Stuck with repetitive logo on screen and cant restart on itunes or anything because the lock button is broken
I was on my iphone 4s and it randomly restarts to the apple logo. Usually this brings it back to the lockscreen in a minute or so but now it is just staying there. I have seen solutions where you just reset it by home+lockscreen button/ itunes, but i cant do this because i have a broken lock button..
I've found that using Chrome is very quirky on the Verizon website. Rather than get all upset, I simply use a different browser - whether it be IE, Firefox, Safari ... whatever will work. Just as an aside, reps have stated that the website is designed to work in IE. I've found other sites that are quirky in Chrome as well - I keep IE loaded just in case. It's easy enough to use IE now and then if I need to, and it saves me the frustration of quirky sites.
If you insist on not using IE, you can pay using your phone, or My Verizon mobile app, or by calling customer service. Waiting for Verizon to make their site cross browser compatible, 100%, is a lost cause, I think.

Macbook Pro Stuck at Apple Logo (gray screen) and keeps restarting
I've a problem with my Macbook Pro wherein it keeps getting stuck at the Apple Logo upon restarting (no spinning wheel). It eventually restarts itself maybe after 5 minutes but still keeps getting stuck in the grey screen where the Apple Logo comes up.
I've tried restarting this with CMD+R to do a "fsck -fy" and here's what I keep getting (attached picture). This screen eventually exits and my Mac restarts itself and gets stuck at the Apple Logo (grey screen).
I think this maybe a HD problem (possibly some corrupt files). Any suggestions/similar experiences? Any chance this can be resolved without reinstalling OS X?

Bought a refurbished macbook and it arrived today. was enjoying it for a while then i decided to reboot to get the new OS. I came back to it a minute later and there was a blue screen with the loader on it. My lock screen is frozen! It will not let me slide to unlock or touch the screen at all. I can't power it down either because the lock button is broken. A friend of mine said I might need a new Digitizer? Is there anyway I can avoid that? Pleasae Help!
I am having the SAME exact problem! Except instead of lock button broken it's my home button so I can't do the whole "put in recovery mode" deal. My screen only says "tap the home button 3 times" and it has my screen locked until I hit the home button but since it is broken I can't get in my phone at all. I have all of my work info in my phone so I'm screwed and can't get any help. PLEASE let me know if you find a way around this...!!!

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

My iPod Touvh 4th Generation won't turn on. It will not charge even after I used a few chargers and will not connect to a computer. The Home button is broken and I don't know if the Lock/Sleep button is now broken or stuck as well. I believe there may be a problem with the battery or the backlight. I've had my screen replaced once by some stooges. What should I do?

You are going to have to take it to the Apple Store to see if they can do anything for you. The Home button is critical for using your device. You need to get it fixed.

I forgot my passcode, so I was unable to access my phone. I then tried to restore it, but it has frozen during the process. It won't connect to my mac again and I can't stop the process because my lock button is broken. What do I do?
My first advice is "Back up the device, then have it replaced." Second item of advice, "Don't forget your passcode."
One of the purposes of the lock button is to recover from certain software failures. Without the lock button, such a recovery is nearly impossible. My advice would have served you best when the malfuction first developed, not after you forgot your passcode. -
I dropped it and it turned off. When the lock button worked I could just press the home and lock button down and the apple icon would appear. What do I do now? I already tried plugging it into my computer.

Sorry, there is no other way to turn your phone on. Make an appointment at an Apple store or go to a third-party repair shop. Be aware, if a third-party touches your phone, you forfeit the right to an out of warranty replacement from Apple.

My Iphone 5s blank screen and can hear voice command when i press the home button
My Iphone 5s was coming up with voice command and driving me nuts. After trying to reset the phone now I just have a blank screen. when i goes to restart the apple icon will show then the voice command lady will talk in the back ground but still no screen.
Any help pleaseTry one of these 4Rs toubleshooting steps:
Restart:
1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
2. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data

I was having trouble with synching my iphone 5 since the new operating system was installed. But I was waiting for my 6+ and figured it would be solved with my dandy new phone. No such luck. I downloaded a great deal of music and then added to it and synched again. Music gone, except paid for stuff bought on the phone. So I added more and tried to load it again, and it did. But now, I was afraid to add anything, backup, and synch for any reason as it takes 12 hours + to load my music.
So, I went back to basics and looked up the procedure. It does say that if you make a change, " you should hit the apple button before you synch." Which one?
No info on what they mean. And clearly this is a change. I'm feeling stupid, but lately, Apple makes changes and expects you to intuitively figure them out. I usually do but was stumped here. It might be nice to get a heads up when changes occur.
Please help !
Oh and also, I can't seem to download ringtones I have created.I am syncing my iphone to my iTunes account and then I do a backup and also making sure all updates are current. Then by going to the my phone and then going to the right and selecting the restore my iphone.
