Student and Teacher Edition order form yet to be addressed.

On 28 or 29 December I forwarded a completed Student and Teacher Edition order form located on the Adobe website and I think I recall that Adobe stated in response that the order would be reviewed and replied to most likely within 30 days.  I have yet to receive a reply in the last 45 days and would appreciate this query being directed to the relevant section of the company for its attention.  Thank you in anticipation.

    This is the worst "customer service" experience I have ever had with a software company.

    A service alert - even though the time is well outside that specified in the alert.
    Following the instructions in the previous post did take me to a form asking for my coupon code. But it wanted a 14 or 16 digit code - while the code on my coupon is 12 digits (13 including a hyphen). Is this some sort of cruel joke?
    Of course the telephone number for service only works 9 to 5 Monday to Friday. Are they kidding? That's less than 1/4 of the time!
    I can't believe in this day and age that registering a product can be so painful and frustrating. Maybe a class action law suit would get Adobe's attention as they clearly don't have the least idea about expected levels of service.
    Grrr.

  • Where's The CS6 Complimentary Upgrade for The Student and Teacher Editions?

    I bought the student and teacher edition of CS5.5 Design Premium a couple of weeks ago and got the email telling me how to get my complimentary upgrade to cs6 a few days ago. When I went on to adobe.com to look up the pricing for the student and teacher editions of the cs6 programs, there is no upgrade option (the only price shown says "Full from 449.00"). When I looked up pricing for the non-student and teacher editions, the upgrade option is there.
    Are the upgrades for Student and Teacher Editions not available yet? Is there anybody else who bought the Student and Teacher Editions having this issue, or is it just me?

    I talked with someone from Adobe earlier and they told me that I cant upgrade to another student and teacher edition but I can upgrade to a retail version still at no cost. They also sent me a link to a page telling me more about how to claim the upgrade, and the page mentions a "coupon code" that I have to enter during checkout.

    The email didnt include a coupon code, and I followed the steps but the price remains at the regular upgrade price. I read on the "how to claim" page the associate showed me that I would be getting a code no later than May 31st. Do you think this email was maybe informing me that I am eligible for an upgrade and that they would send me a coupon code at a later date?

    Hello all,
    I wanted to buy the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Student and Teacher Edition which I would be eligible to buy
    but as it seems, the Paypal option in the adobe store  doesn´t seem to work.
    I already contacted the customer service "Kundendienst" but they told me that they don´t offer paypal - odd because as you can see it is on their own site..?
    Since I don´t own a creditcard nor do I ever want one *, I also asked for a secure and good payment method called "Lastschriftverfahren" so I could easily give adobe  money from my bank.

    I would be actually glad  to give money to adobe but what would be a possible way now?
    there are alternatives like Photoline, Corel and so on but I would love to try it with Adobe first.

We don't have any access to Adobe records, and your serial number is now available for anyone to use. Bad choice. You can download the latest version of Lightroom 5 from the following website and use your serial number (hopefully) to activate it.

    I received a redemption code for Adobe Creative Cloud for ETLA from my school and signed up with the redemption code but now it is saying that I  only have Online Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition (one-year). What can I do to change it to the Adobe Creative Cloud for ETLA that I need for my college courses.

    I do not understand your issue, ETLA is just a educational form of CC, you have redeemed CC using redemption code on Jan 20, 2015, it valid for an year.
    Are you talking about how to use it offline as desktop app, then you can use the CC without internet for up-to 90 days, you need to log in once in 90 days to keep the CC active.

  • Submitting academic proof for Adobe Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition

    I was contacted to validate my academic status for a Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition I purchased via adobe.com on May 14, 2014. The Education FAQ page (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing /education-faq.html) states:
    "Submit your proof of eligibility when you place your order. If you have a pending order, go to My Orders in your Adobe account, and click Submit Proof."
    However, when I go to My Orders page, there is no link saying "Submit Proof". I do have my proof readily available, but I am not sure how else I can submit it.
    I was told my subscription would be canceled in if I could not prove my academic status within 14 days (it was sent on July 2nd), and am still awaiting a response from Adobe Customer Support. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Bakz did you just purchase CS6?  If so you may want to work with your reseller to obtain a Mac version of the license.

  • Why is the download "Not applicable" for my online purchase of Adobe Captivate 8 Student and Teacher Edition for Mac?

    I purchased “Adobe Captivate 8 Student and Teacher Edition” for Mac on 7/31/14 and it is now 12/17/14 (only 5 months later) but it is showing as “Not applicable” when I go to download (maybe re-download) the program. I understood that I would be able to use the application on 2 computers, one at home and one at work. I think I’ve downloaded the program at home one time but have yet to install and activate it. I now have a new computer at work that can support that program and want to install the program on my office computer, but cannot download it again. Please advise.

    It seems like that you have purchased a subscription for Captivate 8. In subscription you do not require any serial number. Subscriptions are activated on the basis of your Adobe Id. When user will install Captivate he has to sign in with the same Adobe Id under which they bought subscription. It will get activated after successful sign in during the installation.
    As far as the installer is concern there is no difference in the trial version installer or purchased version installer. The installer is same for trial and purchased copy. All user needs to do is sign in during the installation if it is a subscription or use his serial number if it is a perpetual license or volume license.
    You may download the trial version from the link mentioned above and then use your Adobe Id to activate the subscription.

    Hi, I'm from Australia. I want to purchase a Student and Teacher edition. I study at... https://www.open.edu.au currently. I have a student card from them that I could use for verification, but I'm not sure if they would be eligable. See, they are called "Open Universitites" but they send you to other unis to do the work with... e.g. in my case, Griffith University (which I know Griffith would most likely be okay, but I don't have a proper ID from them).
    Yes, they do have courses longer than 2 years. I'm just not sure if I can use Open Uni as proof, or if I would have to hunt down some document to show from Griffith.
    If anyone has any clue to this, help would be appreciated. If it is out of the scope of your expertise, coud you at least direct me to an email adress or something from adobe I can send my question to? Everytime I try to find a form of contact with them offically, the criteria of my question doesn't quite fit, so I'm confused.
    Thanks in advance. I just don't want to buy a program and find out I'm not actually eligable for the student edition!
