Study abroad subscription options

Hi,
I am studying abroad in France for the semester and would like to make calls to the US. I have a couple of questions regarding the best option(s) and charges. I am looking into buying an unlimited subscription to the US and I am planning on buying a new cell phone when I get to France.
1. If I call someones cell phone via my computer, will they be charged an international fee?
2. Can I set up call forwarding to my phone so that I use my subscription?
3. If I have a basic cell phone, can I use skype on that phone to call another cell phone in the US? If so, is there a way to do it without either person incurring international charges?

1. Skype doesn't charge call receiver, this is something your friend can check with their mobile service provider.
2. If you forward call to your mobile and subscription covers your mobile number then it will work. For example if you get a prepaid card in France, forward calls to your France number then you need a subscription that covers France mobile numbers: http://www.skype.com/go/subscriptions
3. Currently Skype doesn't have Skype To Go number for France, this means that unfortunately it is not possible to use regular cell phone through Skype.
For example your friend in US can set up Skype To Go number that they would call from regular mobile phone and have your France number as their contact.

Studying abroad in London for 4 months - international plan

I'm going to be studying abroad in the UK for 4 months starting in January. I want to be able to use my iPhone while I'm abroad, in the most cost-efficient way possible. I've looked at the AT&T World Traveler Plan that is $5.99 per month, and 99 cents per minute. 99 cents per minute seems ridiculous! Is that plan in addition to the basic U.S. iPhone plan that I have now or does it take the place of my current plan?
I've read stories here on the discussions about people getting a $1,000+ wireless bill for their overseas usage, and I want to avoid that.
What about the option to unlock the iPhone from AT&T and use a SIM card from a wireless carrier in the UK? I asked today said this is not possible because of the exclusive agreement between AT&T and Apple. What's the deal with this?

Well within the next six months I will be in Greece studying abroad and I want to change the display of my computer to Greek. There is no option for it in the languages so I'm not sure where to go from here to change the display and fonts.

Nevermind, you can just ignore this I figured it out. Did not realize the international button near the volume to change the setting.

Add Data driven subscription option missing in sharepoint 2013

i have a sharepoint 2013 enterprise version with sql server 2012 standard version. And i want to add Data- driven subscriptions for a document library by selecting manage subscriptions. But in the manage subscriptions Add Data- Driven subscription option
is missing. How can i get the options. is ther any workaround if i am using standard version.

According to your description, you want to use data driven report subscription feature with SQL Server 2012 Standard.
In Reporting Services 2012, only SQL Server 2012 Enterprise and Business Intelligence edition support the data driven feature. So it’s expected that the Add Data- Driven subscription option is missing in your environment. In your scenario, if you want to
use data driven subscription feature, please perform edition upgrade.

Adobe is preparing a Team Ready offering which will be exactly this. You can currently purchase a TLP volume license to Master Collection CS6 with the ability to transition to Team Ready once available (later in 2012).

Hello. Does anyone know if its possible to create an on-page button that brings up the blue iOS subscription options for users to directly subscribe (ie: as in the library!)...
I haven't seen it done anywhere else but it should be possible?

Student Discount valid for students studying abroad?

I am a Canadian student who just graduated high school, and will be pursuing my post secondary school studies abroad in England. I want to buy a macbook air before going to uni and have found that it is cheaper to buy one here in Canada using the student discount rather than in England. That, coupled with the fact that I will be coming back regularly, and then back for good after 5 years, I was wondering whether I am able to make use of the Apple Student Discount here in Canada for my macbook air purchase? I have a lot of friends here, that will be attending canadian universities, so i'm also wondering whether, if I am personally not able too, whether I could take advantage of their discount?

You can use your student discount even if you're studying abroad since Apple also offers student discount in the UK.
If you want to use your friend's student discount, they have to buy the Macbook Air for you. That might be a little on the tricky side if you need to get your Macbook serviced in the UK and the receipt, if they asked for it, is not under your name.
To be safe, you better purchase it yourself.

Yes, well, ummm, we have ALL grown to love the support area of many companies. The company that catapulted me to unemployment was known at one point for having decent support. But well, let's just say that the company didn't want to spend the money it takes to do that properly.Their view of Support was always equated to $$$. Humans were reduced to simple "Heads" or "Seats". All they cared about was how much more quickly they could get callers off the call. How can we reduce head count. How can we reduce the number of seats that are required.
Heck, even when done properly it's really luck of the draw. One call may result in connecting with someone that totally solves all your issues in short order while the next connects you with someone that just wants a paycheck. They view the job as simply a means to subsist and really don't care much more than what it takes to keep them out of trouble.
I'm not sure what is up with Sales. It certainly sounds as if they are badly misinformed. At least on this issue.

Studying Abroad.

I am studying abroad in England next semester. I have an iPhone 5 and I was wondering if I could suspend my Verizon plan and then put my US number on an old phone. Take my iPhone 5 to England and use one of their services their by using the sim card. Is my Verizon iPhone 5 capable of doing that/can I do that?

I believe the iPhone 5 is factory unlocked so you can use a local SIM card in the phone while in England.

I am currently studying abroad in Italy and my imessage has been working with wifi up until now. I just wen to PAris for the weekend and when I came back it says that Imessage is waiting for activation. How do I fix this? Thanks!

If iMessage has become deactivated on your iPhone, which, apparently it has, the phone will need to send an SMS to activate it again. Therefore, you'll need a cellular connection.

How to find Indonesia subscription options??

I've been trying to connect to the Indonesia subscription options page all evening and it won't load. It just keeps saying "connecting" and never loads. Does this mean the skype serve is not offering calling subscriptions to Indonesia?

Subscription option gone for Intune with 8.1 Enterprise OS

We suddenly see that the option to purchase the Intune Subscription with Windows 8.1 Enterprise OS included is no more available.
Is there any information if there's a new way to purchase this combination of services and why is this license not available anymore?

That subscription option has been retired. If you have that subscription currently you can continue to renew the subscription, but you cannot add more licenses.

Bring Back the Annual Subscription Option

When I started using Spotify I could choose between annual and monthly Subscription. At the time monthly suited my life best.
But now, when I really need to utilize the annual subscription payment model, it is nowhere to be found ( alot of the community posts show a difference between the countries, and some people need to cancel the subscription , and then re-subscribe to get it)
I say Bring Back the Annual Subscription Option!
It used to be easy to just change your current subscription to annual instead, ensuring that you could listen to spotify no matter your current money situation (say if you were going volunteering somewhere and didn't have a steady income, the annual subscription allows you to do both!)
I know there are eCards and all - but this mostly only covers Americans\people who have American credit\debit cards.
What about the rest of the world? Why make it so difficult to take my money?

Please, I would like to know if anyone already to use the iTunes Subscription option in Viewer Builder to produce the app. Well, my doubt is if I can filter the readers that enroll to subscription.

Yeah, created different subscription in-app purchases within the same family.
For non-consumables I used the same product ID for the published folio and in-app purchase. These were marked as FREE and Public at the time of submitting the in-app purchase, because I understood the in-app purchases would need to be approved before republishing those folios as PAID and public.

No 'CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION' option in settings... how...

I am trying to cancel monthly subscriptions, but in the setting tab there is no 'cancel subscription' option as per the inscructionals. how do i cancel the subscriptions. it only has an option to change payment detaisl, but when i click opn this there is still no cancel option...

I am having the exact problem...it is very much an unclear procedure, and I wish to unsubscribe.
