Stupido! - two copies of Studio 2 but used same discs for both installs!
Yes, I truly own two copies of Final Cut Studio 2 and yes, I truly used only one serial number/disks for both installs. Of course, only one will run. But when I tried to delete one version in order to install the 2nd set, the original serial number is still there. How can I completely delete one install and begin all over again - or, how to I change the serial number to the correct one.

You can use the same Apple ID for both phones, you would then be able to use the purchased Apps/Content on both phones without having to pay again.

Yes. You can share the same ID for iTunes and create separate iCloud accounts with separate IDs. If fact, that't the recommended approach for families.
You should also use separate IDs for iMessage and FaceTime to avoid getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls. Just use the same IDs you use for your iCloud accounts. If you're sharing the same ID now for these services, one of you should go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a separate ID. Then do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime. -
Can I open a second iTunes account for my child, but use my email for both accounts?

I have a iPad and iPhone with the same Apple ID, but on Game Center I have used the same id for both devices and they are two different profiles and I was wondering how to have one of the accounts on both devices.

If you are using the same Apple ID on both devices, the Game Center profile should be the same.
Check out this information from the iPad User Guide. Try signing out of the Game Center on both devices and then sign back in with the correct Apple ID:

Yesterday I purchased a few albums and CDs from iTunes to my iTouch. After charging my iTouch, I noticed some of the songs weren't there. So I checked my iTunes and they were still downloading so I synced them up to each other. For the 1st hour, there was only one copy of the song. Later on, when I hooked up my iTouch to see if my info corresponded to iTunes, I saw that there was additional copies of the same song on a few albums and some copies of individual songs. I didn't purchase them twice either. Now I have two copies on my iTouch but not my iTunes so I can't delete the additional copy.
Right now, I tried deleting all of the music and resyncing it from my iTunes directly to my iTouch. Hopefully this will solve the problem.

I have two Apple TV's one in my living room and one in our bedroom. I purchased a movie series on the tv in the living room but was not able to open on the tv in the bedroom. I am using the same account for both Apple TV's. Can anyone assist?

For the avoidance of doubt, are you able to play the TV show on the Apple TV on which you bought it and it is a TV show and not a movie is it.

not able to open mail from my mac, gmail repeatedly asking for password. but using same password able to open gmail on safari
okay well they got me to take out some .plist files to see if that would help it didn't. I'm not sure what ones that they deleted for my self maybe someone here would be abel to tell you what ones to take out but didn't work the one that came close to working was this going into keychain and deleting the account(s) then reading them again.
if you are to do this please back up first with Time Machine. You can do this with a usb drive.
Okay so go back to where you had internet accounts and make sure mail is shut. click the - on the account your having problems with then quit system preferences.
Okay so then press cmd and space bar at the same time then type 'keychain access' into the search then click on 'keychain access'
once it is open go to the top of the window and put your email address that you are having problems with.
once you have put in your full email, have a look at what comes up i deleted things in the kind colome with 'internet password' and anything with under name that had smtp.gmail.com or imap.gmail.com so it would look like this, map.gmail.com - internet password.
right click and delete them. make sure not to touch any other files that dont say them things on them.
Once you have done this quit keychain access and then restart the computer, once the computer is restarted go back to system preferences and internet accounts and re-add the account.

I have FaceTime on my Macbook Pro but want to add it to my Mac Pro v. 10.6.8. Since I've previously purchased it in the app store, it won't allow me to purchase it again. Can I use the same app for both of my computers? If so, how do I access the app to download it?

To get it on your Mac Pro just copy the aplication from the aplication folder on your MacBook. You can do this via a thumb drive or over a local network connection. -
How do you change apple id for icloud if phone is already set up. Need to give each phone in my account their own apple id for icloud so that we dont receive each others messages but can still all use same id for purchases.
Settings-icloud-scroll to the bottom, select delete, if you want to keep the content select keep, otherwise it'll remove it. Then once it is done add the account information for the account you want on that phone. Your apple ID in settings-store will remain the same and each device can still purchase/use content from that account.

FR Studio: Use same variable for 2 grids

Im wondering if it is possible to do this in FRStudio.
I have 2 grids in one report. Both grids come from a different datasource
ie:2 different cubes.
I want to use the same prompt selection (use the same data) for both grids but without having 2 seperate prompts selections.
I can merge prompts on 2 grids coming from the same datasource but it seems I cant when they are from 2 different datasources. Is there anyway around this?

Just try if this works for you.
Set the prompt for Year in the page for Grid1. Instead of creating a new grid 2, insert the grid1 which has been saved. Now do all the modifications without touching the prompt in the page of Grid2. Now see if it gives only one prompt to respond.

When I down load books, can I read them on my iPad and iPhone? I went to open a book on my phone but I got a message that aid something about the bill already associated with an appleid. I use the same id for both devices.
All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.
