Student version of CS5

Question

I cannot set up my student version of Photoshop CS5 on my new iMac. It tells me my serial number is not valid even though I paid for the version. Can anyone help? I did have it loaded but could not print. Would always "quit unexpectedly" message when I'd go to print. So, I removed photoshop  thinking I would reload it. Now I can't reload it. I did load the trail version and still get the "quit unexpectedly" message with it also. I have an iMac running OS X 10.9.4.   Please help.

Hi,
This is the copy of what they had me do. I just tried this morning and like I thought, it does not work. I trashed it all and I’m downloading again. Will try one more time to log in before I contact them again. Just keeping you in the loop since you asked me too. Cheers, V

Tajinder: Now go to the location Mac HD\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Adobe PCD\Cache and remove the cache.DB file to your desktop .
