Student eligibility

I have sent my student eligibility to adobe over 2 weeks ago and have still not received the serial number.  How can I get them to respond?

  • I have been awaiting the student eligibility document for months...

My order has been stuck in this phase for a while. Was I supposed to send something else in? It was never really made clear

  • Proving Student Eligibility

I bought Adobe CS6 Design Standard Student Teacher Edition from Apple. It seems I have to prove my eligibility before I can recieve a serial number via email to activiate my product. How and where do I prove my student eligibility?

If you are from Finland, you will probably have to submit all the stuff to your local reseller. This has nothing to do with the online verification for US and other customers. Check your regional S&T pages. Presumably you have to go through Sweden, because as far as I know that's where Adobe has it's support for Northern Europe. They will also give you the serial number.

  • Pre-determining student eligibility

Hope someone can help since Adobe apparently doesn't answer questions about their products until you purchase them.
My son, a college student, wants to purchase Lightroom 5 on disc, without a Cloud membership.  Cannot seem to get to that point at Adobe.com; without the membership it seems all that is available is the full-priced version.
He found what he wants online, but we apparently have to order it, open it, put in the product code and check eligibility.  Then, if for some reason he isn't eligible (Adobe won't let you see all the questions they are going to ask until you enter the product code), then he has a totally useless disc since he couldn't return it.
Has anyone found a way to PRE qualify so that you know before you open the package if you're eligible?
    Thanks!

Rgmcadoo I am sorry but most software titles available from Adobe are download only at this time.  You are welcome to burn the installation files to a DVD or copy them to an external hard drive.
If you don't have high speed Internet access available then you may want to consider utilizing a USB drive and downloading the installation files at a public library.  You can find additional details on how to download purchased software at Find a download link on Adobe.com.

  • Student Eligibility Question

I'm a little unsure about my eligibility for a student discount. I'm attending an accredited college (Or at least it should be. Cambrian College, Sudbury Ontario) and have just started my first semester of a full time two semester program. The thing I'm a little unsure about is this part of the guide:
"University or college — students enrolled at a higher education institution defined as an accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior, or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study*"
Now, I'm not enrolled in a two year course, however the college does provide more than 2 year full time studies as well as some that are one year (Two semester) full-time certificate programs like mine. (As well as three year, etc.)
Is it asking that the college just has to provide that or do I have to be in it? I'm sure I'm reading it strange, I just want to be absolutely sure!
    Thank you!
    Ayla

You are eligible. Even if you are enrolled there is no certainty of a degree. The language is to prevent professional training programs (example, a school that only provides training in Adobe or prepress software) students from obtaining the software at discount.

  • If your student eligibility is questioned, do you need to reinstall any sofrware that was already downloaded after everything is straightened out?

Had a question from Adobe about proving my student status. Cleared it up with no problem. One day went by, then I tried to start Photoshop CC and it comes up, but seconds later stops working! Maybe I'll try rebooting my computer. Any other suggestions? Do I need to uninstall then re install the program?

  • Eligibility for the student teacher edition

I'm thinking of taking a computer course with the Distance Learning Centre and want to know if I'll be eligible to buy the student teacher version of the creative suite. I'll have an NUS Extra card but don't know what documentation I'll get from the centre to prove I'm studying or whether their centre is eligible as an educational institution under Adobe rules.
