Why doesn't my App Store work? I keep getting a "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" I am already connected and searching for apps what's going on?

Great, so now I have to airplay it by linking my computer to my Apple TV and then the movie has to buffer! So, all that time I spent downloading the HD video has to technically "download" again by buffering. The more I use Apple TV, the more I feel like this item was not created by Apple. I don't even use it for what I originally purchased it for. If I would have known that anytime I wanted to sync a movie from my computer to Apple TV by using airplay that it would have to buffer the movie, I would have never ever ever ever ever purchased this waste of time device. So the video has to technically play all the way through one time first so Apple TV can "remember" the movie to play it back in real time afterwards.
Am I missing something here? Am I doing something wrong that can be fixing my problem? I should have known that the Apple TV had so many things backwards when simple things like when you are using the remote and you reach the bottom of your list, in order to cycle back to the top of your list you have then press the directional buton back the other way rather than most modern day devices that will automatically cycle you back to the top or to the other side when you reached the bottom or end but keep on pressing the button. That **** annoys me when I am doing a search for a movie and have to type the name in manually and have to cycle back and forth to the letters. It makes me feel like I am using a rotary phone or something!

I was told by someone to try and purchase something directly from my Apple TV and that will help authorize my Apple TV. So I picked something that was free and it downloaded.
Then I went back to the Movie that would not work and it played just fine.
So it seemed to work. I will have to try it on other movies and TV shows later.

I agree completely; email applications on the Mac lag (and I agree with the OP's frustration with responses as well).
I also have settled on Mail with Mail ActOn and MailTags; this functionality should be incorporated into the OS. I actually like using Outlook in Win 7 better; it's super easy to connect files, contacts, email and other stuff right from one application. And Win 7 has better preview and tagging built in, better than QuickLook. On the server side we desparately need gmail to use tags, but I don't see that happening. I still prefer the labeling scheme it has over Apple's mail, however. But I also find that it confuses many users (labels vs folders).
There are also other applications that integrate email functionality, like SOHO Organizer, or Contactizer. Good, but not the email holy grail.
I'd like to see communications built into the Finder or system, which badly needs an overhaul. It hasn't changed much since the 90's and shows it. Communication, whether it be email, tweets, social media posts, sharing, etc, is such an integral function of all work you do on a computer it should be better, um, integrated into all applications. You should be able to send data from any application to others in a variety of formats without having to go into an email application. Sure, you can now do this to a certain extent with either built-in menu items or services, but it's clunky. For example, when you write something you can either "save" and write to disk somewhere, or "export" in a different format, or maybe "email." All of those choices should at least be part of one dialog; it's just as likely you want to email, post, share or tweet what you just wrote, so just having a "save" dialog is way outmoded.
So, yeah, somebody get on this.

if you mean home sharing then
home sharing is not set on the appletv but on the itunes program on the computer which lib one wish to share
the home share password need not be the appleID password as homeshare is also meant to share your media with others on your LAN network whom you may not wish to know your appleID password
so home sharing password is set seperately in ituens on your computer

I had an iPhone 4 and I broke the screen, I took it into the store and they said they would repair it for me. They rang me a few days later and said it was beyond repair, and that they were going to replace it?. I picked up my new phone which had all the protective plastic on but no box, just the phone. I plugged it into iTunes and put my Vodafone micro-sim in and it says 'The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.' . Now I thought it may be my sim so i tried my mums, same problem so i'm thinking they've give me an iPhone 4 locked to a different network?.
What can I do as I am off on holiday tomorrow to Florida and I really needed my phone?...

If the Apple store/shop has not closed - not sure about the time difference there, you should return to the store/shop in a hurry.

Two apple Ids syncing with one computer

I am trying to get all the music I have purchased within the last 2 years, all $400 worth of it between two apple accounts, Unfortunatley stupid apple wont let me authorize two apple ids to my one computer....so how the **** can I get access to my content that I PAID FOR!?!?! I have to back up every single one of my songs because they are going to be removed from my ipod when I update it. Why the **** does apple do this? How the **** do I go about this ridiculous situation!?!?!

You can authorize one computer for more that one account.. To do some thing you will have to sign out of one account in iTunes>Store>Signin/SIgn-SIgn out

How can I get my Apple TV 3 to see me iTunes library again?

I have the following setup: my main computer (Windows 8) is connected via LAN to the router (it has no wireless adapter), and all other devices are wireless (that's three iPhones, an iPad, an Apple TV 3 and a Macbook Pro (Latest Mountain Lion)).
Everything was working fine until last week; the only thing that I can think of that changed is that I updated iTunes everywhere.
Now none of my devices will admit to seeing my main iTunes library (the iPhones and iPad in Remote, the Apple TV in Computers, the Mac in iTunes).
What gives? I've tried everything: signing in and out (and in and out and in and out) of Home Sharing (everywhere); changing Apple IDs everywhere; rebooting the router; rebooting everything else (including unplugging from power); yelling my lungs off at the stupid Apple TV for its "iTunes libraries... will appear here" for no good reason really.
Help!
(Obviously what I really care about is the ATV3 recognizing my main iTunes library's existence...)

First thing I would do is restart your network router and computer. If that does not resolve the issue it sounds like you may have to uninstall iTunes and its associated softwares with this article:

If you don't have a rescue email address, or don't have access to your current one, then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been resetyou can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to update/add a rescue email address for potential future use

Update Apple Id Payment Info - Why is it so hard to give this company my money?

Here's my issue. It's kind of a "perfect storm" of situations. I am very annoyed, and my phone & ipad are slowly bricking.
1 - My windows machine (previously used itunes here) can no longer connect to the internet. I won't go into why, but lets just say it's gonna be like this a while.
2 - No biggie, I'm a nerd and I also have a Linux handy. I'm using that as my daily machine, quite happily. But you can't install itunes on Linux, which is one of these stupid Apple decisions. (Yes I tried Wine, with no luck.) Sometimes I love Apple, but when it comes to iTunes I think Apple really blew it.
3 - The paypal account attached to my itunes account had to be closed. (In order to make another paypal account work...PayPal is also stupid.) Who cares, I was only using it for iTunes, and I can easily update that...right?
4 - I can't update on iTunes on a computer because as mentioned in 1 & 2, I have no iTunes on a computer.
5 - No biggie, I'll update it online. No, wait, apple doesn't allow that. I don't know why.
6 - No biggie, I'll update it from my iPhone or iPad. Nope. Can't do that either. If I try, I get an error that says " Paypal is not supported on this device. To manage or change your payment method, go to the iTunes Store on your computer." and below that in red "There's a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please update your payment method."
7 - So now I decide to contact support. My first reply was simply a link to online instructions, which was annoying. But after explaining more, he tells me he cannot help and I should use a friend's computer. WHAT??? ***.
So now I can't upgrade any apps (even though that wouldn't require a payment), some apps have stopped working because they require an upgrade. And now I can't even download FREE apps from the iTunes store. This is starting to limit the usefulness of my devices.
I am really really disappointed. Can anyone help me figure this out? Yes, I will see if I can use a friend, but that is a terrible answer.
Who can we send this issue to in order to see this sphaghetti architecture change?

To use Google is just lame. What can you search in a sea of "bests"? AppShopper, well, first, you don't let your paying customers leave your store to find out what to buy. Second, not sure it is in anyway better. Seems like a cheap and brainless copy of what Apple has.
Maybe there is something to this "power search". Except I have no clue what that is. Can't find it in Apple Store. Now that is not a good way to attract buyers.

Apple id has been disabled

I am new to apple. I have an iphone 4s and a MacbookPro. One day I was checking my credit card statement. I noticed two unauthorized charges to my
credit card made to iTune stores for music puchases. as far as I remember, I personally never did any purchase from iTune stores except for a basic game
which was .99 cents. I contacted my credit card company and they gave me credit for those two unauthorized charges. I have not been able to do any update
or download any free software from Apple Appstore. I did the express lane. they sent me an email saying that they are working my issue and currently they
are unable to enable my account due to some glitches on apple server which doesn't make sense to me. Now, it's been almost a week that I can not do any upate or download anything due to this stupid apple id problem and nobody seems to be able to help me. If I had a choice or better yet if I could, I would take both of these piece craps back to them and get my money back. but I know it is not possible. So now I am here wasted almost $2000 dollars of my hard earned money on two pieces of junks and nobody seems to help me, not even apple's own support tech support. So if anybody out there who has an idea on how to
solve this issue, please step forward and tell me how I can get back to use my iphone or macbookpro. Thanks.

I do understand that I am not speaking to apple. I already tried to talk to them through email and nothing has been done for a week. That's why I came here hoping that someone among apple users can help. Yes I can use my iphone and macbookpro, but there are some software update that I can not do. Later on today, I finally got hold of
some one at apple store in my area and finally after hours of talking back and forth, they were able to correct the
problem. The Iphone and Macbookpro belongs to my wife. To be honest with you,I personally would not buy any apple product which is so tightly controlled by bunch of control freaks at apple. I paid for my devices and I have to be able to do anythingt hat I want with them.

Frozen Apple Logo

I just got my hands on my roommate ipod with hopes to fix it.
well.. the issue:
so It turns on, the apple logo appears (no backlight) and it stays there. I have some clicks going on and it still sits there. It sits frozen in the logo screen for hours, nothing happens.
I put it in disk mode and connected it to a pc. It works. the ipod comes up with all the music, and it even plays too. Everything functioning normal right? no.
So I tried restarting from disk mode and nothing happened but the stupid apple logo again.
After that i decided to put it back into disk mode and connect it to itunes.
I restored the ipod with the original factory settings, and it worked.. or did it?
I got the apple logo to appear with the loading bar at the bottom, as if it would reset. NO
it didn't reset, instead just sat there with the stupid logo again and didn't actually start up.
I've tried each step individually. it cant get passed that stupid logo. I don't think its the hard drive, its spinning/reading and playing music.
Keep in mind I connected it and restored it once with a pc then with a mac, and nothing happened differently.
It might be software issues?

Hi, I had the same issue with mine. I got it back into the menu after trying to make one partition in Disk Utility but the iPod won't sync and freezes up Disk Utility and iTunes. I tried to format the iPod but that won't work. I get the message that the disk cannot be deactivated in Disk Utility. Anyone?

Apple wireless update *****

I tried to wirelessly update mt Ipod touch 4g and it took a hour then it goes to DFU mode and sayes it needs to be recovered. Now i have to Redownload IOS 6 And it going to be anouther hour. stupid apple make sure things work before you tell people it does.

Stupid security question answers.

I have read the "Rescue email and reset Apple ID security questions" article so many times and also added new rescue emails to my account, but I still can't change the security question answers. I have money on my account that just sits there. I have tried a few months ago and since then i still can't do anything but download free stuff. I have recieved no email about reseting anything and would like to get a better answer then the stupid apple one.

A rescue email address is not the same thing as an alternate email address - they are different settings/addresses, and a rescue email address can only be added by answering 2 of your security questions.
