Note: You can't upgrade from one Student and Teacher Edition to another Student and Teacher Edition - You can only upgrade from one Student and Teacher Edition to a commercial version. However, this upgrade cost is often more expensive than just buying the new version at the Student and Teacher Edition discounted price of up to 80% off (assuming you meet all eligibility requirements.) I only can repeat that what I found in Adobe's help sites, as I wrote above. Creative Suite & student licence

Greetings everybody,
Please forgive my poor English, since I am French.
I am potentially interested in buying a student licence of Adobe Production Premium CS6 which is at a very interesting price.
But prior to making my purchase, I would like to be sure about two things with the student licence, and I hope you could help me.
- first, I am in my last year of studenship. I will have my degree in the end of the year. Can you confirm me that student licences for Adobe products are permanent? In other words, will I be able to use the product when I won't be a student any more? (Actually, I will be a teacher after my degree so I will be eligible for education licences but I prefer to talk only about the student licence for now)
- it is said that the user can only install the product(s) on 2 computers that he owns. I think this is quite fair, and I have a desktop and a laptop computers so it's cool for me.
But does this mean that when one of my computers will die, or if I buy a new computer to replace my laptop or my desktop computer which gets too old and slow, I won't be authorized to install the product on my new computer, even if I don't use any more the old computer(s) and have uninstalled the product from it/them?
This would be a problem for me, since my computers are quite old. Plus, I would like to be able to use the products for a long time, so with probably several changes of computers (but always installed on only one/two at the same time). If the answer is no, does this mean I will have to buy another licence when I will have to change my computer? This would look a bit absurd and I hope it's not the case and it's possible to get an arrangement with Adobe. It is often possible with big companies (Microsoft for example) in this kind of "fair" situations, is it with Adobe?

You are overthinking this. Your license will and shall forever be yours - as long as it technically possible to run the programs. The terms under which the license was initially purchased don't matter. Nobody expects S&T licenses to be used by people that study their whole life and it's perfectly normal that they will be used beyond the college or university days. Activations can be managed at any time using Help --> Activate/ Deactivate, including situations where you need to migrate to a new machine. otherwise you can always contact support to reset activations, should you forget. They do this all the time.

Only trial version on second mac with student licence

i bought the student licence and downloaded ps, ai, id and bridge on my mac. that works fine. now i tried to install on a second mac the same programms but i only get the trial version. i do not have any serial number or anything else to get the full student version on the second mac. what can i do to convert the trial version into my full student licence?

Hello, I have buy a student licence of Adobe CS4 Premium on University Shop Zone in Québec City (Québec, CA). During the activation, I had write than my course finish in 2013. It's true but I don't know if I will continue school after this date. Can I use my licence after 2013? Will Adobe delate my licence after 31st december 2013?

First of all - sorry for my English.
1. I'm student but my speciality is not connected with design etc. May I use the licence?
2. When I'll finish the university, I must buy the usual licence, or I can continue using student licenced product.

3. You can use it after your studies as long as you want to, but you will not be able to upgrade your software.

Student licence CC

Hi there,
I'd like to ask anyone about the student licence for CC. Situated in the Czech Republic, the CC for students aren't available (yet), maybe they will, maybe they won't, the Czech Support doesn't know. That's why they also do not have any information they could give me. As far as I know, for a student there are two options:
1) buy CS6 with a proof of study and you will have the program for the rest of your life (as long as the PC will cooperate with it of course), even though you will not study anymore, it will be still functional even for commercial use.
2) buy CC with a proof of study - and here is my question - do you need to proof this every year, or not?
If I'm wrong, please correct me; let's say I will study two more years. If I would buy CS6 I can use the program for the next cca 10 years without a problem with the student licence. Is this the same for CC? Or will I have to buy the full licence after the two years while not being a student then anymore?

Team Student Licence

Hi there,
I am soon going to graduate from University in the UK and I am starting a production company with two coursemates.
I was wondering whether to buy CS6 outright, and use the student version for a while... Or sign up to Creative Cloud - will this licence continue for a year whilst I'm not a student if I sign up to it when I am a student.
Also, am I right in thinking that if I sign up to Creative Cloud Team for students, then I can share it with my two coursemates and we will all have access to the full Adobe Suite? Is there a limit to the amount of people on the licence?

You do not share one license with a few classmates.
The Team plan lets you have an Administrator who handles payment for the Team. The Administrator then give out paid Seats which can be removed at any point. The person whose seat is removed reverts to a Free account. So this works well for a school who wants to give students paid access for one quarter for example. Also you get increased File Storage of 100GB versus the normal 20GB of an Individual paid account.

Hi I'm using a Student Version of labview2014. Unfortunately my licence has expired and an i still haven't finished my project which i will have to Hand in latest by middle of April. So I wanted to ask if my licence can be extended Till then. As i will only have Till next Week to use the Lab and Software at the College, an quick response would be great. So a real license never expires (for that version). If you purchased a student license, and installed it, then you should have no problem. If you are you need to contact NI and they'll resolve this.
If you are talking about the free for 6 months student license, then you are refering to the evaluation time for students. If you need LabVIEW beyond those 6 months then you should buy it. I've seen student copies for sale at different book stores at various campuses, it is on Sparkfun bundled with an Arduino, and Studica has a copy for $20.

Help! Info needed on how to qualify for Student Licence for CS4

Hi, I'm after some info which I just can't seem to find on the web! Exactly what kind of student do you need to be to qualify for a Student Edition in the UK? Do you need to be doing a degree or can you just enroll on a part time course at a local college of higher education (say an 18 week, part time course in Web Design which I am very interested in doing). I read somewhere that you had to be doing a degree of at least 2 years in length, but then somewhere else I came across someone who activated their Photoshop software by just doing a short course (in nursing - their full time occupation!). Please can anyone clarify how long/what type of course is the bare minimum in order to enable you to qualify as a student? Thanks!

Does my Student Licence serial expire?

I bought my CS5 Web Premium Student addition in 2011 and installed it on my laptop.
I now urgently need to format my laptop and was wondering:
1. Will the student serial code that was sent to me still be applicable once I deactivate the software and reinstall it? So can I use that serial code again now that I'm not a student anymore?
2. I can't remember where I placed the serial code, is there any way of retrieving it?

I am an art school student and a little confused about the difference between the "student license and the educational box".
Can "educational box" version be upgraded in the future?
Can "educational box" be used for commercial purposes?
Can student purchase this version? or only faculty and teachers can.

From student licence to individual, what to do?

Hi!
My student license will expire in 5 days. Sadly i'm no longer a student but i still want to keep using my software (at the moment i only use photoshop, illustrator and InDesign).
So first of all: what is the best option for me to buy? I'm also unemployed atm so i'm looking for the cheapest sollutions with the most options. (any job offers in Belgium are also welcome )
As far as i can tell i think the best sollution is the full creative cloud package, is that a good guess?
I tried calling the line for belgium, but the call doesn't connect.
I'd like some direct information before deciding.
