Studio 8 - Adobe Can't Give Me Access To Download

Hi All,
I bought Studio 8 in 2005 and lost my program discs,
computer, and (a whole bunch more) in last years floods here in
Washington state.
Adobe customer service can't (won't?) give me access to
re-download the Studio 8 package even though I have my order number
and proof of purchase. They tell me my only option is to upgrade to
CS4. I cannot afford to do that. I have bought every new DW product
since DW2 (except MX) and I'm kind of disappointed in their
attitude regarding this Macromedia customer.
Is there someone who has a downloaded TRIAL version the
Studio 8 products that you would be willing to let me have or post
up on a private URL. I should be able to punch in my serial numbers
and have my programs back I see this as my only option other than
to toss away $399 that I paid to upgrade to Studio 8.

When I go to adobe.com and select "Your Account" and login
with one
of my former Macromedia IDs, I can click on "Order History".
On that
page, I see many orders, only one of which was ordered as a
Download, but it is linked to a page with several download
links (it
was Studio MX 2004 with Flash Pro Upgrade). It is the same
page as
accessed when clicking "Your Downloads" after logging in.
If I login with one of my Adobe accounts, I only see one item
in my
Order History, but it was a boxed version. That is
surprising, since I've ordered many different individual
programs
and bundles and upgrades over the years, but...
I do not recall whether I went through any special steps back
when
Adobe took over the MM accounts/servers, but I would /think/
there
is some way for Adobe to locate your former MM download
links.
If, on the phone, you are speaking with out-sourced, phone
script
level support, you may need to try your best to escalate the
issue
up the chain. It could take a while.

    Hi srabon,
    For giving unique access for a specific file in a library, you can go to the library, and select the file , and click FILES->Shared With->ADVANCED, under PERMISSION ribbon, click ‘Stop Inheriting Permissions’, then the file will have unique permissions.
    For removing the shared users for a file, firstly, like the above steps, select the file , and click FILES->Shared With->ADVANCED , make sure the file has unique access, then select the users that you want to remove, and click Remove User Persmissions
    under PERMISSIONS ribbon.

    Where did you install Office?
    If you installed it to the Applications folder in the admin account that ie reason why only you can access it.
    If you want everyone to be able to access it then you should install it in the Applications folder at root level.

    Apple Remote Desktop is off be default. It has to be enabled for some one to be able to remotely connect to the computer. And then, you still have to have a user name and password on the computer to remotely connect with.
    If you want to see if remote access has is enabled for Apple Remote Desktop; you can find the setting in, Apple Menu, System Prefrences, Sharing. If it's enabled, Remote Management or Screen Sharing will be checked.
    Beucase Apple Remote Desktop Agent is part of the Mac Operating System; even if your not using it, Apple Software Updates will from time to time offer updates for ARD Agent. Software Updates can some times be stacked ontop of each other; so chosing not to install an update, can mean other updates you may want may not be offered. At least until you install the updates those updates require. Also software updates can improve the security of your computer.

    As Justin already said there is no separate right to simple GRANT TRUNCATE ON TABLE to user.
    From the docs: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/statements_10006.htm#sthref9966
    To truncate a table or cluster, the table or cluster must be in your schema or you must have DROP ANY TABLE system privilege.
    So the best way would be to encapsulate this login in a packaged procedure as described by Justin.

    I wonder why when it would be a downgrade form the version 4.7 my subscription give me access to. There does not seem to any training that uses 4.7 I was lucky enough to find some that uses 4.6 and it covers things about the design view. I thinking since a lot of the material to learn it is kind-a-outdated (and still referrers a lot to design view) that it would be good to learn it with access to design view. This way I will understand what they mean and can distinguish between features. Thanks

    Two options: 1. In configuration manager on the AW, use the user list tool to add the users domain account and select Webview access permissions. 2. Using standard Microsoft Active Directory tools or the Cisco Domain Manager tool, add the desired AD user account into one of the "WebView" security groups created within the Cisco OU.

    If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
    Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.
