Hello Everyone,
My friend is planning to open new account for their family. She wondering if Verizon have student discount for new customers?
And is it for her bill or the total bill that's discounted? Also she heard If one of her family used to have a Verizon phone does she get a $50 gift/rebate card?

The person needs to check with the school district they work for to see if they give anything for using verizon. Most of the school districts where I live do if you sign with verizon as my husband is a teacher and we get 20% off just the main account holder's line which is him. You just have to provide a recent paystub as proof and give them a work email address but you have to do this through verizon. Amazon I have no clue so would have to ask them about any special rebates they are running. Have never bought a phone from them but check the contract you sign with amazon as it's a separate one from the one you sign for verizon service so you should be aware of what they require. Mary

I am slightly confused about this, looking for an answer on my own I went through this process:
I found the page for the Creative Suite 6 Products, and on the right side it says "CS6 or Creative Cloud? So, I went to the Creative Suite 6 FAQ, where I saw the question, "Does Adobe offer education discounts?" with the answer, "Yes. Qualifying full- or part-time students, faculty, and staff of accredited educational institutions can purchase Adobe products at a reduced price." So, I poked around on the checkout page for Adobe Photoshop CS6, but there seemed to be no way to apply an education discount. I then clicked the Purchasing FAQ link on the checkout page, next the Education FAQ link, and from there the student and teacher product catalog under purchase options, but Creative Suite 6 is not listed in any form. The only options presented on the page are Creative Cloud Membership, Photoshop CC, Photoshop Lightroom, Creative Cloud Photography Plan, Photoshop Elements 13 & Adobe Premiere Elements 13, and Photoshop Elements 13.
Is there another spot with other student discounts, is the CS6 FAQ misleading and there's not really a student discount for CS6, or am I missing something else?

I was just wondering, if there is a student discount for the new lightroom 6? I would buy it as an upgrade and as a stand-alone version.

opdesigns: It is the upgrade which you can get for $79. However, the upgrade will only work if you have a valid licence key for your previous version. I need add discount for particular customer on delivery.
Actually what i want;
ABC as customer takes Goods quantity 100 pc rate 5 total=500 and VAT 15% of total =75 then gross total =575.
and discount for this customer is 1.5% of base amount that is 500*1.5%= 7.5
now amount due for the customer is
Base amount=100 * 5    =500
VAT15%      =500*15% = 75
Total                                 575
-Discount 1.5%                 7.5
Dues Total                        567.5
This is the result will be shown.

Questions about Student Discounts for CS6

I know for a fact I want to get the CS6 Production Premium from B&H, but only recently did I realize that my media production class could potentially make me eligible for a student discount. I have a few questions regarding getting a student discount as I have never gotten one before.
My first question is: will I ever have to pay the rest of the full price? Or more importantly, will the student version stop working after a period of time?
My second and most important question is about installing on more than 1 PC. I'm currently on my beast of a laptop. The iMac at my school with CS6 runs smooth as butter, and it's lower spec than my laptop. Despite this, I plan on getting a monster desktop PC in the future for my productions, and I'm confused about my rights of installation with a student copy. I fully understand that I cannot install it on another persion's computer; only on my own computer. It mentions (for teacher's I assume) that you need to purchase additional licenses for installing on other computers. Does this mean that when I buy a new computer, I need to buy a new license as well? Or can I just use the one that came in the box?
Any clarification on these questions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Your license doesn't expire and you never have to pay the price difference.You can only install the suite on one type of computer, even if you have 2 activations. A PC serial won't work on Mac and vice versa. Only 2 PC installs will work or 2 Mac ones, respectively. Activations can be managed from within the apps or by giving customer support a call to reset them, if you used them up and forgot to deactivate.

I am an MBA Student at Hult International Business School, since we are doing countless case studies, it is always a problem to print all the material or read it from small e-reader. I think you Sony has done a great job with DPT-S1, and direct sales with a price drop to $999 is promising but it still to much for a student. Since you target students, it would be great if you could apply a student discount like Microsoft does with Surface tablets and Apple does with Ipads, these are your competitors. ( your device currently outruns Kindle and other e-readers so I wouldn't consider them ) Surface starts from $700 and Ipad starts from $500.
I think you can reach to a much wider student market with %20-%25 student discount, which would keep your list price at the desired level and still increase your market penetration.
There are already a handful competitors on the eve of launching 13.3 e-readers, i think Sony should benefit from first-mover advantage in the market and create a solid customer base before the lunch of competitors' 13.3" e-readers which is expected to be priced between $500-$600.

CRM E-Commerce BOB Web shop - Duplicate check for New Customer Creation

Hi,
In CRM E-Commerce BOB Web shop we have a requirement wherein new customer creation should go through a duplicate check. Only unique customers should be created as BP in backend GUI, in case a customer already exists with the same credentials, BP should not be created and user should get a message that the customer already exist in the system.
Currently the system is not preventing me from creating new customers with same credentials.
In case anybody has worked on the similar requirement or has any idea about the same, Kindly help.

How to set new role for new custom entity only

I created a new custom entity, I want to create new role for it only. So I created new role and set custom entity User role. But When I login the user with created role, it show now right to access CRM.

Are you trying to grant access so that users can use this custom entity but no other data at all?
You will still have to include access to all sorts of bits of CRM just to make the user interface work - especially the things on the Business Management and Customization tabs of your security role. You also need to check these 6 settings:
Special privileges in CRM Security Roles
If this is the only security role you plan to give to your users, I would suggest you start from a standard role and remove access to other entities, rather than start from blank and work upwards.
