I just noticed that the price has gone up from $22 to $33 for my monthly payments for the student creative cloud and am wondering why?

I too have been plagued by this problem and tried a number of fixes. Running Mac mini with Lion, Ethernet connection to airport extreme, 3rd gen ATV also hard wired to base station, and 2nd gen ATV wireless in bedroom. Itunes library is on external drive plugged in usb to the mini.
My latest troubleshoot was to install iTunes 10.6.1 and alas, no solution to the problem. Can anyone pinpoint the version of iTunes that actually worked? I have never actually had this configuration work properly as I just bought the Mac mini recently for the sole purpose of functioning as an iTunes server. It is headless and the only way to access is via screen share. Once accessed, it functions as it should. Wake on LAN, Caffeine, even tried to set an iTunes alarm program to play once an hour to keep the thing ready for action. No dice on any of those.
I do wonder if there's a configuration on the base station that would solve the issue. Tweaking network settings is beyond my expertise though.

Equium P200-178: 17" lcd screen has gone funny colours

My 17" screen on my equium p200-178 has gone funny colours as if when looking at any pictures there is far to much saturation on the screen.
I have plugged in an external monitor and that screen works fine.
So i am going th have to change the screen.
I need to know is do any of the other 17" laptops or notebooks use the same 17.1" WXGA lcd glossy screen that is ccfl with one back light, if so which models? and does any one know what the part number(s) are...

Thank you very much PauPau for your brilliant reply. I have a very good friend who is more than competant to perform the work it was just a case of the fact that after an extensive trawl of the net i have found the 17.1 " screens for most of the other models in the 17" of satalite range and even the 17.3" for the satalite L550 at one stockist at sensible prices but they just dont list them for the Equium P200, where as most other stockists had listings for all the ranges of what seemed to be the same screens. Does anyone know the price for the student upgrade of ID CS4? On the web, it only has the full for $199.
I belive the Adobe sales is closed at this time and I thought maybe someone would know right off the bat.

Confirmed. For student / academic versions, the only upgrades are to full versions. There are
no upgrades from one student / academic version to the next student / academic version of the product. These versions are designed to assist students learning to use the products and graphic arts, giving them a fairly economical entry into the product line after which point, they would upgrade to the next commercial version. The student / academic prices even including the first upgrade to a commercial version are quite advantageous compared to initially purchasing a commercial version. The student / academic versions are
not designed to cater to perpetual students. As Bob notes, there is a difference between volume academic licenses and individual shrink-wrapped student / academic (or educational) versions. Unfortunately, the nomenclatures, especially across geographies, is not always very consistent.

I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.

Why is 50GB of music gone? All music should exist on the computer. Only a fool would rely on a single device which could easily be lost or stolen to store their content on.

Try and do a hard reset by holding down the home button and the sleep/wake button and then turning it back on
If that does not work you have to do a restore unfortunately

UDPATE:
Spoke with Express lane, and issue was escalated. Kudos to the support guys that handled this one (Brian and Yi). Went through everything in detail and took all the crash dumps off the iphones and ipads to send to engineering.
After backing up the contacts, the recommendation was to delete all contacts in iCloud. Doing that caused my iCloud to crash (in the browser), so more crash dumps were sent to apple.
Eventually got all contacts deleted, then did a resync. Looks like IOS devices are coming back to life and syncing again.
Also, Outlook iCloud connector has just been updated to ver 1.0.1 so i installed that on their recommendation.
BOTTOM LINE workaround:
1. Backup contacts
2. Delete contacts in iCloud
3. Delete accounts on IOS devices
4. Recreate accounts on IOS devices.
Hoping a real root cause can be found and real fix implemented. This has caused me to doubt the stability of iCloud, so i will procees with caution.

Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.

Unfortunately, iOS 7 is too hard to push for the iPhone 4 and therefore has a lot of effects turned off to try to get it to run as smoothly as possible.
However, it becomes better and better with each update coming but it's hard to do anything about the hardware on an already released phones.
If you still have trouble or think they are too hard. My tip is, if so, to restore your iPhone 4 and make a clean setup with no iCloud backup. But all your photos in a photostream so you can access it later.

I've had an iPod Touch 4th generation for a few years now, and, today, for the first time, the screen has gone white and their are vertical lines on it. What happened was I accidentally dropped my iPod Touch on tile and it landed on its back. I tried it out right afterwards to see if it was still working and it seemed like it was perfectly fine. Later on, I got an email from one of my friends, so I slid the email button on the lock screen to see the email. In the email, there was a link to a gif image, so I opened it in Safari. After I was done with it, I closed that tab. I also had a second tab open from earlier, so I wanted to close that tab as well. When I clicked on the button to see all tabs and close one, the screen completely froze. I held on to the on/off button on the top of the iPod, and, after about a minute, the screen switched to a completely white screen with lines on it. I've tried holding onto the on/off button again and it doesn't work. I also tried plugging it into my Windows 7 computer and opening iTunes, but my computer doesn't even recognized it is plugged in. It won't appear under the "computer" section in Windows Explorer, which will allow me to do USB-related tasks with it. iTunes doesn't recognize that it is plugged in either, so I can't do anything like restore the iPod to factory settings. The home button on my iPod hasn't been working for a while so i've always been using the accessibility feature that gives me a home button on the screen. Now that I can't access that, I can't hold down both the on/off button and the home button at the same time. What should I do? Should I send it in to Apple for repairs (which I won't do and would rather buy a new iPod Touch)? I am thinking of just leaving it to, hopefully, have the battery drain and the iPod would die. Then, I could charge it and see what happens. Other than that, i'm just clueless right now and I have no idea what I should do. Please help me!

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I tried reloading Aperture 2.1, but that did not change anything. I have also turned the system off, for a period of time, and then turning it back on, when I click on Aperture, it comes up and locks in the thumbnail mode. I can view my stored pictures, even modify them, but it still says thumbnails.
I got in this mode by trying to import "one jpeg photo", from a scanned slide using a Nikon Scan4 IS5000ED scanner. I had saved the scan to my desktop before I tried to import it.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

I updated to Firefox 4 but now Fire FTP add on has gone

I updated to Firefox 4 and was about to go to Fire FTP to upload some files to a web site but it has gone from the tools menu. I have looked for it and cannot seem to find it in any other menus. Do I have to reinstall it? Does this mean I would have lost all my passwords that were stored on there??
There was not information during installation that this would happen even though I did get the message about another add on!
