I have bought a student CS6

I have bought a student CS6 as I attend Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen, WA and have installed it on my desktop and on my laptop, which I carry to school. The laptop and desktop were initialized with the proper number sent by email with no problems. Last Saturday when opening the program it wanted to give me a 30 day trial which is wrong, but I had to day yes and expected to put the initialized number in later. Trying to put the number in it says that it is not correct and now I can’t open the program at all.
I can understand that you want to stop the stealing of your programs, but penalizing the legitimate buyer is making it a little too hard.

As Jeff said, something is messing with your licensing system. Either it's a genuine permission issue or another software on your system is interfering, which could be anything from an overly keen virus scanner to some exotic freeware program that has replaced a critical system DLL. Anyway, you did provide zero system information, so this is not even beginning to go anywhere. Check the things I mentioned and then come back with more details.

Student CS6 on pc and mac?

I have a student license. Can I install on more than one computer? My pc(win7) is dying and I want to install on my macbook(10.8), but I'm getting an error that my serial number is wrong. Is this because I have to deactivate my other copy? I have checked several times that I'm using the right number.

which cs6 product?
with most cs6 products, your one license entitles you to install/activate on 2 pcs or 2 macs but, not one of each.
with most cs6 products, if you purchased a pc license and want to install/activate on a mac, you need a cross-grade: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/order-product-platform-language-swap.htm l
you should deactivate (help>deactivate) any adobe product you are no longer going to use so you don't needlessly exceed your 2 activations.

Yes, student versions of the Creative Suite are eligible for commercial upgrade pricing. You can't upgrade from one student version to another student version but you can upgrade from student to commercial.
You can buy a qualifying upgrade through the adobe store in exactly the same way you would if you already had a commercial license.

Student CS6 redeem code not working...

I am a student and I got the CS6 web and design edition (very excited) I did the hooplah with getting my product number certified and me as a student is all gravy, but I am trying to get things finished, I have my redeem code and when i try to submit under the "Get Serial" link, to get the serial and a download, It says that it hasn' been activated and that i need to contact the store i bought it from (my school) But... i don't understand why its not working...

Installing Student CS6 on 2 PCs

I've read that CS6 can be dual installed but I don't know how.
When I try putting the serial number for my laptop it says the number is invalad.. it worked with no issues when I installed it months ago on my desktop.
Does dual installation not work for the student edition?

Both must be the same operating system: either both Windows or both Mac OS X. You cannot mix one Mac and one PC.

Can't verify student cs6 design suite which I brought from the apple store

Hi,
I brought the student version of creative suite 6 design standard from the apple store about a month ago and I haven't had any luck getting the serial number. Inside the box I was given a set of instructions which I follow to a 'open customer service case' I then continue to give them the order number and the eligibility proof. However I got an email back that 'they were unable to identify my order number or coupon number'. So I when back instead to find the coupon number, but there was no mention of a coupon number on my box but the product number look similar to one of the examples given in the email mentioning about the coupon number which begun with 'DSGNxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx'. Thinking this was the coupon number I tried to enter it but I ran out of space in the in box so I guessed this wasn't the coupon number.
I tried using https://www.identit-e.com/default/index/submitadobe instead which asked for the product code but still this came up which problems.
So please help what am I doing wrong or why isn't it working for me?

Which country/region are you located in? If it North America then you would want to enter your product code on the page indicated. If you are unable to locate your product code on your box then you may want to work with your reseller to obtain a replacement.

If you purchased it thru the school then you probably need to pursue the matter with the school. Some schools set up special arrangements with Adobe that can have limited licensing provisions.
If you purchased it thru Adobe then you need to contact them thru chat to see what the issue might be...

Photoshop student cs6 opens then closes immediately.

There aren't any error message that apear before it closes it just closes as if it was closed manually. I've re-installed but that didn't fix the problem. I can't get that ctrl + atl +shift thing to work.

2. Go to Preferences and then signout
3. Relaunch Photoshop and resignin using same Adobe ID.

I was wondering since i am on a tight budget bing a student if i could pay for photoshop cs6 monthly

CS6 is not the current version of Photoshop. Adobe still markets a perpetual CS6 version of Photoshop however it is highly unlikely to be a Student CS6 offering. I believe all Student and Teacher offerings are for creative cloud software. Adobe do not support or marker old version of products with the exception of Photoshop CS6. CS6 Bugs are not being address the only ne support CS6 gets is new camera raw file support in ACR. CS6 does not get new feature in Photoshop and ACR.

Making in InDesign CS5.5, editing in CS6, then opening in CS5.5 again

I'm just a student, and I've recently bought the Design Student CS6.
My school uses CS5.5, so If I make a document in InDesign CS5.5 at school, then take it home and work on it in CS6, save it then go back to the computers at school to work on it again, will it still open and work correctly?
if not, is there any way I could save it or any sort of workflow I could follow that would help me avoid hiccups?
Like say working only in CS6 at home?

Save as IDML. Don’t expect it to work perfectly.
New features will be lost and text will likely reflow.

CS6 Master Suite Discs Wont Load Inorder to Install

I have accepted agreements and registered my products. I have the student CS6 Master Collection and when I insert a disc, any of them, none will even load to the point of prompting to begin installation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This is for a MacBook Pro. When I put the disc in you can hear it start to run then it dies back down to nothing. There is never a screen or error, etc. to come up with direction on what might be occuring. My laptop is able to install this much is for sure - I just installed my new office suite - only seem to be running into issues with the CS6. Please help and Thank you in advance.

Student Serial not accepted by Trial Version

I have installed the Photoshop cs6 extended and Indesign CS6 Mac OS versions and they are working fine. I then purchased the Student CS6 creative suite and have recieved my serial number. I have tried to enter this serial number to activate the trial version of Photoshop and it is not accepted. Do I have to uninstall the trial versions and download the student verions? If so, what is the best way to uninstall?

The process followed is incorrect. You will have to uninstall the individual software i.e. Photoshop Extended CS6 and Indesign CS6 both. After both these software are unistalled you then need to install the suite(here you can choose the software from the suite that you want).
