If you need help stopping the spooler just tell me your Operating System.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS. Usually when you get to the PRINTERS folder you will get a pop up message stating that you need administrator permission to enter the folder, and all you need to do is press Continue.
There will be two items in the folder for every item in the print queue.
If you are wanting to manually delete the print queue instead, you can just delete the items at that time.

Hi I'm Daniel, I have a problem with my mail app on my mac, last week i tried to send 2 videos using mail drop but my application wasn't working at all, i close the application and send the videos using googledrive but now when I open my mail app theres 2 mails on the outbox and I CAN NOT DELETE THEM its frustrating because every time i click on the mails and select delete my mac gets stuck and i have to shut it off with the power botton. I tried to delete my mail accounts and put them back on, but it doesn't work at all, i tried to remove some folder that i saw in another discussion here but it doesn't work, please help me!

Go into iTunes and check "Sync Podcasts" then sync, uncheck "Sync podcasts" and sync, than do it again and it should take care of everything. Worked for me
Or just go into Settings -> General -> Usage and Select music - than hit delete and re sync from iTunes. That will clear all the audio caches from the phone

You can only delete individual computers if you have access to them. When you five authorizations in total you can choose to deauthorize all, then reauthorize the ones you want to use. You then can't repeat that process for a year. In short there is nothing you can do until you have five authorisations. Change your password just in case you left yourself signed in on the old one with no confirmation for purchases.

I downloaded the iPad 2 User's Guide, but its instructions for deleting a contact do not work. I cannot scroll down and find a Delete button to click. Oh dear. I Reset the iPad, and it made me set it up again, like I did when I first got it. When I got to the choice of "Set Up as New iPad" or "Restore from iTunes Backup," I chose "Restore from iTunes Backup." Then I tried to sync it with iTunes. iTunes gave me no error message, but the iPad is stuck on the screen that says, "Connect to iTunes," even though it IS connected to iTunes. Is this because I cannot connect to a wifi zone? I'm hardly ever in a wifi zone. I don't have access to one right now. Does this mean I can't use my iPad until I find a free wifi zone to connect to?

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.
