Stuttering, Popping and Skipping my life away with iTunes 7

I know we have hashed this problem out in several threads...but Apple needs to listen and fix something!
Since installing iTunes 7 on my machine (Athlon FX-55 with 1 GB of RAM and SB Audigy II) I have had nothing but problems playing music in iTunes!
I have tried chaning settins in Quicktime (Sound).
I have tried checking for plugins (I have none)
I have tried changing the hardware acceleration.
I have tried changing the volume in Windows settins and in iTunes.
Nothing works. It seems that as soon as I engage any other program the song that is playing starts to play garbled, skipping etc.
HELP HELP HELP!

Same...i cant run any other sound producing program without my iTunes garbling and/or skipping the music...
This was not a problem in previous additions.

Restore the device from the backup created.
If no backup exists, there is nothing to recover.

Normally, if the songs showed that it is purchased then it is probably already in your library. If not check out the article below to walk you through downloading your past purchases. You may also want to check to see if you have Automatic Downloads turned on so that way next time you can get your tracks without having to plug in and sync.

Can you clarify your problem? Are you having trouble restoring your new iPhone from a previous phone's backup? Or are you having trouble logging into iMessage?

Unpower it. If it still happens on a restart give it time - Apple's servers sometimes have glitches.

As a test, shut down (power off) your computer and disconnect all USB devices including hub (except for standard keyboard and mouse if normally used). If your computer is a laptop, connect its power adapter (so that it's not running on battery power). Do this to reset the shuffle

Start up the computer, run iTunes, and connect the shuffle to a direct USB port on the computer. Does this problem recur when the shuffle is the only USB device?
If it does (as another test), select the shuffle in iTunes, so that its Settings screen is showing. Check the box for Enable disk use, and Apply. Does that make any difference regarding this problem?
