All,
Can anyone help me in finding the study material for IZO:146. Its a new paper added by the Oracle University for the PL/SQL developers. Completion od this paper will give the OCP credentials in Developer track.
But since its a new paper, I am unable to find the exact study material for it.

Books/reading material for 1Z0-146

Hi,
Can anyone guide me regd books/reading material for exam 1Z0-146 (Oracle Database 11g: Advanced PL/SQL).
If anyone has given this exam, please help with details.

I wish Oracle or it's approved prep vendor (Self Test) would make a legitimate alternative available. Without a legitimate alternative - Oracle Press and/or Self Test - honest test takers have a harder time passing. It's logical to assume that cheaters would comprise a higher percentage of all passers of this test than they do in tests with legitimate prep material.
Oracle does have a course with a manual for 1z0-146. However, the course has yet to actually be offered anywhere, live or virtual, as I have checked. I don't know if Oracle would make available in some way the manual for us to study from. I still think Oracle should produce an Oracle Press book as well as pressure or subsidize Self Test Software to make a prep exam.

Plz its very urgent....The nature of your posts impllies already have a 9i DBA OCP. Then I hope you realise it is very difficult for me to see how you would not realise any link or material you are sent is :-
1) A link to material in breach of copyright ...
2) Material in breach of copyright
3) unauthorized learning material.
4) Relatively limited or useless.
About the only useful link you could be sent is ones into the Oracle Website or authorized training material. But you should, as a DBA, know these already!
Overall .... there is a high chance of an NDA breach with any answers to post ... with possible subsequent loss of existing certification.
- There is a Sybex book ... ISBN-13: 978-0782143553 or equivalent ... that may be helpful ... but the exam topics may have been updated since.

Which means probably no bookseller will sent it internationally to you.
(Nigeria seems unfortunately to have gained a bad fraud reputation from a few individuals, though I have worked with Nigerians who have been pleasure to work with).
You live in the country so you may have the best contacts for determine how to obtain books there. Or you could ask someone to bring it in from abroad.

Thanks.As you probably noticed the authorized exam provider (Kaplan IT trading as Transcender and SelfTestSoftware) do not currently appear to provide a test for 1z0-146
Most, if not all, practice exams you will see by searching on the web are unauthorised training material:

Certguard will show that these are typically braindump websites [http://www.certguard.com] .... really you should only consider sites that are guarenteed non braindump.
There are a few sample questions (10) with the exam topics (I call these the beta exam rejects).
Basically you are your own with this. But at east by the time you are taking 1z0-146 you will have taken and passed 2 certiifcation exams at least anyway.

AJ.To state the obvious the answers are in the oracle documentation on OTN, which will also contain other things.
Have a search round blogs.oracle.com and www.oracle.com/oll as well.
