Studio creator loads itself upside down

Hello,
I'm new to studio creator, and I'm having a little trouble. When I launch studio creator, it appears upside down. By upside down, I mean it is visually entirely upside down, with even the letters in the edit window are upside down.
This makes development a little awkward. Does anyone know the solution to this problem?

The App Store is scanning the Mac and finding purchased apps in the Applications folder. It then checks against the list and finds that they are old versions and prompts for an update.
All that is required to install an app is a Apple ID and admin rights on the target mac. The apps she is installing are wrapped in DRM which identify her as the owner, but the App Store doesn't care, as she is entitled to install them on your Mac. But it reads her ID from the wrapper and thus prompts for her password to do the update.
I'd personally suggest that just one of you has admin rights and does all the purchasing off the App Store. You could remove all her apps from the mac, but you'd then need to purchase them again to consolidate them into your ID.
Or you could just get her to do the updates!

Studio Creator Drop down binding Issuse

I want to bind to selected value of drop down , whic is like that

all class have getter and setter , this is not woking and also give an compilation error as , my IDE studio creator
but this type of binding is working properly if this is like that

If you are receiving a compilation error, is this not a Java compile time issue rather than a Creator component binding issue, especially as it seems that
AssignAffiliateSupplier.affiliateSupplier.paymentDueDate
works properly?
Why not create separate attribute, "Payment", under "AssignAffiliateSupplier"?
Just some coding suggestions, without knowing anything more about project architecture.

I made an iMovie video and loaded it to my Mobileme gallery, so why is my video replaying upside down?

FF 4. It seems to play my video properly the first time but on replay it's upside down. Tried deleting the cache and relaunching FF. No difference.

I'm sorry that you cannot get any response from Facebook. I do not use Facebook that often, and couldn't tell you if any functionality has been removed from the latest update. You can always try deleting the app from your phone and installing it again and see if this changes the way it operates.
Possibly someone else that uses Facebook more often can tell you if they have experienced similar behavior. Good luck.

Studio Creator deployment time

I have been using both Netbeans 5 and Studio Creator 2. When running a web app from Netbeans it starts up very quickly. When I create a web app in JSC, it takes quite a bit longer to deploy (...stopping...starting... messages etc. for a while). This is a bit frustrating for iterative development.
Any chance of improving the deploy time for the next release. Better still, is there a way I can configure the current system to load web apps faster when I hit "run".

Hi Fred,
I'll tell you the way you can reduce deployment time down to your 1..2 seconds:
1. Go to 'Projects' pane, select your one, right click and Properties.
2. In Project properties window go to Libraries, deselect the ones that have been added to your project. For instance I use Oracle JDBC driver and an appropriate JAR files together with checkbox have been added to project.
3. Also deselect 'Build Required Projects' checkbox at the bottom.
4. Go to bundled with JSC2 Sun Application Server 8.x and add these JAR files to lib\ext directory (e.g. C:\Sun\Creator2_1\SunAppServer8\domains\creator\lib\ext).
5. Go back and try to redeploy. You got your 1..2 sec
P.S. Which PC do you use by the way? I have pretty powerful one with RAID and got 2..3 sec only.

Why my iPhone 5S taking pictures upside down?

I have iOS 8.1 installed in my iPhone. While taking the picture sometimes it displays the camera screen in upside down direction and pictures taken also in upside down direction but sometimes it works fine.
Also I have encountered that while taking first picture flash sound doesn't come out (Ensured that iPhone is not on silent mode), for the rest of the pictures, it works fine. Could anyone please help me in this.

Have you tried soft reseting it. Holding the power and home screen buttons. For about 10 seconds. If not the next thing I would do is reset all settings.: Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings. If that still does not work. Restoring to factory with iTunes and not loading a backup. Would be the next testing step. If still does not work. Then it would be something apple would need to fix for you. (1-800-MY-APPLE)

Edit in Photoshop opens images upside down

I'm using Lightroom 2.0 and PhotoShop CS3.
I'm on an Intel Mac running Leopard, with Lightroom 2.0 and Photoshop 10.0.1
I have a problem with opening images in Photoshop from Lightroom where those images were taken on a particular camera - a Fuji FinePix 9500.
Choosing Edit in Photoshop CS3 from the Lightroom Library module opens these images upside down.
Choosing Open as smart object in Photoshop also opens these images upside down.
The images are DNG files but trying the same action with the original RAW files displays the same problem.
Opening the same files directly into Photoshop CS3 displays the images correctly.
Opening the same files from Bridge CS3 displays the images correctly
Opening the same files from Lightroom version 1 displayed the images correctly.
Opening files from an older Fuji FinePix 4900 open correctly in Photoshop.
In Lightroom itself, the thumbnails, loupe views and slideshow images are all oriented correctly.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Probably the same bug that opens my D70 images rotated 90 degrees. No problems with my other cameras, only the D70. Adobe know about it, but it would be worth logging your bug on their report form:-

More localization woes - upside down question marks.

With some effort, I am able to load variable values from the database based on the language the user has selected, and display those variable values in my column headings and the like (see thread How are session variables used for localization? for that process).
However I can only display ASCII values!!
I can load my translations with the strings "(ENGLISH)" and "(JAPANESE)", and based on whether the user selected English or Japanese, my column headings will in fact show the strings "(ENGLISH)" and "(JAPANESE)".

Except, when I load my database with what Japanese text, all I get in the UI is upside-down question marks.
I'm using a tool to load this Japanese text into the DB written by someone else who swears(! ) this tool writes data into the DB in a format that is known to have worked for OBIEE Localization. On inspection I find this Japanese is in Unicode.
I have written a Java app that reads the Japanese text back from the DB. When I inspect the String contents in the debugger, the data returned from the ResultSet does look like the Unicode data in the original text file. So the data looks good (?) in the DB.
In the debugger, the character values in the String equate to these hex values:
0x30B5
0x30FC
0x30D3
(8 characters worth, 16 bytes).
But now how do I turn these 0x30B5 Unicode characters into Japanese in the OBIEE UI?
I am testing this in OBIEE with Japanese (Nihongo) selected. Most of OBIEE switches to Japanese just fine. It's not a local display issue. But my variables with Unicode values display as nothing but upside-down question marks. D'oh!!

Opening .pdf stored in oracle in studio creator

I used iText libraies to open stored (as Blob or Clob type data) .pdf in oracle 10g release 2 database in studio creator.
I'm using thin client driver...in oracle
All things (uploading and retrieving ) works fine with the built in database..(point base)
But when it comes to connect with oracle and for both retreieving and uploading the stored pdf,it is not working....
Please help me regarding this matter

Can you answer a few questions, to help track this down:
What happens when you try to retrieve or upload a .pdf using Oracle?
Can you store/retrieve .pdf files from the Oracle DB with a standalong application? That would tell you whether the problem lies with Creator, or Oracle.
Finally, which JDBC driver are you using? Java Studio Creator bundles some Sun-branded drivers, which are supported. It sounds like you may be using the Oracle driver, which is not as compliant with the JDBC spec.

Background and buttons upside down and mirrored

so i am starting with the basic and minimum project : menus with a simple backgroung ( jpg image) and a single button that bring to the next menu. but…
If i don't put any text or single letter in the button, it works normaly
if i put just a letter in the button, the result is an upside-down image and button.

Welcome to the forums
One thing to check is your video card, some video cards produced upside down/reversed images or menus, though I do not recall seeing that happen (did not see what computer you have or video card)
Just took a quick look and did not see a reverse setting or mirror for text

Imported images upside down and blurred Lightroom 1.4

Hiya everyone. First post on here so I hope I am putting this in the right place but hope you can help me. I have had a trawl through the archives but havent seen a fix for this problem.
When I try to import images direct from my camera (Canon EOS 30D)into Lightroom, they have started to be displayed on the IMPORT page upside down and very poor quality. If I go ahead with the import they are displayed in LR proper in the correct orientation and clear quality.
I have done a system restore back to a few days ago when it was working ok, and have tried uninstall and then reinstall. I have also taken my camera back to its default settings in case that is the cause, but nothing has worked.
I am using the following -
Lightroom 1.4
Dell Studio 1535 laptop
Windows Vista
Intel Core Duo @2GHz
4GB Ram
Hope you can help as I am wary of putting all my photos on LR now in case it fails - I am using Picasa as a storage instead.

Are you going straight from the camera? Take my advice - don't. Use a card reader instead.

Vertical text in charts appears upside-down in Acrobat pdf

When I copy a chart with vertical text from Tableau into Word and then Save as Adobe PDF, the vertical text appears upside-down.
When I copy a chart with vertical text from Tableau into Word and then Save as PDF using Word's built in PDF creator, the vertical text appears correctly.
This bug occurs in both Adobe Acrobat 11 and Acrobat Pro DC. Can Adobe fix this bug?

Never mind. I solved the problem myself. It turns out I needed to embed the font I used in the text boxes. Once I did that, everything shows up fine.

Duplex Printing - Page 2 upside down

I can duplex print, but the even number pages (second side printed) are upside down. Also, my properties tab options do not match the manual's description, so I'm not sure if I'm setting it up properly

I would like to help you with this issue of page 2 printing upside down. Make sure that your Firmware is up to date.
Then follow these steps in the User Guide on duplex printing.
Print on both sides (duplexing)
You can print on both sides of a sheet of media automatically by using the HP
Automatic Two-sided Printing Accessory (duplexer).
NOTE: Two-sided printing requires an HP Automatic Two-sided Printing
Accessory (duplexer) to be installed on the printer.
TIP: You can perform manual duplexing by first printing only the odd pages,
flipping the pages over, and then printing only the even pages.
Perform two-sided printing (Windows)
1. Load the appropriate media. For more information, see Guidelines for printing on
both sides of a page and Load media.
2. Make sure the duplexer is installed correctly. For more information, see Install the
duplexer.
3. With a document open, click Print on the File menu, and then under the Print on
Both Sides options on the Layout tab, select either Flip on Long Edge or Flip on
Short Edge.
4. Change any other settings, and then click OK.
5. Print your document.
Depending on which flip you choose will determine how it prints on page 2.

now i want the ,, i need to change the extension of the page , so i want to replace it from .jsp to .abc for example , and i want to remove the /faces prefix for each page....
