Stuck workflow after crash - SWPC is also not helping
Hi Guys,
There are some instances for a particular workflow background task which stucks and stops the workflow processing.
This problem is not with all the instances.
We have executed SWPC also but that is also not helping to solve our problem.
Workflow administrator has to execute it 4-5 times to resolve this problem.
After executing the SWPC the workflow log is updated with tRFC entries as shown below:-

Check whether WF-BACTH or workflow administrator user is locked . Try to unlock it and check

Flash Crashes, _alpha property also not correct
Im posting this in both General Discussion and Actionscript
because I'm not sure whether its just a Flash problem, or if my AS
is causing it somehow.
Heres the problem:
I ttach a movieclip dynamically.
When I do ANYTHING to this movieclip (change its _x, or
_alpha) it changes color, almost like its blend mode is being set
to Invert or something, which it ISNT.
If I trace the _alpha just after changing it Flash crashes.
If I change its _x, when it reaches a certain position Flash
crashes.
Its kinda hard to describe but I'll upload all my files if
someone can help me. This is the first time I've ever seen this
(the weird color change), or heard of AS making Flash crash (apart

I'm using a StackManager class, the problem is occuring in
CountDown.as, which is opened from Select.as. I've included
comments where (i think) the problem is occuring. -
ITunes crashes on launch - Reinstall not helping
I'm stumped.
About a week or two back, iTunes stopped working, upon starting up it would promptly stop responding & Windows would close it (with the "iTunes has stopped working" pop up).
It will then sit & keep my HDD busy for the next minute or two before finally letting my system carry on without lag.
I've tried uninstalling it & starting a fresh, no joys, I've even tried uninstalling all Apple Software on my machine, & also clearing up any old preference files that it leaves behind. But still no joy. I'm out of ideas... I think I've tried most of the suggestions in the support section of the site. Should probably say I tried it on another user account on my machine & the same thing happened. Post-reinstall it does last slightly longer, but only by about 30seconds, & it doesn't let me do anything as it's too busy trying to create a library..
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, 32-bit version.
Any thoughts will be most welcome...ShapeShifter is only installed on the account that doesn't crash. I tried disabling ApplicationEnhancer, and that didn't help. Maybe uninstalling ShapeShifter completely from the system would help.

B210e Inksystem failure, Turn off and on to resolve after cleaning heads. Does not help
Currently usinga B210e Printer, had paper jam and removed jam. Now I have an error message saying INK System Failure
Completed trouble shooting guide by HP, even clean head, reassembled and still have Ink system failure message along with Turn off and turn on message which does nothing after hours of frustration. Have throughly inspected printer and cleaned head printer readies itself and then tells me turn of and on. Have removed elctrical plug from wall and still nothing. Please help if you can as I am about to throw printer under an eighteen wheeler.

I understand that your printer has an alphanumeric error message. An alphanumeric error message means your printer has a hardware issue. If the steps in the document below are not able to resolve your issue then you will have to consider replacing your printer.

ITunes hangs after loading, un/reinstall does not help
Hello. I use iTunes on a Win 7 desktop, 64 bit version. When I click the iTunes icon, it loads, then it hangs. I cannot even scroll the subscribed podcasts. The task manager indicates it's not responding, and it will do so until I force stop the program (end process). I just updated iTunes today. I'm not able to access the version in the current operating state. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results. Any clue what's happening? Thanks!
Uninstalling Bonjour seems to have fixed the lockup for me. However it is still ridiculously slow. Something to do with Podcasts is seriously awry.
Just trying to download a single Podcast from my library and my ipod, and iTunes takes more than 10 seconds to even respond, and I then have to delete them twice before they actually get deleted.
I will make a separate thread about it, but all this Cloud functionality is just making iTunes slower and slower, and I wish you could 100% turn it off. -

Do you have icloud account? You need firstly turn off find my iphone (by go to icloud.com -->sign in --> go to "Find my iphone" and erase your iphone in it). And then you restore your iphone with DFU mode.
When you erase your Find my iphone and if you can not restore, your iphone has a problem with hardware.

MBP dead after sleep - SMC reset does not help
The MBP was used for watching a video in the car the other day, was put to sleep by closing the lid, and now it won't come on again.
When I press the button on the battery, two dots light up, so I guess there's enough battery left to start it. However, when I connect the power adaptor, the charging light never switvches to orange - it stays on green.
And a press on the power button dosen't do anything.
I tried an SMC reset without success.
What now?
Please tell me there's other things to try?! I've recently had it for repair twice. Once because the keyboard connector beneath the battery needed to be reseated (I changed hard drive at the same time) at last week the NVIDIA video card problem had to be fixed (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2377).They took it back, changed the logic once more, and now it seems to work again. Hopefully a little bit longer than the 24 hours the previous one worked.
It seems like all programs runs unaffected although the whole logic board is changed. I believe that I would have had to reinstall everything if I were on a Windows machine, at least that's how it worked a few years ago. -
How to activate CS3 after HDD crash? Error 159:18, reinstalling did not help.
I am unable to re-activate CS3 after a hard drive crash, despite complete re-installation of the software.
I have: MacBook Pro 2008, OSX 10.6.8, CS3 Master Collection.
I had a hard drive crash and had to restore from Time Machine. On previous occasions when that happened, I have been able to re-open and activate CS3 with no problem. This time I got "we are unable to activate Adobe CS3 MC" message, error code 159:18. I contacted Adobe by Chat, they recommended uninstalling and then re-installing CS3 from my original disks or http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs3-product-downloads.html
. I did that, but I got the exact same message and error code. After that, Adobe Chat could not help and pointed me here.
CS3 has worked fine for six years on this same laptop, even after several HDD crashes and restores from Time Machine. It does not appear to be simply a Time Machine-caused error. (Furthermore, if I startup my laptop from a cloned bootable backup external drive, CS3 still opens.)
Could it be a hard disk problem, the same one that has caused previous crashes?do not use time machine to install adobe programs.
uninstall everything installed using time machine, clean (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and then properly install using the installation files.

Check your system for possible Malware. But you have to do it in WIndows Safe Mode.
(Do not use your own Anti-virus to SCAN)
Start your computer in "Safe mode with networking", go to this link download a free version of Malwarebyte.

Install and perform update immediately, then do a full SCAN. Remove malware if it indeed finds any. Restart computer to regular windows to let Malwarebyte complete the removal.

Browser starts out working normally but within a few minutes it freezes, stops responing and I have to close it using Task Manager. When I open Task Manager, it shows two Firefox programs running with different icons even though I only opened one window.
iTunes saves out a new copy of the entire library file every time a change is made to the library. This is not new behavior.
The slowdowns I have seen like this have ususally been caused by:
A virus
or
Some anti-virus software is incorrectly interpreting the rewriting of the file and is causing a problem.
Either way, you should definitely update your anti-virus software and definitions to the latest, and run a full scan of your system. If that does not help, you may want to recreate your iTunes library. -
Workflow in Project server 2013 online not going particular stage after Approval

i have created workflow using sharepoint designer 2013 for project server 2013 online. and i have also set the approver after the first stage. when i create a project using this workflow, project is created successfully and the approval task also go for
a approval to specific user. and i have set the property that after approval it has to go on specific stage. but the problem is when user approve the task it shows approved but my stage in workflow is remain same. it is not going to any stage.
i don't know why this type of problem is occur.
FYI, i have created same workflow for Project server 2013 on premise(Which is installed in my server) and
it is working fine but when i want to deploy this workflow in
project server 2013 online its giving error.
so please help me to solve this type of issue.

All other desired workflow actions work as expected. Emails are sent, project is moved from stage to stage, however as soon as the workflow approval task is completed, either Approved or Rejected, the Internal Status is changed to Canceled and the
workflow fails.
What is interesting is when the Approval task is completed, the approver will receive an email notification that the task was CANCELLED or DELETED....
not COMPLETED, which is what would be expected.
Has anyone seen this - any potential resolution? -

You can find the Import menu entry in the Bookmarks Manager (Library)

Import & Backup is the third button on the toolbar in the Library that looks like a star.
You should be able to export the bookmarks via that button.

Regarding SWPC and stuck workflows
Hi all,
I already solved the issue but I do need to satisfy my curiosity.
Due to a particular step that remained IN PROCESS status, I had a number instances for the same workflow stucked and appearing on SWPC. Here's what I did:
1. Check and double check ST22, bindings, etc. - not likely given it's a standard step, the well known FIPP->POST.
2. Check SAP_ALL and locks for WF-BATCH.
3. Continue Workflow: ok, work item dissapeared form SWPC.
4. Check workflow log: no changes, work item remains IN PROCESS.
5. Check SWU2/SM58: found one error: "Connection closed (no data)".
6. Re-execute that LUW: ok, apparently no errors here.
7. Check Workflow log: no changes, work item remains IN PROCESS.
8. Check SWPC: workflow appeared again.. back to square 1.
Later on, I tried the method for that workflow instance with SWO1 and on first execution I got the message: "Object needs to be regenerated". I tried the method again and executes with an error I was expecting: "No authorisation for posting".
More later on, re-executed SWPC and the workflow got completed. Executed SWPC for the remaining instances and all of them worked on the first try.
Questions:
1) Why that behaviour happened? The Business Object needed to be regenerated... why? This is on a QAS system and the BOR hasn't suffered a modification.
2) I understand SWPC only reacts for workflows being stucked for more than a day. Is that true? Why?
3) "Connection closed (no data)": this means the RFC failed because of what? "Test Connection" of the RFC WORKFLOW_LOCAL_XXX in SM59 worked fine all day long...
4) Anything else relevant?

Andres.Just for reference of the next lucky soul that has to deal with this, I found the problem!
Short version: run report RFBIPPG0 before using workflow for Parking Documents.
Long version:
FIPP.Post executes FM 'PP_CODING_GENERATE' which does an IMPORT FROM DATABASE... and if that IMPORT fails, it triggers a SUBMIT REPORT RFBIPPG0... which does an EXPORT...TO DATABASE... -- YES, the initial set up for the first IMPORT to work properly.
Later on, because that IMPORT faled, FIPP.Post method executes a LEAVE PROGRAM. My guess is that Workflow run does not like the SUBMIT statement (perhaps due to implicit COMMIT?) So the EXPORT... TO DATABASE... never took place.
And from here onwards, every time SWPC is used to continue workflow, the same situation is presented. By running report RFBIPPG0, the EXPORT is done and workflow can be continued with no issue.

After reviewing documents and making notes for about 7 hours, for some reason Notes crashed and the note I was editing got lost. All other notes are still available.
Fortunately I have my back-up running, but I can't find where Notes stores its documents.

FransIf the note was backed up before you deleted it, AND you haven't backed up since it was deleted, you can get it back by restoring the backup. There's no way to retrieve any data deleted from the phone that wasn't backed up. Also, if you backed up AFTER the note was deleted, it was also deleted from the backup...
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Data and Settings
Setup and reactivate the phone, choosing to restore the backup from iCloud. -
I update my IPhone4 to IOS6 from IOS4.3.3. My all songs are missing in the Iphone4. How to get those songs into my Iphone from ITunes. Even after sync also not coming to IPhone.
The iphone is not storage/backup device.
The sync is one way - computer to iphone.
The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You should copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.
